  A/N: Got bored and decided to write this, it was also a request made by DeadXDreamer, so this one is for you baby
  
  
  
  Night fell over Gotham City, and a tall shape separated from the shadows, Batman was out of town and now Solomon Grundy had been seen, as the man ran along the roof tops he allowed his mind to run over the Intel he possessed . Grundy was known to be nothing more than a grunt, a zombie who served as muscle for anyone who wasn’t fussy about the methods used, and then there were the reports of two shadows seen following him, one of which sounded worrying and eerily familiar.
  
  Minutes later Nightwing found his targets and sure enough there had been two others with Grundy, but they had stayed back as the young crime fighter had landed and launched into a fast battle. Sure enough Grundy had been the first to fall and soon lay slumped unconscious against the wall, but then his accomplices had made themselves known, they were revealed as Copperhead, a strange serpent like man who Batman had mentioned before and another who had yet to move, but had somehow sent Dick flying with one slap of his ham sized fist, then copperhead had suddenly flown backwards as if propelled by an invisible force, then Grundy had regained consciousness and his mystery friend had stepped forward and Dick stepped back in shock as he recognized the man mountain in front of him BANE.
  
  This is not good, not good at all. Nightwing thought as he looked at the three men in front of him Copperhead and Grundy had been bad enough, but Bane was a major problem, this was the man who had destroyed Batman in a one on one fight, and then had driven Azrael insane as he consolidated his iron clad grip on the Gotham underworld. Despite his defeat at Azraels hands Bane was still as big a threat to Gotham as Doomsday was to Superman, and Dick had no doubt that he was in danger, if not about to die at this monsters hand.
  
  Then just before the villainous trio could attack a crison streak blasted into Grundy, sending him into a wall before solidifying into a slender figure, whose solemn expression was spoiled by the grin in his eyes, then an emerald boxing glove slaamed into Bane before transforming into a muzzle, swiftly tieing the mercenarys mouth shut, and a rope which tripped him up and left him ensared at the youths feet, as Nightwing turned in the direction of the light an old friend landed, his handsome features hidden by an angular eye mask, and a calm smirk crossed the mans sensual lips Dick grinned as he recognized the two men before him, “ Flash, Green Lantern, nice to see you. And perfect timing I might add.” On hearing this Wally frowned “ Nightwing, we have a problem, we need your help.”
