Evilchild here with the new chapter! I know the Titans were a little too forgiving but I needed them to be to work the story right. Once I’m finished with this I’ll probably do an alternate fic, following the same plot line but the last chapter and everything after it would be changed. That’s if you guys want me to.

Now on with the fic!

Everyone watched Robin at breakfast the next morning to see if anything would tick him off. When he seemed to be his normal self again, the all relaxed and ate their breakfast.
Robin sighed and rubbed his slightly protruding belly. “I really shouldn’t be eating all of this. I’m starting to show in sto stomach area.”
“Yeah! You eat like a pig!” Beast Boy joked. Everyone stopped eating and looked at Robin.
Robin just smiled and replied, “You’re right Beast Boy! I need to start back training!” The rest of them laughed, too. Robin had finally calmed down. Now things could get back to normal around here.

Robin closed his eyes as he continued to rub his stomach, as if calming it, and then snapped them back open when he felt a slight pain inside of him. *What the…?*
“What is wrong Robin?”
“Nothing.” Then he felt it again. It was a very slight pain but it was still quite noticeable. It didn’t hurt that much or anything. It felt like a cramp and nothing more. “It’s nothing.”
“Are you sure?” Raven asked.
“Yeah. In fact, I’m doing a lot better. I didn’t wake up sick and the smell of certain foods doesn’t make me sick anymore. I guess I just needed to rest for a bit, that’s all.”
“Well, that’s good to hear.” Cybrog said.
They heard the alarm go off and saw a robbery taking place at the most expensive jewelry store in the city, The Gold Rush.
“Man! I didn’t even finish my breakfast!” Beast Boy whined.
“Let’s go!”

When they got to the store they saw a made in an all gold outfit making off with bags of jewelry. The things is he wasn’t holding but one while the others floated after him. The worlds is full of freaks. They wondered what his power was.

“Hold it!”
The man stopped and looked at them then smiled, his mouth full of gold. “Oh, I see I have alerted the Teen Titans. This is not good. I suppose I will have to do away with you before I make haste.” He threw his bag into the air and it floated in the air with the others. The saw he had a golden hand that glowed brightly before he pointed it at them and a stream of gold flew at them but, luckily, they managed to avoid it and watched as the street turned to gold.
“Titans! Go!” They all circled around him and attacked at the same time. The man quickly formed a barrier of gold around him that deflected their attacks.
“Ahh, I love gold. I love it so much that I even have a golden hand. So I’ve come to the liking of the name Midas. And to the liking of this attack. Midas Touch!” He pointed his hand right at Robin, seeing him as an easy target.
Robin was about to move out of the way when he felt that cramping feeling again and this time it was painful. “Robin! Get out of the way!” Robin looked up and realized that it was too late as he saw the stream of gold coming right at him.

Before the attack collided with Robin, he felt himself being picked up and was quickly moved out of harms way, managing to avoid the attack with seconds to spare. He was shocked to say the least and looked up to see his rescuer. He gasped when he saw it was one of Slade’s androids. “What?” he asked softly. Was Slade… helping him?

The android put him down and when Robin tried to get up there was another sharp pain in his stomach. Robin whimpered softly and his head snapped up when he felt the android rub his stomach to help calm it. He sighed softly when the pain receded and the android moved away. Robin looked back towards his friends and saw that they were still fighting Midas and watched as the android joined in and quickly took down Midas. The android bent down and removed a ring. Once the ring was removed his hand returned to normal. That must have been the source of his power. Since he had on so much jewelry they just assumed the ring was harmless. The android went back to Robin and dropped the ring in his hand and bent down to his level and opened his face plate.

“Slade?”
“Robin… how good it is to see you. You’re lucky I had this android around to protect you should you get in over your head.”
“Why are you doing this?”
“I believe it is time I tell you the whole truth now before you put yourself in grave danger. I want you to meet me at the docks at midnight. I will explain everything then.” The android closed his face plate and ran off.

The rest of the Teen Titans ran up to Robin, who was slowly getting up. “Robin are you Ok?” Starfire asked.
“Yes. I’m fine.”
“Man, what happened out there? You just froze up. You never did that before.”
“I’ll… I’ll explain everything later. Let’s just go home.” he said walking off before they could ask any questions.

Later on that day, Robin was lounging in the living room, laying down on the large couch. He had came out to think since Beast Boy and Cybrog weren’t playing video games. Starfire had come by and asked if he was really all right and he just answered yes and she left to go help Cybrog wash his car with Beast Boy since they begged him constantly until he gave in.

Robin listened for a minute and sighed. “Peace. Finally.” As soon as he spoke those words, he heard Beast Boy running into the living room and, turning into a small cat, jumped on his belly just as Cybrog came in.

“You are so dead!” Beast Boy meowed and rubbed against Robin. “You get off of him right now!” Beast Boy just yawned and curled up into a ball, falling asleep on Robin. Cybrog growled and Robin laughed.
“What did he do this time?”
“He put a scratch on my baby! I give him on simple task and he screws it up! All he had to do was spray her down and he drops the nozzle and scratches her!”
“And you think leaving Starfire alone with your car is better?”
Realization dawned in Cybrog’s mind and he ran back to his car. Robin laughed again as he heard a very loud, very horrified ‘No‘ and laid back down. He ran his fingers through Beast Boy’s fur and heard him purr softly. “You owe me big time.”
“Thanks, Robin.” he said once he turned back and sat next to Robin. Robin smiled at him and opened his eyes to see Beast Boy staring at his stomach.
“What?”
Beast Boy shook his head and smiled. “Nothing.” He got up and ran off somewhere.
*That was weird.* Robin thought as he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

*That was weird. I could have swore I heard something inside of Robin. It sounded just like a heartbeat. But that‘s crazy. I must have been hearing things again.* He shook his head and walked into Cybrog’s room to play one his computer games.

Later that night around 11: 45 pm…

Robin snuck out of Titans Tower and headed for the docks where he knew Slade would be waiting for him. He felt almost eager to see Slade again. When he got down there he saw a shadowed figure standing by the pier.
“Slade?” he called softly.
Slade turned and quickly brought Robin in a semi-tight hug, being careful not to squeeze around his belly too much. “Slade? What are you doing?”
He let him go and brush his glove covered fingers in his hair. “I’m just glad to see you again. I almost thought you weren’t going to show up.”
“I want to hear what you have to say.”
Slade sighed and caressed Robin’s cheek. “What I have to say is not going to make you happy.”
“What is it?” Robin started to feel the icy, cold fingers of fear gnaw at the back of his mind.
“You’re pregnant.” Robin stood there and stared at Slade in shock before he fainted.
*Well, he took it a lot better than I expected.* He sat on a near by bench and cradled Robin in his arms and waited for him to regain consciousness.

I’m sorry for the long update but I don’t have a lot of time. School is very demanding. All you college students should know how that is. I’m hoping to get the next chapter up sooner than this one though. I hope I’m still keeping all of you interested. I try my hardest to keep it going good.

I finally found out how to do bold and italic. Yay me! So now all my fics will be showed they way I wrote them the first time.
