"I am called the Bearer of Souls.
I bear them gladly,
From shore to shore.
I am the Crow.
I am eternal.
Most souls are weightless,
They offer no resistance
As I carry them
To the Land of the Dead.
But Sorrow I cannot bear.
A sorrowful soul is heavy.
Weighing me down,
Pulling me back.
Such a soul I cannot bear.
I lend it my Strength.
My Power.
My Glory.
I am Eternal.
I am the Crow.
I take it back,
Give it a chance
To put things right.
And until it does,
The soul is bound to me.
If I am wounded,
It feels pain.
If I die,
Its chance is lost.
I am called the Bearer of Souls.
I am the Crow.
I am Eternal.
