chapter one, before the crisis

Summary when the world is in danger of an invasion no one isn’t affected. enemies will unite, friendships and relationships will be tested, and the life of everyone will never be the same

It is the year 2020 the original Titans are Teens no more, and most of them have either gone for a civilian life or have gone on solo Careers (Night wing for example) In Jump city the crime Rate has never been lower, people live in relative peace. all thanks to a group of teenagers who despite their differences, and misunderstandings were as close as a family.

The villains that once plagued the streets now have either abandoned their ways or found other places to begin their diabolical schemes. Gotham, Steel city, Metropolis, to name a few of the more hot bed places. the once powerful and Great Foes the Olympians Disbanded each seeking their own route. the Hive academy is no more, Slade has moved on to greener pastures. all due to a group of gifted Teens who decided to make a difference.

Garfield And Raven Logan have settled down with their Twin Children, and youngest Daughter named Garfield Jr. 15, Andrew 15, and Rachel 12 in the suburbs of the city they once protected. Garfield Is a gifted Veterinarian with his own show on cable twice a week on animal planet, while Raven helps take care of the finances as his life and business partner and unofficial accountant.

Koriand'r had left Earth not by exactly choice, her people needed her.. and she was heart broken when the man formerly known as Robin had refused to accompany her saying he couldn’t abandon the life of a hero saying it would be like turning his back on the people in need. so she had returned to become the next queen of her people never telling him of the secret life she had within her.

Victor Stone was now head of a major robotics company with independent Ties to Wayne industries focusing on Cybernetic prosthetics that strived to be more authentic to actual flesh, and by looking at him it was obvious that they not only were realistic to the eye but to the touch, everything from arms to more private materials. he barely resembled the teen who had been known as Cyborg most of his former steel body covered with a poly polymer skin synthetic. usually wearing Dark sunglasses to hide his cybernetic eye, which through all their research he had yet to perfect a facsimile that resembled a human eye and functioned properly. he had even surgically grafted actual human hair to his head in a professional business cut,

Dick Grayson was the only one who kept to the heroes’ life and while he had changed location, alias, even in appearance some things hadn’t changed, his loyalty, his courage, and his temper. he worked alone, lived alone, and hated it, he had moments when he dreaded refusing star fires request, he had even Ran into Madame X, now calling herself The Scarlet Knight, several Times in his solo Career, usually resulting in nights he hated himself in the morning because it always gave her hope that he could be more than an occasional night companion again.

Jack and Wren Logan had reformed from their life of crime soon after the Disbandment of the Olympians, living quiet lives that Jack hated, He played the loving father to their twin Daughters Jackie, and Robyn, aged 15, but it was too quiet. he missed the adventure, the fast pace. despite his wife's objections he had gone the solo Career, still using his alias Shape shifter, he used the skills Slade had forced into him from the moment of his birth against what crime there was left in Jump city. hoping to make up for some of the dark deeds he had done under Slades tutelage that weighed heavily on his soul. he had managed to earn Garfield's Trust, even being Called Uncle Jack by the children when he Rarely visited, mostly because Raven seemed to still hold a grudge, she called him Irresponsible, Reckless and a bad influence.

Atlas Stone, formerly the Olympian Stone Cold, had been a rogue wanderer, never calling any place home for long, he had lost his left eye in a fight, and wore a black patch over it, the years hadn’t been kind to him on the road. He missed his friends but he was too afraid of staying in one place too long. Trouble always seemed to follow him. It seemed every time he found a place that he could call home something happened, people he cared about got hurt. Robyn Wilson the woman who once was one of his closest friends, leader.. and first crush had nearly Died because of people coming to get him. he was a wandering warrior without a war to fight and no one to fight for.

Solaris formerly known as Sun fire had been traveling the stars looking for a place she could call home. she had seen many worlds, some were enjoyable, some were rather terrible, she had even visited the home world of the woman she had been cloned from, Star fire herself had banished her calling her several things she didn’t understand but got the jist of, the woman just didn’t trust her not like Sun fire had ever given her much reason to, the last time before she had arrived on Taemeran she had seen Star fire she had been trying to knock Star fire’s head off in the heat of battle.. in defeat she began flying back home.. to the only home she knew Earth.

Robyn Wilson, Formerly Madame X The leader of the olympians and now the Scarlet Knight had been working the solo life, she strived at it. no one to worry about, no one to get hurt if you make a mistake, or so she told herself, she had gone the Vigilante route, she wasn’t as bad as some of the vigilante's she'd encountered but she wasn't above breaking the law to stop break laws. One of the things She and Night wing often Argued about when they ran into each other.. despite all the times Dick Grayson had hurt her, She still loved him, and she was still Jealous of the Tameranian princess who loved him first. She would always get so terribly jealous if he even mentioned her name. which usually ended up with her either storming out, or sleeping with him.

The Hive students had all split their own ways, Mammoth was serving life without parole, because of the last Hive mission he had back handed a cop trying to taser him breaking the arresting officers neck. Jinx had seemingly disappeared, no one had seen her since the Hive had disbanded. Gizmo had moved to Gotham which had resulted in several extended visits to arkam penitentiary, the question was were had jinx Disappeared to?,

the woman formerly known as jinx had severed any links to her former self. she had dyed her hair, a rich black color, cut it, and bought cosmetic contacts to hide her distinguishable eyes. Bought artificial tanner regularly and was going by the name of Leslie Rice, afraid of returning to prison she hadn’t used her powers in years. living in a small back woods town, she was known by everyone within as a quiet secluded woman who enjoyed her privacy, and had Taken a small black kitten in she called shadow, she had enough money stashed away from her days with the hive to never have to work, but to keep up appearances she worked at the local gas station behind the counter for minimum wage for the last eight or nine years. she would make small talk about how its funny that they still call it a gas station when Fossil fuels hadn’t been used in years, or the weather, with the regulars. and return home to a purring cat by the fire place.

Slade Wilson, AKa Death stroke, the Terminator had moved on to a Greener pasture a city Ripe with crime without the interference of the Teen Titans or any other pesky hero group to foil his plots, though it was too easy, he missed messing with Robins head, the battle of wits he had been idle for too long, the police were beyond stupidity no challenge at all, he hadn’t even had a good battle in years.

Tara Malakov had been hospitalized for Depression since her release from her stone prison, finding out not only had the man she had loved, changed, but was Married with a family.. while she still looked like she was only fifteen. she took it hard, had tried to end it only to chicken out at the last moment. the Geomancer formerly known as Terra was scheduled for release, she had been making improvements. seeming more friendly to the people around her it was hard to believe this was the same young woman who had been placed there just a year before shackled to a gurney ranting about the years she had lost with her wrists bandaged and taped.

Little Did any of these individuals know how much the lives they had forged for years were about to be turned upside down, within just weeks, there was no warning, no hint at all of what was coming, at beyond light speed. to a small seemingly insignificant blue and green planet all had called home at one time or another.
