It's been a long time. Too long it seems. A year after defeating the Brotherhood of Evil the Teen Titans decided to go their own ways to develop their powers and abilities separately, but not before promising to each other that they would all return. Though now as that time draws near they can hardly be called the TEEN Titans anymore.
The Titans
Chapter 1: Reunion
"How long has it been? It seems like it has been so long since we all gathered here last. Four years? Maybe five? I've grown stronger in that time, sure, though I miss them a lot.." said Cyborg with a sigh as he looked out at the Bay of Jump City. He had called this city his home for so long there was no way he could ever leave it completely. So when they all decided to separate he was the one that decided to stay. Though things are not always as simple as that. The sound of the doors sliding open then closed behind him make him smile as he turns to look at the one he has been sharing the tower with for well over a year and a room for over a month now.
Jinx walked into the room wearing her usual dress and stifling a yawn as she walked up behind the couch leaning in to drape her arms around his shoulders from behind. "There you are. I was looking for you.." She said with a giggle giving him a light kiss on the lips before looking out the windows at the Bay. "I dont think I will ever get tired of that view. Though I'm a little curious as to why it's been so quiet these past few days." She said with a grin before pulling away and hopping over the couch sitting next to her Boyfriend giving him a Knowing grin.
"What? I know that grin. You know something don't you?" Cyborg said with a chuckle as he wrapped an arm around her waist making her squeak as he pulled her closer so that she was leaning against his shoulder.
Jinx just giggled at the question as he grinned brightly at him before leaning in to whisper in his ear. "Your friends are coming home." She said though that seemed to be enough as Cy's eyes went wide and a grin was plastered over his face as he asked her how she knew and if she knew when. This only made her giggle again. "There was a call right before I came looking for you. It was Starfire saying her and I Quote, 'Robin who is No Longer Robin, but Nightwing' will be arriving by Nightfall." She said grinning at her boyfriends extremely happy looking face.
"BOOYAH!" Cyborg yelled out as he jumped up off the couch leaving Jinx behind for a moment. He ran over to the Kitchen area and started looking through the Cupboards and Fridge. "If they are coming that means Raven and Beast Boy surely cant be that far behind!" He said as he starts throwing away mummifies leftovers and expired goods. "Damn we really need to go shopping! No way we have enough food for everyone!" Cy said as he worked on clearing the Kitchen.
Jinx grinned as she watched Cy go at in resting her chin on her arms now folded on the back of the couch. When the prospect of Shopping was brought up she got up and nodded. "I was thinking of going shopping soon so the timing seems perfect." She said with a grin as she walked over and sat on the Counter pinching her nose as 'leftovers' were pulled from the back of the fridge and trashed. "Jeez..we really need to clean more often, you know?" She teased with a smirk.
"Yea well we never were really that clean around here, though we can kinda partially blame that on our career too. Crime Fighting kind of takes up a lot of time, and is serious work so as you can imagine Cleaning is not exactly high up there on the To Do list like other De-Stressing things." He said chuckling as he grabs the trash throwing it in the Compactor and leading the way down to the Garage with Jinx grabbing hold of his arm along the way.
Starfire smiled over at Nightwing from the Passenger seat of the car he was driving before looking out to the Road again noting the Mile Marker to Jump City. "Oh it shall be so Glorious to be with our friends once more! It has been so very long!" She said grinning brightly before stretching and leaning back in her seat once more.
"Yes, I know. Though I think the separation has done us some good. I know the two of us have grown a lot stronger. I can't wait to see how the others have been doing." Nightwing stated with a grin as he reached over and took Starfire's hand happily. "I'm just glad you didn't stay away for too long. A year was a long time to miss you."
Starfire blushed softly at her boyfriend's comment but continued to grin as she nodded her head. "Yes I had missed you too. I am glad that even though I had spent a year on Tamaran that our relationship had remained strong." She said leaning over to kiss Nightwing on the cheek. "Maybe I should call Raven and Beast Boy to see if they too are on their way?" She asked as she watched her boyfriend before grabbing her communicator as he nods telling her to go for it.
Raven clung to Beast Boy's back a helmet on both of their heads as he steered the Green Motorcycle the Radios in their helmets allowing them to speak with each other freely. "Hey, Raven I'm getting a call from Star you mind getting it?" He asked as he sped down the highway a smile on his face as he enjoyed the feeling of his Raven pressed against his back.
Raven nodded and linked her comm to his before answering it. "Hello, Starfire...Yes we are on the way there. We should be getting to Titans Tower around Dinner Time...You too? Alright sounds good... Cyborg and Jinx? Really?...Really? That's great...Ok I'll let BB know. Bye." She said as the comm cut out before relaying the conversation to Beast Boy and telling him to step on it while hugging herself to him tighter as he speeds up.
As the sun slowly sets on Jump City a Green Motorcycle and a Black and Blue car speed across the Bay Bridge heading into the City as if they were Racing. Meanwhile in Titan Tower Cyborg is working on a Welcome Back feast for his Friends as Jinx watched from her seat at the Counter. He had made a few different things to celebrate the Reunion. His Famous Triple Meat Spaghetti was all ready to be served as he starts making Tofu Burgers for Beast Boy which made Jinx giggle. "You really must have missed them a lot. I've never seen you make anything Tofu. Though I guess BB needs something to eat too, Huh?" She said as she watched him.
"Yea I know, Right, but it's like you said. I can't wait to see everyone! This will be great, I know it!" He said grinning as he piled a couple Tofu Burgers on a Plate and set the Pot holding the Spaghetti on the Counter.
Just moments after that Nightwing and Beast Boy came through the door at Ops talking about each others new vehicles before stopping and grinning over at Cyborg waving him over to join in the conversation. "Hey, Cyborg! You should see Beast Boy's new ride! He got himself a great new Motorcycle." Nightwing said giving Cy a handshake hug before pulling away from his friend just as Cyborg gets tackled by Beast Boy.
"Dude! You look great! You definitely need to check out Robin's new car! It definitely goes with his new suit..and I called you Robin again didn't I?" He asked with a chuckle rubbing the back of his head as he gets up before helping Cy up too.
"Thanks. You both are looking great too. I dig the new look by the way, Nightwing, is it now?" Cyborg says chuckling and dusts himself off as he loos at his friends then just as he was about to ask where the Girls were he sees Raven and Starfire come in talking with each other before they all get together for a big group hug, including Jinx. "Alright! Enough of the sappy stuff! It's time to eat!" He exclaimed eliciting cheers from the group as they gathered around the food getting themselves a plate before sitting down to eat and talk.

As time passes the moon rises high over the city. The team share stories of their training and travels over the few years they had spent away from Jump City. Though soon they were all growing Tired and a new kind of debate started between couples Started. Which room would they stay in? Raven quickly settled the matter with Beast Boy that until he cleaned his old room they would be staying in Hers. Though with Nightwing and Starfire they decided that they would both be staying in Robin's old room. With that the Reunion had seemingly gone off without a hitch! As the Titans were about to go off to their rooms Nightwing stopped them. "It has been a long time since we were all gathered here last. Too long. Though we have grown I am glad to see we have not grown apart. We are and always have been strongest while standing together. Though I doubt that we can call ourselves the Teen Titans any longer. Now instead we are The Titans." He said with a grin before wishing everyone a good evening as everyone went to their rooms.
"So the Titans have finally come home, Huh? Maybe it is about time for us to throw them that Welcome Home Party we had planned?" said a familiar one-eyed masked shadow chuckling softly at the prospect of becoming 're--acquainted' with the band of heroes.
AN: OK! The first chapter is complete and boy was it a pain! Reunions can be such a pain to write! Though I think I like how it went. Other chapters should most definitely be longer. I just wanted to get this part out of the way. Lemons will be in future chapters and spread throughout the story! It is my intention to make an Episodic story similar to the TV series. I hope you all liked it. I'll get started on Chapter 2 shortly!
