The months sped by, and before you know it was time for the prom. Betty went to prom with Jason Blossom. She was devastated Reggie did not ask her to the prom. She
did not even see him there. Jason made sure she knew why Reggie and Cheryl were both no-shows. Jason had made sure Betty knew about those two being alone.
“Yeah Bets, Reggie and Cher are at my place, all alone...Who knows what they may be doing. Ha!”
Damn you, Reggie! Betty thought, feeling hurt and angry.
     Archie had taken Veronica. Surprisingly Archie had asked Betty first, but she turned him down. She waited for Reggie to ask her, and he did not ask. Jason had tried to
show Betty a good time. However, Betty missed Reggie’s presence and witty comments. She felt like screaming because she knew he was with Cheryl the bitch Blossom.
Was Reggie making hot, passionate, love to her...right now…?
       Betty knew she had to stop thinking of Reggie or she would make a fool out of herself. She felt tears come to her eyes, every time she thought of him with Cheryl.
She pretended to enjoy herself, but she felt so dejected. Betty pleaded a headache after the prom was over when the gang wanted to hang out at Ethel’s house for an after
party. Betty cried herself to sleep that night, with visions of Reggie screwing the shit out of Cheryl .

Cheryl and Reggie were having their own private prom, so to speak.
Reggie was at the Blossom mansion, alone with Cheryl. Her parents were not at home, as always.
“Look, Reggie, what is wrong with you?”
     Reggie was actually very quiet this evening. Cheryl is trying to get him aroused, and it was not working. She was just finishing up performing a very erotic lap dance on
him to the tune of “More Human than Human”, by Zombie Robert.
This usually gets a rise out of him. No good tonight. Cheryl was stripping off her clothing, sexy layer off, as she gyrated, slowly.....
Reggie appeared to stare right through her,
I wonder what Betty’s doing? Reggie’s thoughts had been very preoccupied with thoughts of Betty Cooper, knowing she was at the prom with Jason. Reggie noticed that
everywhere he went, there was Betty, out with a different guy. But lately, he had seen her out more with Jason Blossom. Reggie really had wanted to ask her to the prom. But
he was very afraid of his feelings for Betty. Oh, and Jason had beaten him to it. He was still enraged about that.
Please don’t let her be making out with Jason, please God! He was almost nauseous at the thought of Jason making love to ‘his’ Betty. Reggie sighed as he half-heartedly
pulled Cheryl close, seeing a blond haired girl instead of red haired....
He was not sure he could perform at all,but he did. He simply pretended that Cheryl was Betty. He buried his face in her blond tresses, smelling the intoxicating aroma of
jasmine that Betty was known for….
“Oh Reggie” Betty’s soft voice called his name, driving him wild...
Cheryl screamed her pleasure as he pounded away at her, not knowing what was going on in his head. He almost bit his tongue off trying to keep from yelling out Betty’s
name when he climaxed. Cheryl thoroughly enjoyed herself that night.
She did not know that it was thanks to Betty Cooper.

After the prom, Betty and Reggie nodded or waved to each other as they crossed paths, nothing more. Every time Reggie came close to talking to Betty, she gave him the

cut. Betty was still miffed about Reggie not asking her to the prom. Reggie had been with Cheryl, and probably made love to her all night, while she ate her heart out.
God, please don’t let him ask to go steady with Cheryl. Betty was worried.
She didn’t like the distance between her and Reggie.
God, please don’t let Betty go steady with Jason. Was she sleeping with him?
     Reggie was equally worried. He missed being with Betty. Each of them was afraid to address the other’s relationship with the Blossom twins. Reggie was also
frightened of his feelings when he was with Betty. He was a guy who hated public displays of conflict. Now he revelled in it. Most times Reggie was the instigator of the
conflict. Reggie had been acting like a crazed animal. He knew it. He did not like the looks Betty was getting from the horny guys out there. It drove him batty and he would go
berserk on the poor dope. Reggie felt a longing for something unknown that only seemed to strengthen each time he saw Betty. It seemed as if Betty was always in his mind
and his dreams.
Was she in his heart as well?
What was up with that? What was wrong with me?
