Girls’ Night Out- Part 2
Chapter 4: United Front

Superman blinked several times, his eyes still blinded from the transition from darkness. The world was awash in a bright yellow radiance. He groggily sensed shadows and dark objects moving around above him. The distant fluttering of leathery wings echoed somewhere in the distance. Slowly his surroundings came into focus and started to make sense.
There was an intense yellow light shining down on him. He thought it was the sun at first but then realized it was emanating from four glowing glass tubes, running the length of his body, and arranged side by side. It felt good.
“It’s a yellow solar lamp, Kal” said Supergirl, sensing his confusion.
She smiled, though it did little to mask the look of obvious concern and worry on her face. With the light from the lamp beaming down from above, set against her golden locks and youthful features, Superman groggily thought she resembled an angel.
“It’s just like being in real sunlight except this is more concentrated. You just need to rest under it for a while longer to regain your strength.”
“Wh-where am I?” he asked.
“You’re in the Cave,” Batman answered. “You’ve been out for hours.”
Superman’s still weary eyes moved from his cousin to the Dark Knight and finally to his left where Green Lantern was hovering over him. He attempted to sit up from the flat, steel table but grimaced from the effort before settling back down.
“We tried to get to Stryker’s as fast as we could but we were too late. Lasso Girl and Alexandra managed to escape,” explained Green Lantern.
That brought everything rushing back-the prison break, the battle, Alexandra and Lasso Girl’s taunting faces staring down at him.
“Lasso Girl…,” Superman uttered. “She was flying and as strong as me somehow but that’s…impossible.”
“You saw that silver suit she was wearing, right Clark?” asked Batman.
The Dark Knight reached over to the mammoth state of the art computer console and made a few quick strokes on the keyboard, bringing up a diagram and several graphics.
“Well it wasn’t just a new fashion choice. There was a robbery at Cadmus Labs a week ago. An experimental prototype battle suit, made in part from technology left over from when Apokolips invaded Earth two years ago, was stolen. That’s how she acquired all that power and was able to fight you physically. The suit is made of a super advanced polymer that conforms to the wearer’s body. It grants her incredible strength, speed, flight, and a high degree of invulnerability- and that’s just from what I could dig up. There’s no telling what or if she can do anything else with it.”
Superman gripped the side of the metal table as hard as could. Lasso Girl and her team were already dangerous enough as it was. They had managed to defeat him and most of the Justice League the last time, after all. But with this new and horrible revelation that she now possessed power to rival his he wasn’t sure quite how to react. He replayed their last battle over in his head and suddenly remembered the reason why they had been able to beat him so easily.
“Something else happened when I was fighting Lasso Girl and Alexandra,” he began hesitantly. “There was this intense pain that hit me all of a sudden. It rendered me and my powers completely useless- even faster than kryptonite. And it’s not the first time it’s happened.”
“Well I was going to wait until you’d recovered a bit before I said anything,” said Green Lantern. “But Batman suggested that I have my ring run a diagnostic on you just in case the computer sensors missed anything. Here I’ll show you.”
An emerald spark burst from the superhero’s ring as he aimed it at empty space. With a mere thought, a detailed three dimensional image of Superman’s torso and inner workings projected out from the ring in an impressive glowing green display.
“It was faint but it was able to detect a residue of an unknown substance in your digestive tract,” continued the Emerald Avenger. “The ring classified it as chaotic science or to put it simply- magic. We consulted with Zatanna and Dr. Fate and they both agreed that it should work its way out of your system in a day or two. We would’ve had them try to remove it but they’re both currently off planet on a space mission.”
“Magic…” Superman repeated quietly.
Despite all of his powers, magic was one of the very few things that affected Kryptonian physiology the same way as everyone else. Not even his invulnerability provided any real protection against it.
“That’s not something anyone in Lasso Girl’s gang is familiar with or uses.”
“Right now I’m more worried about how it got there, Clark” Batman said. “Either they’ve learned some new tricks or there is someone else gunning for you. Now think back. Was there ever a time that you ingested something that you didn’t prepare or see being made yourself in the last 24 hours? Or a time when someone would have the opportunity to slip something into your food or drink?
Superman thought for a moment.
“No, I don’t…wait there is something. I only remember it because Lois commented on it before I left to question Alexandra. There’s this new intern named Celeste at the Planet that brought me coffee today and also yesterday before I fought Lasso Girl at the Gem Depository. But it can’t be anything more than a coincidence. It’s impossible that she could have anything to do with this. She’s just a young girl and besides she would have to know that I was Superman in order to do that.”
“Not necessarily, but we can’t take that chance,” Batman said grimly. “I’ll have Robin check the girl out and see if there really is anything else to her. It’s a slim lead but we’ll take what we can get right now.”
Supergirl stepped forward with a renewed determination in her eyes.
“We’ve already alerted the League to what’s going on and we’re going to take turns patrolling Metropolis until we find out what they’re up to, Kal. With all the members of Lasso Girl’s gang on the loose, it shouldn’t take too long for them to make their move. They have to be planning something big.”
Superman reached out to her.
“Wait, Kara, I need to apologize to you first. I am so sorry for—”
Supergirl gladly took her cousin’s hand.
“Its okay, Kal. You don’t have to say anything else,” she said with a relieved smile. “I’m just glad that you’re going to be alright. That’s all that matters now.”

The sun was beginning to set, painting the wispy clouds with a multitude of orange and pink hues, as Supergirl made another pass through Metropolis. Except for stopping a bank robbery and a couple of muggings, there had been nothing else worth noting. She had not found so much as a clue to the villainesses’ whereabouts or plans.
As she touched down on the roof of a skyscraper, she felt a dull throbbing pain in her head. Supergirl winced and buried her face in her hands hoping it would cease. It felt like someone was going at her brain with a pickaxe.
“Are you alright, Kara?”
She looked up as Green Lantern, outlined in an aura of emerald energy, landed beside her.
“Yeah, it’s nothing,” she lied. “Just a headache.”
In truth the headaches had started days ago and had gradually grown worse. Sleep had been hard to come by. Her dreams had been filled with strange images and shadow cloaked figures and each time she would feel herself falling deeper into a bottomless void of darkness. A mysterious force pulled relentlessly at her, dragging and clawing her down until she would wake up sweating.
“Well, you’ve had a lot on your mind lately,” he said with concern. “Go home and get some rest. It’s my turn for patrol duty.”
“I think I’ll do that. Thanks, Hal.”

Kara shut the bedroom door and leaned back heavily against it. The throbbing in her head had lessoned considerably but she still felt completely exhausted. She wanted nothing more than to crash on her bed and have a few hours alone.
She made her way past the bed toward the closet, intending to change into her civilian clothes, when she noticed the room felt unusually cold. She immediately realized why. The window had been left ajar and a chilly breeze was blowing through causing the curtains to billow and dance in the wind. She abruptly closed it and let out a heavy sigh as she slid the wooden closet door open and pulled the chain on the dangling light bulb.
“No,” she gasped, her eyes widening in sheer terror and disbelief at the sight before her.
There on a wire hanger, in the center of the closet, was a short black miniskirt and matching top. The bold silver ‘S’ emblem emblazoned over the chest seemed to stare back at her.
It was the dark version of her costume she had worn when she had been brainwashed. But that was impossible. She had shredded and disposed of it months ago. It was a grim reminder of the horrible things she had done while under the villainess’ control. Kara staggered back a few steps and felt herself bump into something that shouldn’t have been there.
A hand shot out from behind, grabbing her wrist and an arm snaked around her slender bare midriff. The room lit up with a vibrant purple light, throwing elongated shadows across the walls.
“Aaghhhh!” Supergirl screamed as she felt her powers being siphoned away.
“Well hello, lover” purred Alexandra. “It’s been a while.”
The female parasite wasted no time in draining the Girl of Steel and tightened her grip as the heroine tried to break her deadly embrace.
“L-let me go!” Supergirl shouted.
“Ah, ah, you aren’t going anywhere,” Alexandra replied gleefully. “You’re going to be a good little girl and let me do what has to be done.”
“No! I won’t...let you do this…to me…”
But her captor’s strength was already too great. Supergirl’s struggles became less and less frequent as she felt the energy and the very life force leaving her body. Her arms fell to her sides and her head dropped to her chest.
With a satisfied laugh, Alexandra tossed her prey’s defenseless form across the foot of the bed. The villainess drank in the sight of Kara’s spectacular body lying prone and inviting before her. Supergirl’s pert breasts rose and fell with each labored breath and a few wayward strands of blonde hair fell across her pretty face.
“I don’t want you too weakened,” the female parasite mused. “I want you to be awake for this because I know that there’s still some programming left in that pretty blonde head of yours.”
The villainess slowly mounted Supergirl, easily pinning her wrists together above her head. She began tenderly caressing Kara’s impossibly smooth thigh and smiled deviously as it drew slight whimper from the girl.
“You and I both know there’s still a part of you that was hoping to see me again. And I know you’re going to enjoy this almost as much as I am.”
“No…” Supergirl uttered feebly. “It’s not…true.”
“Oh, yes it is,” Alexandra retorted. “Did you forget that I also receive the memories and thoughts of the person I drain? Well, I’ve seen your thoughts, lover. And they were very naughty indeed. You desperately want this just as I do.”
Alexandra affectionately brushed away a few strands of Kara’s golden hair as she nibbled and tenderly kissed the side of her neck. Supergirl could feel the warmth against her skin and found that her own breath was quickening with each passing moment.
“As you saw earlier, I drained dear old cousin Kal and read his thoughts too,” Alexandra said quietly. “He doesn’t trust you, Kara- none of them do.”
“What? But he said—”
“Oh, I know he told you he did but he was lying to you. They all lie to you, Kara. They pretend to like you and be nice to your face but it’s all a front.”
“I…I don’t believe you,” said Supergirl, as tears began welling up in her eyes.
“No, I’m the only one you can believe. I’m the only one who’s a true friend. They all secretly hate and despise you- especially Superman. They’ll never trust you again…and can you blame them?”
“I…”
“Admit it, Kara, you enjoyed doing those awful things to your ‘friends’ didn’t you? You liked being able to let go and show your true colors. And it felt good demonstrating your power over them and watching them cower in fear. But most of all you enjoyed defeating and humiliating Superman for the way he’s treated you. Isn’t that right?”
“Yes… I mean no…” Supergirl answered, confusion lingering in her words.
“Remember how mean he was to you, Kara? Do you remember how he ordered you to hide away at the Fortress as if you were some little kid that didn’t know any better? Well, that’s because he thinks you’re weak and pathetic. I know because that’s what his thoughts told me.”
Alexandra smiled inwardly. Her deception was working perfectly. Armed with the knowledge of Kara’s memories and thoughts, all she had to do was twist them to her advantage and prey on her insecurities. This was even easier than she had hoped. The girl was biting hook, line, and sinker.
“He…he really thinks that about me?” asked Supergirl.
The female parasite nodded. “Yes, and he wishes you had never come to Earth because all you do is hold him back. You’re a huge burden to him and everyone else. Oh, if you could only see the way he laughs at you behind your back and hear the awful things he says about you.”
“Why would he do that?”
“It’s because he’s jealous of you, Kara. With you around he’s no longer the last Kryptonian. You take away from his uniqueness and he hates you for it. If he had his way, he would send you to the farthest reaches of the universe or imprison you in the Phantom Zone like some despicable criminal. But I like you, dear. Lasso Girl and I appreciate you for the powerful and vibrant young woman that you are- unlike him.”
Alexandra leaned down and pressed her soft lips against Kara’s. She kissed her lightly at first, fleetingly teasing her lower lip before slipping her warm tongue into the girl’s mouth. Supergirl slowly felt like she was losing herself to an endless dark void. Alexandra smiled as Supergirl gradually started reciprocating and kissing her back, probing the villainess’ mouth and tongue with her own.
“That’s it,” encouraged Alexandra. “Just a taste, lover.”
As the two women were locked in a passionate kiss, the female parasite’s hand crept further and further up Kara’s thigh before disappearing beneath her blue mini skirt. Her probing hand came to a stop briefly as it made contact with the girl’s silky red panties.
“Mmmm…a thong. You are a naughty girl,” Alexandra remarked, before slowly sliding the panties down to her knees. “And it looks like someone is already a little wet too.”
She then began teasing the heroine’s pussy with her fingertips, brushing them back and forth across her sensitive clit. Supergirl bit her lower lip, trying not to cry out.
“Tell me you want it,” the villainess said knowingly.
“I-I want it, Alexandra.”
The female parasite smiled triumphantly.
“Beg for it,” she commanded.
“Please…I want it so badly…” Kara whined. “Please…don’t stop.”
Without another word, the villainess plunged her middle and index fingers deep inside Supergirl’s dripping slit and began thrusting them in and out. The Girl of Steel adamantly thrust her hips back and forth, moaning loudly as Alexandra increased the speed of her pumping. It wasn’t long before Kara climaxed and sprayed her nectar all over the other’s hands. Alexandra brought her drenched fingers to her lips and slowly licked them clean.
