AN: Well, I wasn’t originally going to post this. But, to be honest, emailing it with all the bold, italic and lines I would have to put in seemed like more work than actually doing this.
So there you have it. A request fiction for Evilevergreen. A GB lemon, loosely based off this: http:/ /www. deviantart.com / deviation / 26066773 / ?offset=30 picture. The title? Totally based off a Dance Dance Revolution song.

CRAAAK!
The whining warning the chain and the ceiling gave fell on deaf ears. Fists continued to pound relentlessly against the abused, red punching bag. Anger flowed through the circuits of a teenager powerhouse.
Cyberlee was angry. But she was the worst kind of angry. The kind of angry where you don’t know what to be more angry at. This, that or the other thing. On the one hand, she was annoyed with her teammates. One the other, she actually was angry at Beast Girl. Then on the other foot, she was mad at herself. Or rather, mad because of herself.
______________________________________________________________________________
They had been returning from an interrupted dinner to deal with a few joyriding teenagers. Of course, there were the usual suspects up for selection. Monster movies, action movies, action-monster movies. But Beast Girl had gotten a hold of a romantic movie and refused to let it go. Something about a man and a woman and a notebook. She and the girl working the register had to have been speaking about the movie for almost forty-five minutes while the rest of them were searching through what was left of the weekend rush.
Cyberlee hadn’t really thought much of it at the time. Beast Girl always wanted something with deep romantic undertones. Happy endings made her a happy Beast Girl. Seeing people having each other, despite their odds and differences affected her greatly.
It was a double surprise to hear Robin express interest in the movie. The first surprise being the teenagers they stopped from joyriding were acting like they were the new age Bonnie and Clyde. Even when they were being arrested, they were throwing fits and such until they were placed in the same police car together. Oh, but their smug look was erased when they were told they would be going to separate holding cells and detention centers.
That, she supposed, was Beast Girl’s sudden interest in romance. Robin must have picked up on that and backed her up because of it. And Firestar never disliked any movie, unless it involved creatures or killers. Those just happened to be Cyberlee’s favorites. Robin was never interested in those, Firestar was freaked out by them, Beast Girl was easily frightened by creatures and paranoid of stalker-killers, and Raven hardly watched any movies. Cyberlee ended up watching them herself after they went to bed.
That fact alone had her a bit miffed as she carried her own three slasher/horror films under her arm. Her eyes caught Raven’s watching her passively as they scanned the titles before her. But she thought nothing of it. Too annoyed at never being backed up. They only expressed interest in her movies if there was some kind of hero team or mystical happy ending adventure. For the life of her, Cyberlee couldn’t understand why they liked those kinds of movies so much. They damn near went through those same things themselves.
A fact that escaped Firestar more than all of them, she believed.“ Romance means the people get together and become happy, yes? This should be more joyous then! “
“ Ugh. Romance. Fun. “ Robin had just regarded her curiously as Beast Girl stuck her tongue out and declared victory.
Raven simply stopped beside her on his way to the door. “ Hey. That’s my line. “ They were all taking too long for his tastes, she guessed.
“ Romance trumps slasher movies any day, and you know it Cyberlee! “ Her human eye rolled in response and she picked up another horror movie to bring her total to four. Beast Girl liked happy endings, but experimental horror/creature movies scared her the most.
Because she had seen her pick it up, she flailed and started to cause a scene; demanding to know why she would pick that movie when she KNEW they scared her. Robin gave her a disapproving look, but it did nothing but make her snort. “ You can look like that all you want. Ain’t nobody makin’ her watch it. She can cover her eyes or leave the theater just like everyone else can. “
The disapproving look vanished, but her arms folded with a sigh.“ You’re going to watch it after she goes to sleep right? “
Always after Beast Girl went to sleep. Oh but she got to watch her movie first. And they all had to be present or she’d throw a fit. “ I’ll watch it when I damn well please. I’m not putting my movies off, that I paid for just to accommodate that little brat. “
“ BRAT?! Who are you calling a brat you tin woman?! I’ll chew you to bits, there’s a horror movie for you! “ Firestar grabbed onto the changling before she could lunge herself at the other female. Cyberlee was not impressed.
“ Can’t you just get it next time? I’ll even watch it with you. “ Robin gave her a pleading look.
She snorted as the movies was placed back on the shelf in their pile. “ Don’t do me any favors Bird Girl. “
Robin sighed, Beast Girl calmed down and she just simmered while heading to the front to grab a drink from the small refrigerator next to the candy racks. That girl got on her damn nerves sometimes. She was like the little sister she never wanted, and the child that Robin always seemed to bend to outside of battle.
Cyberlee remained silent as she stood behind the three remaining Titans. Firestar had an armful of children’s movies. Princes and Princesses and mosnters and witches and fairytales. Cyberlee at least understood his fixation on those kinds of movies. He had no problem watching those over and over again. Especially in his room where he could pretend he was the prince in whichever movie he happened to be watching. These things you find out about your towermates when you hear, “ For sooth! Fear not young maid-EEENNN! OWW! “ in the middle of the afternoon.
“ Will this be all for you? “ The older woman at the cash register asked as she rung the videos up.
Robin nodded, and proceeded to pay while Beast Girl bounced in place. She and Firestar gushed about which movie to watch first and who they hoped got together. Cyberlee just begged Robin to finish up mentally so she could pay for her drink and get the hell out of that place.
Finally, they returned to the car. Cyberlee just plugged herself into the stereo system to block out their speaking of their movies. She wasn’t even aware of Beast Girl’s taunting that she was mad cause Robin had her put her movies back. She also missed the smack in the back of the head that Raven ‘accidentally’ administered when he coughed. Firestar was forced to sit between the two to keep Raven from throwing said changling from the car.
Without the window being rolled down.
Robin got around to saying what she always said when they went somewhere in Cyberlee’s car, “ Don’t make me come back there! “
Thus her car ride was uneventful.
Getting back to the Tower was worth a sigh of relief. The whole time, she had been begging the Powers That Be to NOT let ANYTHING else bad happen that night. Cyberlee couldn’t promise that she would be so quick to warn Beast Girl of an impending hit.
But as it was, all she wanted to do was get something to eat, and go to her room until the night was over. Not a word was said to the rest of the team as Firestar and Beast Girl reached the couch first and set about putting their movies in watching order. Robin followed her to the kitchen, waiting patiently behind her as Cyberlee selected the ingredients to her sandwich.
As soon as the door closed, the leader’s hand was placed on it. But she didn’t open it quite yet, merely turned to say something to the cybernetic female. “ You know how she gets. None of us are in the mood for her whining. It’s much quieter to just let her have the little things. She is the youngest. I mean– “
Cyberlee didn’t even turn from making her sandwich, or slow down. “ If the words, ‘movies’ or ‘Beast Girl’ come out of your mouth, you’re going on this sandwich next, hear me? “
Swea tdropping, the notably smaller female grabbed her water and skittered back over to the couch. Raven floated over to join the rest of them with a small pile of books retrieved from his room. Wine colored eyes followed the metallic female’s figure as she wordlessly took her plate and glass of milk towards the hallway.
“ Hey Leelee! Aren’t you going to watch with us? I went to all the trouble of finding the perfect one! “ Beast Girl’s voice didn’t inspire her to turn around either.
“ Not interested, “ She supplied; still continuing to the door.
“ Cmon, Lee, “ Robin was less grating, in her actual requesting tone. “ Don’t leave me with just her. “
She snorted and turned to give the leader a that’s-just-what-you-get look. “ This won’t kill you. And if it does, I have your dental records. “
Firestar floated over and blocked her exit to the hallway. “ What is it you dislike so strongly about the romance movies and comedies of romance? Do you not wish to laugh and be happy when the couple finally gets together? “ The bright, hopeful smile on his face was almost enough to blind her.
“ ...No. “ Her flat answer deflated the Tamaranian in front of her to the point that she was required to step over him to avoid getting him on her feet.
Raven hadn’t looked up from one of his books since sitting down. “ Just leave her alone. If she doesn’t wish to watch with you, she doesn’t wish to watch with you. Life goes on. The world won’t fly apart if she doesn’t watch your gushy movie and liquify with the rest of you. “
Beast Girl folded her arms and hmph’ed. “ Leelee’s just mad that I got my movies and she had to put her’s back! “
No one saw Raven’s eyes turn white behind his book. But they did notice a circle of pure black appearing on top of the table. From the inky darkness, a stack of four movies rose and deposited themselves on the wooden surface. The slasher, the horror, the creature-experiment and the stalker movies that Cyberlee had collected in the video store.
Beast Girl’s eyes bulged and she scooted a bit closer to Firestar and Robin. “ How did those get here?! Raven! You traitor! “
The empath said nothing, but turned a page in dismissal. Robin looked from the tapes, to Raven, then back again. “ Raven, did you pay for these? “
“ No Robin, “ His head never rose from the text. “ I didn’t. I blatantly stole them in front of those cameras with my so typical powers. I knew they would NEVER be able to trace it back to me. After all, soul-selves are in style this year. “
Firestar occupied himself with reading the back of them in interest. Beast Girl sputtered in an attempt to say something. Anything. Robin was just trying to figure out if Raven was being sarcastic or serious. It wasn’t above him.
“ Relax, “ He soothed, as he turned another page. “ You’re not accessories and you haven’t received stolen property. And even if it was stolen, it still wouldn’t be for you. “
Cyberlee was staring at the stack on the table with concentration. She was attempting to figure out how else they could have arrived there. It just didn’t begin to compute that Raven had taken them. He didn’t even like movies.
“ They’re not for me, are they? “ Beast Girl squeaked, as she hid under Robin’s short cape.
For the first time since entering the room, Raven lifted his head to regard the rest of them on the couch. “ They’re for Cyberlee. “
There went that disapproving look on Robin’s face again. Both she and Beast Girl started to speak at the same time.
“ I can’t– “
“ Beast Girl can’–“
“ Beast Girl, “ Raven interrupted with a bored look. “ Can close her eyes and scream like a normal teenage female. Or she can go to her room and hide under her bed. I want to see them too. “
Robin really didn’t want a big argument with Beast Girl so close and Cyberlee being in the mood she was in. But the other female was older, she could only hoped that she understood what was about to be asked of her. “ Lee, would you mind watching them tomorrow or something? “
First of all, Cyberlee was finding all of this a bit much to take in. Raven bringing in movies, specifically the ones she wanted. Then saying that he wanted to watch them as well. And now, Robin asking something of her again. The hand that held her plate started to shake in her grip. “ Bite my shiny metal as– “
Beast Girl had been hissing and sneering at Raven, but she turned her attention to Cyberlee. Hopping up on the back of the couch, she began to shake her fist at the metallic female. “ What’s your problem, Robo-woman?! You got your freak movies, be happy! You just hate to see normal people together, don’t you?! That’s why you keep renting all these bloody killer movies! If Cyberlee can’t be normal, no one else gets to be! No one else gets a happy ending! “
CRASH!
Both the plate, and the glass shattered upon impact. Cyberlee had forgotten her food completely however. Her right hand was transformed into the sonic cannon. Its energy building hum seemed to be the loudest sound in the room. Beast Girl was frozen in her perch. Firestar had turned to watch in trepidation. Robin had shifted to hold her hand out, palm up in Cyberlee’s direction. Even Raven had looked up in slight surprise.
Her teeth were grit in fury. She didn’t even look like she was about to cry. Cyberlee looked like she was about to commit a crime. Her red eye was glowing bright as the targeting system within the lense was locked onto the green female on the couch.
“ I dare you to say that again. I dare you, I defy you to say that a second time! “
Robin moved to lean in front of Beast Girl. “ Cyberlee, now just...calm down...You know she didn’t mean it. Beast Girl needs to learn to watch her mouth. “ The masked eyes were turned in the green-skinned changling’s direction. Her tone clearly not pleased.
Said mouthy female merely tried to shrink back from her perch on the couch. “ Well, I...She was being all unreasonable! “
The only thing that saved Beast Girl from taking flight through the wall of the tower, was Robin diving to get them both out of the way. A sonic blast that was intended for the changling hit their wall instead. The large windows shattered at once; glass bits flying nearly everywhere without Raven’s interference. Firestar floated in front of Robin and Beast Girl; looking apprehensive. As if he wasn’t sure he should have been standing there or not.
Cyberlee stood there with a blank look on her face. Her right arm smoked from the previously fired blast. “ People who live in green zoos, shouldn’t throw stones at the computers that regulate their survival, “ were her last words before the door slid shut behind her retreating form.
______________________________________________________________________________
Cyberlee didn’t recall being that angry in a long time. Truthfully, she did regret shooting at Beast Girl. At least, somewhat. But those things she said, and Robin, forever on her side! It was always brought up that Beast Girl was the youngest, and she still had to learn, and Cyberlee was the oldest, so she should know better and have a little more patience.
“ Huh. Patience. Ran out of that stuff a long time ago. Hnn! “ Again her fist collided with the beaten hide of the punching bag in the form of a right cross.
SNAP!
Unfortunately, that proved to be all that the bag could take. The chain suspending it from the ceiling snapped into several pieces as the bag itself was launched from its hanging place to smash into the wall.
Now that she did feel a little bad for. Setting up new punching bags always felt like a chore to her. Not to mention that she still had every intention of hitting that thing until she felt better.
“ Nice shot. “
Her form didn’t jump as Raven melted up from the floor. Her eye locked with both of his before she looked back at the other equipment in the room. “ What are you doing here? Robin send you to have one of those anger talks with me? Is she on her way? “
The discarded punching bag was coated in black as were the chain bits. Forcibly fit back together, the bag hung itself back up from the ceiling. “ She won’t be joining you tonight, I’m afraid. “
The half demon smirked wickedly to himself as he pictured their leader banging and kicking at the living room door to escape. The useful wonders of seals and spells. He would never tire of using them.
Cyberlee watched all the reconstruction with wariness. Raven wasn’t a nice guy. He intentionally scared people. He had no problems harming villains. He wasn’t above threatening his teammates when irritated. One hand was placed on her hip, while the other gestured to the perfectly swinging punching bag. “ Alright. What’s up with this here? “
Raven looked at her blankly before floating past her to take a seat on the bench near the wall. Book appeared in his hand from under his cloak when he leaned back. Cyberlee took that to mean that she wouldn’t get an answer. Not even in the mood to try and get him to speak or explain himself, she just resumed her exercised in anger management.
Her internal clock let her know that an hour had gone by. Sixty minutes that she had been in the weight room. Sixty minutes that she had been in the weight room with Raven. He wasn’t just ignoring her either. Whenever she hit particularly hard, black would coat the chain and the bag.
Now she was finished hitting. Punching the red bag was doing nothing for her now. One hand on the bag to steady herself, she focused on catching her breath and thinking of what she could do next.
“ Feel better? “ Raven’s head didn’t lift up from the pages.
“ More or less. I’m not feeling homicidal if that’s what you mean. “
“ Keh. “ The book closed before ruby eyes locked onto her one. “ You shouldn’t let yourself get that angry. “
Cyberlee turned away. “ So not in the mood for THAT conversation right now. “
Raven was not to be denied his piece however. He appeared directly before her with his arms folded. “ It’s not healthy for you. You should swing at her before she pisses you off that bad. That way we could all avoid Robin’s teamwork lectures. Just remember to lead with your left and swing with your right. She doesn’t guard her sides very well. “
Her head shook as she regarded him.“ I always knew I could count on you to condone my violence Raven. “
“ Yeah, well, what are friends for? “ With that the empath was about to disappear back through the floor. But Cyberlee’s hand on his shoulder stopped him from beginning to sink through the floor. “ What now? “
Her hand was removed, and she refused to meet his eyes. “ I...just wanted to see if I could feel what the others felt when you used your magic or your powers. “
“ You can’t feel that? “ His tone wasn’t as warm as he wanted it to be. And as soon as the words left his mouth, he wished they hadn’t. The stiffening of her spine made him twitch. Well dammit. “ I...I didn’t mean...”
Cyberlee’s hand raised to wave his next sentence off. “ Don’t worry about it. Not feeling is something I’m used to. Heh. You can feel everything and I can’t feel anything at all. There’s a joke in there somewhere. “
Raven frowned as he felt her tearing at herself from the inside. “ It’s not that...I just forget...that you are different. “
This time she turned to look at him. “ That’s the worst apology I’ve ever heard. “
He actually huffed this time. “ That’s not what it is. I mean it. I forget that you can’t feel things, just how different you really are. “
“ Now I know it’s a bad apology. How the hell do you forget that shit? “ Her index and thumb hit against her forearm to set off a metallic clang.
Raven shrugged and let his cloak cover his whole form as he turned to face away from her. “ It’s not that hard. I’ve never seen you with your...metal parts. I don’t see any of you as you appear. I see you as you really are. “
“ But...you make all kinds of short jokes on Robin. “ Cyberlee tiled her head and folded her arms.
“ That’s because Robin herself is short. You were a little more difficult in the beginning. All you were was metal parts. But I could feel the fallacy in that. Looking a little harder, I could see through the metal. “
Redness filled up Cyberlee’s face. “ You...saw through my metal? “
“ Uh...I mean...” The very same redness applied itself to Raven’s cheeks. The same punching bag that he’d fixed and maintained for her was blasted to a million pieces. Blackness came in front of Cyberlee as the empath shielded her from the bits of metal. “ See? This is why I don’t talk to people. “
But Cyberlee wasn’t about to let him slip back in his ‘mean bastard’ facade. “ You said you saw through my metal. What did you mean? “
Now the empath shifted uncomfortably. “ Well, just what it sounds like. I saw through the metal. I’ve always seen through your metal. You just look like a woman to me. A pretty, normal, teenage-almost-woman. You have beautiful eyes, gorgeous lips, attractive...erm...other parts. “
A whole weight set was blasted from its stand. Again, Raven came between Cyberlee and the projectiles. This time, tugging her behind himself to put a full shield up around them. Metal sounded off against his soul-self before hitting the floor. Cyberlee looked over his shoulder, resting her hands on both of them to observe the rest of the damage. “ Wow. “
Raven stiffened as she looked past him. True, there was cold metal back there, but that wasn’t what he truly felt. He felt what he saw, a full-bodied woman with all her attractive parts pressed against his back. Not to mention, he could feel the way she was impressed by his display of power; unintentional as it was.
The demon in him was beginning to stir. Using his senses to sniff out the female that had disturbed his slumber. Mature human female, insecure, but he could work around that. Strong enough to defend herself, and any offspring he might decide he wanted her to have. Much less annoying than the green female.
Raven twitched as the half demon instincts started to raise flags and set off alarms. It took some concentration to look at Cyberlee without his vision completely filling up with red. “ I’m sorry, what did you say? “
She looked a bit crestfallen. Raven twitched a second time. Why was tonight so hard on him? “ It’s nothing. Forget it. “
Stupid beast. Quiet down in there, goddammit! “ No, if it’s important, tell me. Even if it isn’t tell me. “
Now Cyberlee was having a hard time looking at him. The demon rattled in its cage as it sensed her apprehension, her pending embarrassment and vulnerability. The second one he didn’t recognize so much, but the other two were driving him crazy. Blasting the beast into submission made him twitch his eye and his fist clench.
“ Do you...Do you really think under all this, I’m pretty? Even with, seeing me like you do, you have to know what I physically look like. What...they think of me. “
It was his moment of weakness that did it. Since mentioning his thoughts on her female parts, he just seemed to make himself sink in deeper. It was when he was berating himself that the demon slipped past him. “ Humans are stupid. All that emphasis on looking a certain way. It’s all bullshit if you ask me. You’re a perfectly suitable mate any demon would be lucky to have. You can take care of yourself, certainly not fragile, you don’t bitch and whine or attempt to control everything like the other two females. You look just as good, if not better than those puny human females. And if you have anymore doubts about yourself, I’ll mate you right here and now to shut those fuckers up! “
Cyberlee’s eyes bulged and she took a step back. “ Ra-Raven...? “
His eyes were burning red, and black tendrils had spilled from his aura; curling and slinking along her legs. They quickly climbed up her back and brought her forward; face to face with the half demon. “ I can smell your attraction. Computers don’t understand arousal... “ A tendril brushed over her pelvis, and she jumped. The sensation of being touched there registering as something new in her brain. “ ...But human minds do. “
Cyberlee was caught, and not so sure that she wanted to be let go. “ Raven...are you...are you alright? “
The blazing eyes stared at her for a little longer. Thin lips parted, and she could see the pronounced fangs glinting in the lights; now flickering as his power continued to present itself outward. This startled her. Was he starting to lose control? Did she need to warn the others? Shouldn’t she be doing something?
Her apprehensiveness was given away. Raven caught her chin and brought her in close. “ Let me tell you what I think of your friends...”
______________________________________________________________________________
If she had hung around a few minutes longer, she would have seen the rest of the team slowly relax. Firestar turned to fix Beast Girl with disappointment. He couldn’t even float anymore, standing upright as he reached down to set both team members on their feet.
Robin dusted herself off and looked Beast Girl over quickly. “ I need to talk to Cyberlee, but I’m not finished with you, little chief foot-in-the-mouth. “
Raven was collecting all the glass into a pile when he turned his head. “ There’s nothing to talk to her about. Not right now. You’ll only make her fire again. “
“ She will be alright in time, will she not? “ Firestar brought his hand to his mouth in thought. “ I shall have to look for a special Tamaranian treat for her. That will accelerate her return to happiness! “ No one else could get a word out before the Prince flew off with ideas brimming from his mind.
“ It doesn’t matter her reasons, “ Robin ruffled at her hair as she sighed. “ She can’t fire on another team member intentionally. “
“ Especially me! “ Beast Girl piped, showing signs of enraging again. She was just about to go off on another rant when a few thick pieces of glass imbedded themselves into the ground in front of her. To which she screamed and ducked behind the couch.
Raven glared at the rest of his team members, before melting through the floor. His dark energy that was expelled chilled them to the bone. “ You guys are assholes. “
______________________________________________________________________________
Cyberlee tried to calm herself down as Raven recanted the events in the living room. Raven had defended her in the face of their teammates, even when Robin was clearly about to reprimand her for what she had done. He even went after Beast Girl in his own little way.
This was almost too much for her to comprehend altogether. She was thrown by Raven’s coming to her aid, but his tendrils, dark and magical as they were, were making her feel things she hadn’t felt in a long time. Things she had forgotten how to feel.
There was however, something that stuck out to her. Raven had called them her friends, not their own. He wasn’t losing control, as she had begun to think. He had just had it taken from him by his demon side.
His demonic instincts...interested in me...” Raven, come back Raven. It’s me. Cyberlee. “
His eyes flashed for a moment, the fangs retracted, then protruded further. He began to growl and the shadows he was responsible for edged out to conquer more than the floor and her legs. The walls and the equipment, the lights and ceiling. But his hands came up to clutch onto his head. Tendrils stretched as he tried to back away from her. “ Cyberlee...You need...to get away from me...The demon in me...My beast...He wants you. I can’t keep holding him if you stay here...”
Cyberlee considered running, or punching him out. But then, he wasn’t really a danger to her. He couldn’t rape her. No one would want to. She didn’t have very much to rape as it was. Besides, his demon side was probably feeding off of some repressed feeling he had for Robin. Her hands rose to grab onto his shoulders and hold his gaze. “ Listen Raven, I’m your friend, I would never leave you to battle alone. Now come on, just focus on my voice, we can beat this. “
His hands grabbed onto her waist and yanked her against himself. Tendrils locked around them both; sliding and caressing. Raven dipped his head to ghost their lips almost together, but deny contact. “ You’re making this so hard on me...We could be magnificent mates. The things I could do to you...” Another murky tendril slunk between her legs and curled up near her rear.
Her thighs twitched, his magic and her metal, almost feeling like flesh with his teasing. “ Ra-Raven, you’re just projecting your feelings on me. Robin’s probably a better match for you. She’s strong, and she can take good care of herself. You two could be great leaders. And I know, that Beast Girl is a little brat, but you know, opposites attract. You know she has a semi-crush on you. “
“ BAH! “ The lights broke one after the other. The only illumination in the room coming from Raven’s purple-almost black aura. “ Don’t speak to me of those other females! I’ve selected–” His form started to rise into the air, darkness pulsing under him as he backed her into the wall. Her hands had just made contact with it before he shoved her against it; quickly pinning her there by her arms. “ –And I will have. “
All the shadows and magic, sensations and this new knowledge of an attraction. Cyberlee was having a hard time with actually having a hard time with this situation. How many times had she seen this in some movie, and wished it was her? Countless. Couples caught making out or otherwise while they were on patrol. Her jealousy and misery couldn’t be cured but by sleep and dreams. It was so nice to be wanted, craved, desired.
The exposed part of her real neck became his main focus. Fangs grazed teasingly over the flesh before his tongue soothed over the places. Lips attached to suck and nibble almost hungrily while the darkness continued to mingle around them.
“ Raven...”
But a belt on his boot clinked against her leg. Her other problem was brought up. Just because he could make her feel touches, and he wanted her, didn’t mean he could still have her. “ Ra-Raven...You can’t...I can’t...There’s nothing– “
“ Shh...” An index finger to her lips halted her protests. Lazy, half-lidded, but still glowing red eyes regarded her in amusement. “ I can make you feel...I can make you feel me...I know how to make me feel you. “
Her head swam as his warm breath ghosted over her sensitized neck. “ How...? It’s not possible...These touches, they feel good, but that’s all there is for me. Raven, we can’t– “
His fangs nicked her tongue when his mouth crashed to hers. Frantic and furious, his tongue took hers over, then plundered her mouth. Her hesitant moan made his hips buck forward against her own. Thereby bumping her into the wall. A small dent was left when she arched as a tendril explored her further. Darkness seeped out of the dent, larger tendrils reached out for them both. Cyberlee could not even begin to bring herself to care that she was suddenly sinking into the wall; and Raven was going with her.
______________________________________________________________________________
Her landing was unexpected. By all accounts, she was expecting to fall on something hard; like the floor or the ground.
But what she landed on, she couldn’t immediately recognize. It was soft, and it dipped with her. When she started to come back up, her body was prepared to be launched into the air and make a landing. However, whatever she had landed on, wasn’t elastic. It simply followed her movements and straightened under her weight.
Her GPS system told her she was still inside the Tower, but she couldn’t recognize this place from any of the blueprints or the floors. It was so dark, even her red eye and light couldn’t pierce the darkness. Whatever she was sitting on, it was moving; pulsing and undulating under her. When something brushed against her leg and her cheek, she’d had enough. She wasn’t afraid, strangely. Quite the opposite in fact. Her lack of panicking however was unnerving her. She might not be able to see around herself, but she could see her own lights. If she was in the Tower, she damn well better have a coordinate.
“ What? Raven’s room? But– “
Just as soon as she got the word out, light pierced the darkness. Candles that seemed to be almost everywhere lit up all by themselves. For the first time since landing, she could see. That same darkness that had covered most of the room in the gym was covering the walls. Cyberlee could finally tell that she was sitting on a bed. The blackness that followed Raven, that coated her and the walls, was slithering around freely on the floor. That which she couldn’t tell was either real black carpet or more of the creeping darkness.
A bookshelf was there off to the side. Also covered in candles. She could distinctly pick out the white of a skull near one of them. Some glass near the others. But mostly books. Tapestry hung from two of the walls, purple and black with symbols she didn’t understand. Statues that sat in the corners, near the walls and one by the door seemed to be staring at her; even though only one of them had actual eyes. She knew there was a window in his room, but could not find it in the darkness on the walls.
Raven was standing in front of the bed, just in front of her. His eyes were still burning that same passionate red. Fangs flashed in the flickering light of the candles. His cloak covered him completely, except for his head. That which was shoved aside with a wave of the hand to show the rest of him. In his free hand, he held a large thick book. Without a word, he sat; black and white power mixing with itself as it circled around him. Nine candles came forward, setting themselves up on four sides. Small white, big red, small white. Unlit, they remained as he raised his head to watch her intently.
“ Do you want this, Kaylee? “
Her real name. “ How did you find out my real name? “
The smile on his face was boyish, yet amused. It looked out of place with his crimson eyes and bared sharp teeth. “ You told me. “
“ I told you? “ Her memory files didn’t have that ANYWHERE. “ When? Where? “
The empath’s head dropped, dark locks covering his face; hiding his eyes except for the glow. “ You told me when I saw through your metal. You introduced yourself. You wanted to shake my hand, you smiled at me. You wanted to welcome the beast. You wanted to hug him, and play. Foolishly human, yet...” His head lifted, a wide grin splitting his features as his head raised and it expanded. “ I like you. We like you. If you will have us, we will have you. “
This took much consideration. As much as one could come up with in twenty-five, thirty-five seconds of thought. Raven had just asked if he, he and his inner demon, his beast could have her. If she would have them. How many more offers would she get like that? How many had she had since her accident? The truth of that stung, but it made her turn her head. “ A life with me is not something that you want, Raven. I would outlive you. I could never give you any children. Who in their right minds would rather spend their lives with a machine than a warm human body? “
Raven’s face didn’t change. It seemed frozen like that almost. He didn’t blink, his grin didn’t twitch or begin to erode. It was actually starting to frighten her. Cyberlee was about to speak, but something prevented her. She was enveloped in a chill, running down her spine. This shocked her, as she should not be able to feel chills.
She blinked in surprise, then surprised herself again. She had blinked her eyes. Both of them. Her hand raised, albeit tentatively. What she felt in her palm didn’t compute. The fact that she felt with that right hand did not compute. Nothing computed. Her files refused to be called on, her systems refused to runs checks. She’d given the mental command, but nothing was happening.
Cyberlee moved her hand from her face, then held the other one up. Even with all the candles, there wasn’t enough light for her to see clearly. Her different vision settings were proving ineffective. Raven, still hadn’t moved from his place, but the living murkiness on the right wall split.
Moonlight spilled into the room. White light shone onto her form, and she could only gasp. Cyberlee could not move her eyes from her hands. Then down at her legs, and her chest. Those same hands felt her face, and her hair. The cold air of the room and the window chilled her. She was naked!
She should have been embarrassed, but that was the last emotion on her mind. Shock, awe, wonder, happiness, confusion and disbelief. There was no room for embarrassment. She couldn’t even begin to count the times she would have killed to be in this position right now, with her body the way it was. Who the hell cared if she was naked? She had flesh to be naked with!
“ I’m...I’m real. I’m a woman...A whole, real woman. “
Raven took her hands in his, and kneeled before her on the bed. “ If this is what you want, we can give this to you. “
The shock and wonder didn’t leave her face as she stared at their joined hands. She felt his hands, how warm they were on top of hers. “ How? Technology couldn’t. Medical expertise couldn’t. How can you– “
“ Magic. “ His answer was simple. Normally, she would have taken it as a joke. Sarcasm to avoid a real answer. But with Raven, it couldn’t be disregarded as not being the truth. His left hand separated from hers to gently tap his knuckles to her forearm. “ Flesh is flesh. Steel is steel. Replace one with the other, and you may feel. “
“ Feel...I could be...normal...? “ Now her eyes met his, and she could see him. Raven without the demonic glow. The smile he gave her almost inspired one of her own. “ But this...how much magic is this taking? You’ll strain yourself. Hurt yourself. You already let your demon out once because of me. “
Fangs reappeared as his eyes flashed. “ Because I want you too. It’s no big stressful thing. Your true self just lies in your metal parts. You never stopped being human, being a woman. You just covered her up. All we did was bring her out. If you so desire, we could bring her out to stay. “
“ Out to stay...” Cyberlee had to think seriously on this. To be human. To be normal. To be a free, average black woman. She could go outside and not be stared at. She could be just like everyone else.
“ Can you...really make me like this? Forever? “ The hope was almost too much to bear.
But Raven nodded and pressed a kiss to her forehead. “ As you are, right now, this will only last as long as the moon is out; full and above us. I...I could make this permanent. You could be completely human. But I would only do that for you, if it was truly what you wanted. “
“ Right now...there’s only one thing I truly want...” Her arms were thrown around his neck and used to tug the male onto the bed with her.
_____________________________________________________________________________
Teeth clicked as their lips crashed together. Her mouth was clumsy under his, out of practice and unable to keep up with his building hunger. The hands around his neck clung for fear of losing herself in their kiss. When his own gripped her hips, the part of her brain that still functioned wondered if this was a bad idea.
Up his hand slid, fingers gliding over her sides to almost cup her breasts. So close they came to closing around them, only to brush along the underside. Whimpers slipped from her mouth into his, her back arching in an attempt to get more contact. That which he so cruelly denied. The hardening of the teased nubs brought to her attention another sensation; this one completely new.
The other hand grabbed onto her wrist and tugged. Both hands unlocked from around his neck to flop on the bed next to her head. A flare of power, and she felt the darkness underneath them shifting. Tentacles slithered up over her form; brushing over her nipples and slipping between her thighs to latch onto her wrists. Thick and unmoving, they anchored her hands to the headboard.
“ Nn?! Raven– “ Index finger silenced her protests. His eyes weren’t red, she couldn’t see fangs. He was really doing this, calm and in control.
“ Relax. We just want to focus on you. This isn’t your first time, but it is your first time in a long time. We just want to make you feel, is that okay? “ The look on his face was patient. Not expecting, not pressuring, not even sympathy-seeking.
How long she looked into his eyes, she didn’t know. But when she was gave him a small smile and made herself comfortable under him, he got his answer. Her smile was returned, his head lowering to plant a soft kiss to her lips.
When he raised his head, the burgundy was back. His fangs were revealed as he grinned at her. That was the only warning she received before his head dipped to capture one of her breasts in his mouth. The brush of a fang and the warmth that followed made her gasp; bucking up a second time from the unexpected touch.
His free hand surprised her yet again. It cupped between her legs; the warmth and wetness coating his fingers. Her soft cry tempted a purr from his throat. Her arousing scent only grew stronger as his fingers played. The hardness that had begun in the weight room, now pressed painfully against his clothing. But it wasn’t time to release it yet. There was so much more to feel.
Digits continued to stimulate her entrance and her now exposed pearl. Cyberlee was a panting mess; so many good feelings, she didn’t know which one to focus on. Fingers manipulating her core so well, or the heavy attention being paid to her breasts. His tongue hadn’t let up since it started, circling her harden nipple mercilessly. Flicking over it had made her hips jerk repeatedly. His pointed fang grazed the tip, and she nearly impaled herself on one of his fingers.
“ Aahh...So good...” Her bound hands squirmed and tugged uselessly. The tendrils didn’t hold her tightly, but did not allow her to lower her arms. Being held like that, her body exposed and vulnerable to his hands and mouth, seemed to make every sensation just that much more intense.
Raven alternated between the two breasts and using techniques. There was no way to prepare herself for all the pleasure starting to build in her body. The more his hand taunted and manipulated her netherlips and her very responsive pearl, the more they seemed to throb. When his hand that had been stroking her hip moved up to pinch her unattended nipple, the same time her mouth enveloped the other, Cyberlee thought she’d lose it.
“ Unhh...Raven...”
That seemed to be the magic word, as his hips bucked forcefully against her thigh. She felt the tight bulge against her leg, and lifted it. The resulting groan he let out made her purr. His head lifted to look down at her predatorily. “ Bad girl. You’re supposed to be laying there feeling good. “
To this, Cyberlee just smiled innocently and shrugged as best she could. “ Funny thing, my body seems to remember my distinct problem with doing what it’s told. “
Blackness flared behind Raven, to the point where she could only see a shadow of his face, the wine color of his burning eyes and the whiteness of his fangs. When the darkness began to recede from his body, she could only see his pale grey skin. He was just as bare as she was. “ Kaylee? Is thi still...what you want? “
Her eyes were only halfway open, but she regarded him through her lusty haze. Tipping her head to the side, her legs lifted to lock around his waist and jerk him forward.
“ Aahh! “
“ Gyaah...Fuck...Ssssneaky human. “
Raven had to rest both hands on the headboard in front of him. The beast wanted to start ramming, to begin claiming and the wild process of cementing their relationship. Time was needed, however. Cyberlee’s back had left the bed completely. If it had not been for the tendrils holding her down, he wasn’t so unsure she wouldn’t have completely flown away.
His desire to stay still, though was being tested through her moving. Wiggling and squirming in the way that allowed him to feel every single movement in high sensation. When he chanced opening his eyes and looking down, he expected her to be writhing in some pain.
But she was smiling!
“ That’s funny? Is that funny? Hn! “ His plowing inside forced her back to arch. The bolt of pleasure that struck from her core gave her enough strength to stretch the darkness holding her arms. It still wasn’t enough to free herself however. Smoldering dark crimson eyes looked into her half lidded ones. “ You feel just like I imagined. Do I feel good to you? “
Cyberlee had been about to answer. Truthfully, she was, but he bucked, and she couldn’t help herself. “ YES! “
Demon red burned brightly, his grunts and growling purely animalistic in nature. The beast had allowed him to make her feel. Now it was his turn. To take her, to claim her, to fuck her until he was sated. Until she was satisfied, and knew without a doubt what happened when you rattled a beast’s cage.
The pace of his hips was ruthless. Fingers dug past the darkness and into the wall as he threw himself forward over and over again. Her cries, rising in volume, spurred him on. Louder and louder he desired. Satisfaction would not come until he had forced her to scream.
Harder. Faster. More, more, more! Slowing down or stopping wasn’t an option, even if he wanted to. His back bent and curved as he rammed himself inside of her. The blackness binding her wrists twitched and flexed, right up until they released her and sink into the bed. The murkiness all around them was twitching and flailing almost madly.
Raven’s power flowed freely in the room, the darkness clinging to the walls, the floor and the ceiling with the same determination as he was plunging his length into her slit. The sounds that left his mouth sounded not even human, or animal. The growls and grunts Cyberlee was causing him to make were those of a demon.
With a snarl, his left hand removed itself from the wall and went straight for her leg. Right thigh was captured in his grip and he raised it to bend to her chest. The other leg, he pushed out with his other hand. The sight of their fucking nearly made him dizzy.
Cyberlee’s hands, now free, latched onto his shoulders. Her nails bit into his back with ferocity as she leaned up from her position on the bed. It felt so good, so amazingly good. There was nothing she could begin to think of to describe it. It was all she could do to get the boy’s name out properly between her cries. “ Raven! “
Nails digging into his shoulder blades made him toss his head back with another demonic growl. When his head came forward again, the dark red focused on her neck. “ Mine! “ Was the only warning she received before Raven sunk his fangs into the juncture between her neck and shoulder.
The taste of her blood, human blood, the blood of the one he had chosen; sent his senses into a frenzy. The need to claim and fuck was at an all-time high. Raven’s hips moved with a new determination. With even more force. The bed being covered and empowered as it was bumped into the wall hard enough to shake blackness from the ceiling to fall around them. Something he wanted, something he needed to hear from her, something he was damn well bent on making happen.
“ AAAH! RAVEN! “
That was it. As soon as her voice filled his ears, Raven lost himself in a surge of power. The darkness that had twitched and flickered on the walls came forward and swirled around them. The glass in the window shattered into a thousand pieces, joining the vortex of black power that surrounded the bed. The roar that was released shook the whole tower, setting off a collection of waves in every direction in the bay. The ever burning candles, with their flames now blue, burst forth infernos; nearly touching the now bare ceiling.
He felt her stiffen, and her body convulse as she tensed repeatedly. The urge to hold onto her, soothe her through the orgasmic storm was there. But he was already starting to black out. The burgundy had faded away. His fangs retracted to leave only a faint blood trail from his mouth as evidence of their existence. The multitude of candles that had burned so high abruptly went out; as if the wind had snapped at them all at once. Living shadows retreated under the bed and came back to Raven, just in time for his form to flop back on top of Cyberlee’s.
It took the rest of his remaining energy to tug her against him. One of the final dark tentacles had to be asked to move the covers over them both. For Cyberlee was down for the count, and Raven was not far behind.
______________________________________________________________________________
“ Completely human...”
Those words normally would have filled her with joy. However a startling revelation came to her. If she was just like everyone else, she would be a civilian. And civilians were not, by definition, superheroes. The Teen Titans would be short-handed. Even if they found someone to replace her, the Tower still was built for her. For her to interface, for her to repair, for her to plug into and for her to live in. With her friends.
Her head shook as she made her decision. She couldn’t afford to be human right now. Not while people still needed to be protected. Not while evil was still outnumbering good. Not while she still had a job to do. They all still had a job to do.
Carefully, she sat up only enough to look down at Raven. He was out cold, the poor guy. Well, he had been through just as much as she had. Both he and his demonic side, his beast. Fingers traced over the bite mark on her neck.
“ Yours, huh? Well, there are certainly worst things than the two of you. “ Her hand rose to brush his hair aside. Metal against his skin made him shiver, but crack open an eye. First, it observed the window. The sun had risen. The other followed as he looked at her once again white hand, then at her. The question in his eyes was answered with a smile. “ Not yet. One day soon, I hope. But not yet. “
His eyes slid closed as he nodded. Thin lips pressed to the back of her hand, even though he knew she couldn’t feel it. He looked like he was about to say something, but a knock at the door interrupted them.
Cyberlee slid from the bed. “ I should probably hide somewhere. “ But Raven’s hand on her arm stopped her from disappearing into the bathroom. She just caught a glint of light as he turned his head.
The dark form melted into the bed, and reappeared in front of the door. A purple symbol flashed, before it opened. “ What? “
There stood Beast Girl, letting out a startled monkey noise as the door opened unexpectedly with her back to it. “ Uh...Hi. Yeah. I was just coming by to ask if you could...You know, apologize to Cyberlee for me? About what I said. I’m not that good with these things and I know I hurt her feelings, but you’re really good with feelings! That’s what empaths are for, right? “
Redness flashed, and Cyberlee thought she heard a tentacle crack on the ground over by the door. Beast Girl had jumped to hang onto the ceiling to avoid becoming what was the crack on the floor. “ Are you insinuating it is my responsibility to clean up your mess because I happen to be an empath? OUT OF MY SIGHT BEFORE I– “
“ Raven! Raven, calm down, babe, it’s cool. “ Cyberlee appeared beside him and placed a hand on his shoulder. Immediately the demonic light left his eyes. He merely grumbled and swept his cloak over his front, but didn’t step back from the door.
Beast Girl tilted her head from her upside down view. “ Leelee, what are you doing here? This is Raven’s room! “
She had been about to speak, but Raven’s arm was placed in front of her and he narrowed his eyes. “ That’s not your business. Finish whatever else you have and beat it. “
Cyberlee sweatdropped and lowered Raven’s hand. This relationship was going to take some work and getting used to. Someone was going to have to give that damn beast some training in manners. The work that lie ahead of her made her sigh; but at least it wouldn’t be all bad. Not if last night was any indication. “ Now what did you want to say to me, Green Obscene? “
Beast Girl flinched, but hopped down to stand in front of them. “ I just wanted to say I was sorry for last night. I shouldn’t have said what I said. I guess, I am a little brat. And I have some growing up to do. I promise it’ll never happen again. And I hope you’ll find your happy ending someday. “
Cyberlee shook her head. “ I’ll take your word for it. This time we can stay cool. “ Her hand shot out at the last second to grab onto the changling’s shirt and yank her up to eye level. “ Make sure it never happens again, I ain’t playin’ with you, hear me?! “
“ YES MA’AM! “
With that she was dropped. Cyberlee smiled in her previous friendly manner, while Raven just continued to glare. “ You nevermind her happy ending. When you get your own, you can tell us what that’s like. But for now, her’s goes a little something like THIS! “
