Gina Long, fashion model and the presenter at the British Fashion Awards and Eve shared an air kiss as Eve accepted her golden trophy from Gina. Eve was just named 'Top Model of The year'. Eve looked magnificent in a shimmering blue evening gown, with sequins and rhinestones glittering, catching all of the light, making her look as if she was in a rainbow. Her dark brown hair was in long waves with blond streaks running through it. Eve looked radiant through her tears. Eve was the darling of Europe. "I would like to thank God , my many friends family, and fans who have supported me over the years, especially my two best friends, Betty Mantle and Nancy Clayton. Betty who has been designing clothing for me since we were in grade school. Nancy, who does my hair and makeup. They have always made me feel beautiful, even though I was extremely ugly." The whole audience broke up at that. They thought Eve was joking. If they only knew. "To Betty and Nancy's husbands, Reggie and Chuck for putting up with us, and giving us honest criticism, even if it hurt. Which it did sometimes". More laughter Betty Mantle was in the audience, sniffing back tears. She was clutching her own award, 'Designer of the Year', while pulling a handkerchief out of her husband's pocket. Her husband, Reggie Mantle was by her side, proud as a peacock that his beloved wife and their friends, Eve and Nancy were all being recognized for their hard work. Reggie gently squeezed Betty's hand. She leaned her head on his shoulder, ecstatically happy. Nancy had won an award for best stylist and makeup. Chuck kissed Nancy on her cheek. Chuck, Reggie and Forsythe shared a high five. "And last, but not least, to my husband, Forsythe" "Baby, I love you and I want to thank you for loving me. Your love for me has made me what I am today. Beautiful. I couldn't have made it without you in my life, Juggie". Eve blew him a kiss. The audience went wild. . Forsythe wiped his eyes, unashamed at the emotion he felt. Eve was his life. Reggie Mantle was nudging him, teasing him, tears not far from his own eyes. Chuck Clayton patted Forsythe's shoulder. Again with tears he tried to sniff back. They had all come a long way. Life was not always glamorous and roses......
