It was cold. The air breezed through my jacket. I was lost, not really having anywhere to go..I dont't remember how I wound up, here in this cold place. It was barely autmun and people were dressing like it was 30 degrees. The streets were lonely, with the exception of cops walking around.

I kept my hood and hat snuggled tightly around me, my scarf around my nose and mouth. My backpack looked like a mountain. two actually and a briefcase. How could a place have so many cops? Its seemed unnatural, even for a city. You'd think they have more order...the stores around me were brightly lit. Warm and inviting, yet I couldn't dare step inside.

A woman gave me a disapproving glance. I glared back. People were always giving me looks for whatever reason they could make up. Being treated differently was never something that bothered me. Since my birth, with the exception of my parents, everyone else, even relatives had procceded with caution around me. At first, t hurt and I always ended up confused. Then as time went by from elementary, to jr. high and even high school, I understood. Fear was respect.

It was by chance that I discovered my abilites. Harmless childern having fun. Hide and Go seek, too. My friend said he could hide anywhere from me. I went looking, At first I couldn't spot him, but I found him, hiding under my bed. Simple, right? So we kept playing.

To my surprize, I could see where was hiding. Again and again. No matter where he went I could find him. Then I could see through him. Imagine my panic. I could see muscles, fat and blood being carried through out the body, then his nervous system, then his skeleton and finally his spirt. I screamed so hard and long, my voice went. When he emerged from his hiding place, she saw me on the floor. He asked what was wrong and, so I told him. He didnt believe me at first but, when I pointed out what our neighbors were doing, he realized it. Fear swelled in his eyes. He ran from me, screaming all sorts of things. Later, when my parents came home, I told them everything.

A mutant at home, a metahuman in life. It didn't matter what term they used. It all meant the same thing: genetic nightmare. weapon of terror. People cameto my house, offering me chances. One was a boarding school, another an asylum, then a league. Some place called International Operations would help as well. A buddist school. But, I knew better. Whatever the offer, I refused.

They were trying imprision me. A lab rat....no...never....

So I ran.

My journey started awhile ago after my 18th birthday. So, I was wanted

My search was vast. Hit all the spots you can I thought. Easier said than done.

I tried a group of women, strong independent women. But they had rules. One didn't mind breaking those rules but I was outnumbered. Then I wandered onto teenage groups. One, costumed fighters. They were uquine but after a while they kicked me out. Another was A secert organization. I was partnered up with ladies, again. These girls, were still in high school but great at doing their jobs. Again, I couldn't stand it but those girls were like family, even the old man. I might go back someday.

Then a wize cracking hero told me do to what was right. His talk was interperational but, I couldn't go home.

I met a bunch of rule breaking superheroes who could care less about letting crooks live. That was the best time in my life but it couldn't last. I had to move on.

21 yr olds.. Boy, they were a nutty bunch but, they too, had rules.

Then a statuqtte man came to me. I was committing a robbery of a fast food place, something about him made you feel fear. He spoke with me, giving me encouragement. I continued.

By now a yr had past, and I was no closer to living, finding where I would be excepted.

Believe it or not, I saved lives. Doing good things. Repuation followed.

Dr. Strange...yes! It was he who showed me other worlds...new beginnings.....

I ended up in a far away time. Another strange group. Animals were treated like humans. Even a dog boy and his woman, who told him to "sit" ever so often.

A crazy town. I needed a rest stop. A housekeeper and 2 men lived there. They said I could stay the night but a young boy objected. I left.

Then...............I ended up in hell....not a pleasant place.....but there were monsters, demons and, hellspawn. Death a woman, her opponent a she-devil.

Eventually I made it back to the world of the living, dont ask how.

Enconturing the shinigami aka Soul Reapers. They were a pain.

An explotion. In a car, I hitchiked, my body burnt to a crisp. Fate interved for me. I was barely alive. Someone put me up for surgery. I awoke in a new body. It had wires and gears. Cyberiztied. A small note was left. Written by Section 9. My abilites remained intact but seeing the world through different eyes was interesting...

I ended up close to where I started....

The trees ruffeled with the bitter wind. I passed a homeless man. Dressed in warmest clothes he could find, my heart reached out to him. I wasn't homeless but always alone.

Then the rain came, I sighed. Just my luck. No umberella. The Fluff winter jacket my clothes could keep me warm but temporially dry. If I kept walking under the heavy, unforgiving rain, I would catch pneumonia. I shivered, the wind speed up faster. Normally, the wind wouldn't bother me but, on a night like tonight I couldn't stand it. -BOOM-

"Woah!" I said. Up ahead, about a block down, a buliding was burning. People were gasping around me. Then more people in ashes came from that direction. A middle aged man ran past me, nearly knocking me over.

I frowned. More cops. This city had enough cops. The police cars came roaring past me, thier sirens on full blast as if they were trying to deafen me.

"Damn sirens." I said. The rain was heavy, so the fire would be put out soon, along with the firefighters.

They were soon greeted by news vans, reporters and, helicopters. I slowed my pace. I didnt want anyone catching even a glimpse of me.

"Its time, boys and girls, enjoy the ride!" A crazed, peppy voice screamed.

Seeing a speeding blue car heading in my direction.

"Shit." I said trying to manuver through the thick, dense crowd. No luck. Then the car drives erratically, swerving and zig zaging.

"Stop!" The cops in their cars shot numerous times at the vechicle, all with bad acurracy.People running, pushing, shoving,trying to get out the way of that car, it was mircale I wasnt trampled on.

Then the crazed peppy bitch, started throwing things at the cop cars. explocives, "Holy Sh-!" The explosions were tremendous. Bodies flew everywhere, some people hit the ground, others kept running. Like that made any difference, the cars did 360. Half mangeled bodies, emerged from the weckage. I stood, unable to move. Then a scent in the air, it was magnificent, then I started to cough. The cops began gagging. The air became chunky. Couldn't breathe, my lungs were being squeezed.

"Idiots!" I mumbled to myself, struggling to gasp. " They couldn't aim for the tires sooner, asses.." Suddenly, I flew. Like a bird using the thermals in the air.

The bulidings flew passed me, blurry. Was I hit by the damn ? Yes, I must have been. I saw the pavement below. Damn! I wasnt ready, I wasnt ready...

Suddenly I felt something soft. Soft hands wrapping around torso, and a twist in that frosty wind. -WHAM!- My body collided with another.

"Why save the kid?" A hard, cold voice said.

My head lay on someone's lap. My eyes opened. That did me no good, because I couldnt see a thing, bright lights shined directly into my eyes. The car swerved again, hard. My head bumped against the side of the car handle.

"I felt compelled to." The peppy voice said agian.

"Compelled? When in hell was the last time you felt complled to help someone?" The hard voice replied.

"Since right now." Peppy girl replied. Ok, who the hell are these people? I thought. -POP, POP, POP, POP- the smart guys finally hit the tires. Great I thought as the car lost control.

"1..2...3!" The hard voice said. I felt like I was floating again, Whoever was holding me had good balance, like a gymnast. I wheezed, that toxic air from before, I could still smell it, with the cold air against my skin through the slits between top of my scarf and my eyes. Then with a thud, we landed and ran. I looked up, whoever was carrying me, slung me over their shoulders.

The cops couldn't shoot now, they might have hit. Why ? I thought. Why did they save me? Did it matter?
"Those bitches! They've got someone!" A officer screamed back to his batallion.

Duh, I thought. Even I could do better in this situation.

"Bah, Bah!" The peppy person said taunting the cops.

"Harley, hurry up!" The hard voice.

"Waah, wahh. Red, your no fun at all!" the peppy chick said.

Harley? No, I've never heard anyone with that name before........

"Is the kid secure?" The other chick asked.

"Yep!" Harley replied. "Uhh....." My mouth and tongue werent helping me..

"Hey! their awake!" She said "No shit, sherlock.." I managed to say. She gasped. "What a dirty mouth!" Harley said.

"He's right." The other lady said. I tried opening my eyes again. We entered a tunnel, nice and quiet. The walls were bare and muddy.

-Clop, clop- Their feet hit the murky water. Then they went downstairs. My wheezing had gone, but now my nostrills were overcome with a horrid stench. "Yuck!" I said. Life is werid. I knew that we were going deeper and deeper into the tunnel. Down some stairs, through hallways and doors. It seemed like a never ending maze.

Another wiff of some toxic air, I began coughing and wheezing again. "What the hell is this?" I said. It was pitch black, yet Harley and the other woman had no trouble navigating.

"Wow, Red. That's the 10th barrier you have up and their still awake...and alive." Harley said,almost singing as she spoke. "Yes, very impressive. We may not have picked up a stray." The other woman said.

A stray??!!! "What am I, an animal? I'm not a cat!!" I yelled. They both laughed. Finally the smell went away. Harley put me down on something soft, face down. A bed of roses. Roses? "What? wow...." I looked up. It was something similar to a greenhouse except, it was vast. So many colors, like a rainbow. The different types of flowers, trees, plants. It was mind blowing. The areas of grass. This could be like forest.....One giant ass forest.

"LIke what ya see?" Harley asked me. She was quite a looker. Dressed in a skin tight Harliuqenn costume, her muscles showed. She wasn't ripped even by women standards but, those legs seemed so strong. Her face was painted white with a black mask covering around her eye area. Those big blue eyes, seemed innocent. She stared at me, smiling, like a child opening a present.

"Uh, yeah." I responded. She must kill every man in sight with that outfit." I said to myself. "This is Redd's personal eden! Only I'm allowed here, so you're lucky number three!" She squealed in delight. "Redd?" I said sitting up, facing Harley. "Uh huh, My buddy!" Harley said.

"Harley, help me with these bags." The woman said. She was gracefull. Her skin was light green, light green! Her hair was very red, indeed. She was nearly nude. Her breasts were magnificent, with the exception of leaves covering her nipples and private area. Curves gallore. Her green eyes said "Obey me or else." She was clearly the leader of this duo.

She noticed me watching her. "Hello, young one. Glad to see your awake." She said in a calm tone.

"Uh, yeah..." I couldn't stop staring at those eyes, almost hypnotic....."Um where am I?" I asked, snapping out of it.

"My garden." She said. This was a Garden? "No Way!" I said. "I could live here! Its so peacefull!" She smiled, her eyes having a calming effect. "Yes, it is. My home." She said walking closer to me.

Damn emotions, I couldn't stop my blushing.

"Nice place." I said, trying to look away. I could feel those eyes staring at me, following me. "Um, why I am I here?" I asked her.

She smirked "Thank Harley." The redhead said.

"Sooo much, cash!" Speak of the devil. She ran in, wearing a money dress. Without the jester costume, she wasnt cute, she was beautiful. Her blonde hair shinned even though there were no lights. Her bright red lipstick twisted into a grin."We could go shopping for days!"
The readhead and I smiled. "Thanks Harley." I said, half-laughing at the sight of her.

She made a child-like pout. "Why you two laughing at me?"

"No reason.." I said "Say, why did you save me, earlier?" The pout evaporated and the grin returned.

"Simple, you seem like someone me and red would like!" She said. Confused, I look at the green skinned woman.

"Even though Harley knows but never calls me it, my name is Posion Ivy." She said extending her hand.
