prepareing for war
Yawgy walked into Garys apartment looking pissed. Gary looked up from the poker game he was playing with four yacerons.
"I take it things didn't go as planed?" Gary asked.
"No. Beast boy was able to take control long enough to save Raven. tomarow we'll attack the titans hard and fast. were you studying those spells i gave you on making minons?"
"But of course fearless leader! oh and i found out a really kool trick!" Gary said.
Yawgy signed but looked over as Gary rasied the staff of merlin and making it glow with a blue light turned it into body armour like barbocks from DBZ but it was all blue.
"...Why did you do that?" Yawgy asked, sounding pained.
"Well now i can use the staffs power and don't have to worry about it being knocked out of my hands!"
"That i understand. but why in the form of that goofy armour?"
Cyborg was contracting Teen titans east for back up as Raven sat on Starfire's bed not saying anything. Robin had decided that since raven's room was kinda destoryed that she should spend the night in starfires room. Cyborg had done a hasty pacth job on the window and it wouldn't taken that long with all the titans working at it to clean up her room so she could sleep there but Robin knew that Raven shouldn't be left alone right now.
the Boy wonder was checking the compter to make sure Yawgy didn't go on a rampage and once he was convinced every thing was fine he decided to head back and check on raven.
"Robin." Cyborgs voice starlted him.
"what?" Robin asked, turning to meet his friend.
"Bumble bee says that while she wants to help, she's not gonna send all of her titans over and leave steel city unguarded."
"Makes sense. whos she sending us for help?"
"Aqualad and speedy. her and mas a yos are gonna stay."
"Good, what time are they due?"
"They'll be here in a couple of hours. don't worry, i'll let them in and every thing. go and check on raven for me."
The big man walked away towards his room as Robin shook his head and headed for starfires room.
Raven just lay there, on her side staring at the wall. Starfire tried many times to draw her into a convertion but nothing worked. in the end she turned off the lights and stirped down to her underwear and slipped into her bed and faced away from raven and tried to get some sleep.
"...Starfire?" Raven voice came out of the blue when Starfire was just about to fall asleep and make her jump.
"Yes Raven?" Starfire asked, heart beating as she turned around to face raven's back.
"What if we have to kill him? what if theirs no way to free beast boy and we have to kill him?"
Starfire bit her lip as she tired to think of a answer.
"I do not know friend. i wish i could tell you answers that would cheer you up but i can not. But i do not belive that it will come down to that. Raven your powers are hard to understand and master. You have brought people back to life and destoryed the mighty Trigon. I belive that when the time comes to free beast boy, your powers will be up to the challage."
Raven was quiet for a monement then she turned around in the bed and hugged Starfire who was a little surprized to say the least. Raven moved her head up by starfires ear.
"Thank you. but i have one more favor to ask."
"you wish to become small?" Starfire asked.
"No. I'm just used to cuddleing with someone as i fall asleep and.." Raven trailed off, blushing.
"oh...OH!" Starfire said, blushing a bit herself. "...I guess that it would not hurt. we are not going to go any furter than that any ways..."
Raven smiled and gently pushed starfire onto her back. she then curled up next to starfire, rest her head on starfire chest with her arms wraped around starfire. starfire smiled and wraped one arm around raven and stoked raven hair with the other till both girls were asleep.
Robin wasn't in the nature of walking in uninvated but had decided to do it this time anyways. he only took a quick peek in starfires room but got a shock for his trouble. seeing the girls cuddling like that put some thoughts into robins head that made 'little' robin wanna come out. shuting the door and heading for his room at top speed robin could only wonder what had happened in there.
