A/N: this may seem odd, but I want to dedicate this chapter to a fella I know as Whtzombie…he showed me a lot today, and I really feel…just so happy I wanna cry…he may never read this, but I wish he knew how deep he touched me with our ongoing correspondence. And with that, I also dedicate this to all my loyal readers, who have put up with my weirdness and creepiness…you can bet your ass this’ll have a really cool ending.
Robin was glaring as hatefully as he could, his eyes narrowed into slits. Jason turned his face to the hero, and gave him an equally as hateful glare, before charging forward, his face almost turned into a snarl. The Boy Wonder’s only reply was to simply toss the explosive, catching the monster right in the face and blowing him out through the wall of the cabin and outside, rolling over and over in a large heap.
Raven gasped a little, her head starting to pound loudly for some reason, but she continued to tug at the cords holding her in place. Robin rushed over, and took out one of his Birdarangs, using the sharp end to cut the cords and free Raven’s hands trying his best to avert his eyes. She looked down at herself, and grimaced in annoyance, the horror of the moment before starting to fade away, and a feeling of complete and utter anger washed over her.
“I can’t believe I fell for it…” she sighed, standing up despite her current state of undress, arms covering her chest, and reaching for her tattered cloak, wrapping it around herself. “I should’ve known better….” She added, while Robin averted his eyes for the time being. She blinked, and looked down at herself, and went red. “And I need some clothes…”
“Uh huh…” the boy nodded, stifling the urge to chuckle, fearing that Raven would probably hit him if he did, or said anything out of place. “Well…I’m glad that you’re…okay…”
“Robin…I was just raped by a giant zombie that smells of fish. No, I am not okay…” she responding, trying to sound a little irritated, though a slight laugh escaped her lips. Robin blinked and looked at her, tilting his head to one side.
“Uhm…I think there’s more than just that….” He referred to her laugh, which also startled her.
“…Slade…”
“What?! He’s here?”
“No…he’s here…” she tapped her left temple, a scowl on her face. “Somehow he found a way into my head….and I think he’s still in there.”
“That can’t be good.”
“I agree…” she clutched her cloak tightly to herself, her scowl deepening for a moment, before she sighed, and gave Robin a little look. “I’d like those clothes today, thank you.”
“Right, sorry…”

Outside, the heap that was and is Jason Voorhees twitched quietly, then rose up, straightening itself out. It then cracked its neck back into place, and went off into the woods, following along the old trails, back to its hiding place.

It had taken him several minutes, but Robin had found a pair of jeans and a dark t-shirt, which were probably a little too big, or too small, for Raven. Still, it was he could find, so he handed them over to her, and waited politely as she struggled to get into them, grunting and occasionally as she got the jeans on, then pulled the t-shirt on over her head, then put her tattered cloak back on, and the belt-like sash she always wore was back around her waist. She sighed a little, then pulled her hood down over her face.
“Now you can call the others…” she gestured to Robin, a slight frown on her face. He responded by taking out his communicator and signaling the others.
“I’ve found Raven…everyone head back to the campsite, this one on the other side of the lake…we need back-up…”
“Gotcha..”
Robin looked over at Raven, then went through the large hole in the wall, and looked for any sign of Jason. “Damn…he really can take a beating…” he whistled in slight admiration, stepping out slowly, ever at the ready. The gothic girl followed after him, her cloak closing around her as she floated above him slightly. “Can you…sense him or anything.”
“No….he’s not here anymore….meaning he moves exceptionally fast out here…” she shook her head, with some irritation. She mentally added, ‘And maybe I can’t sense him anymore anyway….’

It took some time for the rest of the Titans to gather, but by that time Robin and Raven had secured the entire area they were in, and were sitting up outside the cabin, looking a tad annoyed. Starfire zipped in and caught Raven in a crushing hug, her eyes sparkling with joy and unshed tears. “Oh, my friend...it is so good to see you again!” she gushed, nuzzling her a little.
“Star…I’m okay…you can stop hugging me now…” her cheeks were red with embarrassment, partly because of the hug, and partly because of the nuzzling, and also because of Beast Boy’s snickering.
The alien girl blinked a little, but eventually let go, and floated up in the air above Robin, her arms around herself. “Robin did not tell us that it would get so cold out here….” she commented, rubbing her arms to keep herself warm as she flew around in a tight circle around Robin, distracting him for a moment
“Okay, we need to find out where he went...” the leader of the Titans finally spoke up, standing and brushing his cape off. This was Cyborg’s turn to contribute.
“Well, while y’all were gone off, I radioed back to the Sheriff, and found out some useful info. Seems that the Voorhees family was fairly well off, before everything went to Hell for them, seeing as how they have a mansion somewhere out in the woods here. It’s our best bet to where tall, dark, and way ugly’s hiding.”
“Then let’s start looking….” Robin growled, jogging off into the woods.
*****
The grand old mansion was rotting away, uninhabited for twenty-something odd years, the doors all falling in. One in particular splintered when Jason rammed his shoulder into it, and trudged inwards. His black heart was seething with righteous fury at what he had been made to do…but he couldn’t do anything with his face uncovered. A part of him, a large part, demanded that he wear his mask. So he proceeded into the ruins of his childhood home, stomping up a set of stairs and pushing his way past fallen beams into a large room. It was a room filled with the implements of his work, machetes, hammers, knives, even a sword or two, and one chainsaw…and a number of hockey masks. Each one was different, though they were all the same make…the markings making each one unique.
He picked up the mask with blue triangles instead of red ones, and put it on, feeling that calmness wash back over his simple mind. Then he reached for one of the newer machetes, this one with a hilt almost like a sword’s, and gripped onto it tightly, his fingers locked around the handle like a deathgrip. Then he turned and started walking, heading back down the stairs.
He passed through an old kitchen, moldy food still out on the table, some of it half-eaten, and recently, too…Jason was still a growing boy, his mother used to say, and even now he would try and eat something, if not just for her, as his body had no real need for food, or water, or even a stomach. It made him feel a little less…alone. Feeling alone left him easy to manipulate, as the strange burnt man had done before…but now his head adorned one of the many walls in here, and Jason’s fingers hand grown back after a waiting period.
Enough reminiscing, a voice in his head whispered. You have to kill those naughty, awful children…especially the grey one…
His hand tightened around the grip even more, and he nodded slowly, heading towards the nearest door, and pushing it open gently this time, and stood in the dining room area, a calm, quiet peace washing over him.

It was as the Titans approached the driveway to the manor that Raven suddenly fell to the ground, holding her head, and crying out in pain. The others rushed to her side, and crowded around her.
“What’s wrong?!” Robin demanded, his eyes widening.
“I…I don’t…know…” she said through clenched teeth.

During all this, Slade was having the proverbial time of his life as he had Raven’s Knowledge pushed down over her desk, having stripped her completely bare tauntingly with his flame powers, fragments of her leotard still on, and her glasses twisted and cracked. He kept one hand in her hair, gripping it tightly and shoving her face into the hard wood every so often, just enjoying watching the emotion squirm violently. “You know…I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy doing all this….but now that I am, I can honestly say this was more fun than breaking Robin in…”
Knowledge shot him a dirty look, but he pulled his hand back, and brought the open palm down painfully on her exposed rear with a loud smack. She winced, and he did it again, and again, until her behind was red and covered with handprints. She cried loudly, her hair all out of place, and whimpered softly as he gently ran his finger along the welts. “Now now…behave, and maybe you won’t experience too much discomfort, my dear….” He said into her ear, running one finger down along her inner thigh, then along a certain spot, slowly pushing it into her. She tried to move, but his other hand came down, the feeling a lot like the Wrath of God to the trapped emotion. “What did I just tell you?” he sounded almost condescendingly, twisting his finger roughly and causing her to cry out.
He stayed like that for some time, amusing himself with her slow torture, but also waiting to see what affect this would have on the normal Raven.
*****
She felt blinding pain run across her behind, and up her spine, and she cried out loudly, falling against Robin and gripping onto him tightly, whimpering in pain. “Ow…it…must be Slade…..damnit….” she said softly, the pain slowly subsiding.
She stood up, leaning on him and the Titans once again started walking up the gravel driveway, not only concerned about their friend and teammate, but also with the monster that was possibly ahead of them. Cyborg already had his Sonic Cannon at the ready, and Beast Boy was in the form of a bloodhound, trying to sniff out the rancid trail Jason had left behind, gagging as stumbled across a stink more unholy than anything he had ever come across before. He changed back into his human form, and nearly vomited. “So nasty….”
“Well, I guess that means we found him….” Cyborg chuckled as he looked down at his greener-than-usual friend, who had his hand over his nose.
“Ack…dat was so nasty….” He reiterated, sitting there on the dirty gravel with his eyes swirling. This slowed down the group’s progress for a moment, as they waited for Beast Boy to get back on his feet. “Dis is de last tibe I eber sniff out a dead guy….”
Raven was almost amused, laughing a little internally, and feeling a quickly lance of pain through her back as she did. ‘That’s…not normal,’ she calmly noted, despite the sickening feel working its way through her. Robin of course noticed this, as he was still half-carrying her, and frowned a little, his masked eyes narrowing noticeably. “What?” she asked, suddenly feeling self-conscious and flushing a tad, a reaction that wasn’t normally supposed to happen either.
“I just feel a little concerned, that’s all…” he whispered, keeping his voice down. “I mean, after what I saw back there, and now you’re saying Slade’s in your head, doing God knows what….I think I have every right to be concerned.”
“You’re not the only one..” she shot back in a growl, her eyes narrowing dangerously for a moment before she backed down, feeling a little out of control and not liking it for a single moment. She stopped leaning against him, and started walking instead, going past Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Starfire, who had taken the lead on the pair, and hmmphed.
She had every intention of continuing on her way when she felt like passing out, falling down on her knees and groaning in pain, holding her sides.
It was also at that moment that the team had neared the mansion, and saw that for all its rotting appearance, it had once been someone’s home, and beautiful at that. There was a toppled Gym set off to one side, and an old set of swings, long since falling apart, but made with what looked like hard work and dedication. For Robin, and the boy under the mask, this was a place he could’ve seen himself living in, once upon a time. It conjured up warm and fuzzy remembrances in all that beheld it.
Hard to believe that the child who grew up here became a sociopathic monster.
Raven looked up, and saw the entrance slowly opened, and muttered a soft “No,” scrambling back with her hands and feet as slowly, Jason Voorhees appeared in the door, wearing his new hockey mask, and holding his new machete like his most treasured possession.
The Titans all took positions around Raven, who slowly stood up, and tried to levitate…but couldn’t.
“NO!” she cried out, just as Jason started stomping forward, picking up speed and raising his machete over his head. Everyone else dispersed, but Raven was still dead in his path, and with all the anger he had for her in his body, he intended to slice and dice her but good.
“RAVEN, NO!!” Robin called out, reaching into his utility belt as the shining blade came down….
