Confronting the demon
Jughead gave his sweet Betty one last glance as he moved to the window where the last person on Earth he would have ever wanted to see waited patiently.
Reggie moved politely out of the way as Jug went through the maneuvers to get out of Betty's window.
The slight sneer on Reggie's face let Jug know that this was not going to be easy.
They faced each other for a few seconds before Reggie spoke.
"So, Needlenose, you've been up to no good with little Miss Cooper, huh" and gave a harsh laugh. What most people would possibly call a giggle but in this situation Jughead was sure was a snort or sneer or something that the bad guys in movies did after they hurt or killed someone. His stomach turned.
Jug realized he had nothing to say. Reggie took care of that.
"So, basically, Forsythe P. Jones," Reggie said with a sneer, "We're looking at quite a situation."
Reggie gave Jughead a look that could melt ice. Jug stood silently, in total shock, in Betty's backyard, as Reggie let the most evil words Jug had ever heard slide through Reggie's snake-lips : "share and share alike, my friend. See you here tomorrow".
