“No fair, Cy! Meta-Knight's my best character!” cried Beast boy, trying to steal Cyborg's controller.

“That's why I want to pick him!” shouted Cyborg, beating Beast Boy over the head with the Wiimote. All right, that's enough, thought Raven. She got up and walked to her room. It's the only place in this house where I can get some peace and quiet. She walked in and shut the door behind her. She sat down on the bed and opened her book and continued reading.

This is very kind of you,” Starfire blushed. “I am most pleased you like your gift.” She floated down the hall and out of sight as she turned the corner. Raven logged onto her computer and went online. According to the instructions, she had to download iTunes on her computer before she could do anything. As she waited for it to download, she heard shouting downstairs, but it wasn't Cyborg or Beast Boy. She opened the door slightly so that she could hear better.

“RAVEN IS TRYING TO READ HER BOOK AND SHE WISHES VERY MUCH THAT YOU WOULD STOP BEHAVING LIKE COMPLETE AND UTTER SPLAZNARKS!” There was stunned silence for a few moments and Beast Boy peeped, “We'll be good.” Raven blushed slightly. Thank you Starfire. After iTunes had finished downloading, Raven began loading her music into her new iPod. She put on the earbud headphones and listened to Berlioz' “March to the Scaffold” as she continued to read her book.

Raven stayed in her room for hours reading and listening to her favorite music. At around six-thirty, she began to smell the delicious aroma of dinner cooking. Have I really been up here all day? Raven's eyes widened in shock. “You mean as friends, right?” she asked. Starfire shook her head. “No. How can you express love as just a friend? I love you like one loves a person they are courting.” Everyone sat there in stunned silence, staring at Raven. “Excuse me,” she said as she pushed her plate away and got up. Raven ran upstairs to her room and slammed the door. Beast Boy broke the silence. “So... tell us more Starfire,” he said with one eyebrow raised. Robin smacked him upside the head.

Raven sat on her bed. She didn't know what to think. That's why Starfire was so nice to her today. She loved her. She still couldn't believe it. I thought she was with Robin, she thought. She took off her boots and threw them against her closet door. There was a knock on the door. “Raven, may I come in?” asked a sweet girl's voice. “Yeah,” Raven muttered.
