Chapter 3

Beast Boy woke up to find he was in a cell “what the fuck am I doing in here” thought Changeling with a growl, he was trapped in a cage an animal worst fear for him. and for what Basic instincts that he couldn’t control he then heard the doors open, he turned to see Cyborg there hold what Beast Boy assumed was tofu, “hey BB” said Cyborg with a stutter in his voice out of fear or worry if Beast Boy was mad at him. Cyborg slid the food into the cell then stood waiting by the door for an answer “why.” Said Beast Boy with a growl “you hurt Robin,” said Cyborg causing Beast Boy to smile as a voice in his head confirming his fears and worries.

Outside the two titans were looking over the blood work that they took while Beast Boy was under. “interesting.” Said Robin examining the note “his testosterone is through the roof,” “so is that bad?” asked Raven not knowing that much about biology “I don’t know,” said Robin “Beast Boy always refused blood test in the past.” Said Robin reading the notes “I will send them to Gotham in the morning” Robin then clutched his wrist as the cut started to bleed, Raven walked over to him looking down at his wrist proceeded to remove the bloody Goss “I don’t why he attacked you.” Said Raven applying the Goss on the wound “I did nothing,” said Robin “all I wanted to do is check on him incase he became the beast again.” “Ok,” said Raven in her monotone voice. After finishing up they heard noises coming from the other room.

“Get a hold of yourself BB.” Said Cyborg as he trying to release the grip Gar had on him. Gar didn’t move but tightened his Grip on Cyborg shoulder causing cracking noise “I don’t like being shot,” snarled Gar as he proceeded to twist Cyborg’s arm “then you insult me by placing me in a cage,” “Beast Boy, calm down,” said Robin, instinctively Gar let go of Cyborg then turning to Robin letting out a laugh, “Beast Boy is gone,” said Gar “I have embraced my animal side I am the Animal Man.” “Animal Man,” repeated Raven looking at Gar with concern for him and the rest of the team. “why did you attack Cyborg?” asked Robin pulling out a set of birdarangs. “don’t jump to conclusions Robin” snarled Gar “I want out now.” “not until the tests are done,” said Cyborg popping his shoulder back in place. Gar looked on his arms and noticed the circular bandage on his arm, feeling a surge off emotion he started thrashing in the cell Growling and making inhuman noises the seem to frighten the titans especially Raven who felt sorry for the changeling.

The next day the test arrive all normal. “what,” said Robin looking over the notes “what about his change,” “it could be puberty.” Said Cyborg reading the notes “who’s letting him out,” both boys looked frighten of the idea of releasing a piss off Garfield back into the tower, “fine I will let him out if you two are afraid.” Cyborg tossed the keys and followed slowly behind, they watched as the door opened and Gar steeped out into the light, Raven noticed his eyes were different in a way the seem more vicious yet almost inviting to her. He walked over to robin and looked him in the eyes and growled a deep menacing growl.

The rest of the day was quiet for Cyborg he was working his car recalibrating the engine, when he closed the hood to find Gar couched down on the roof of the Car “get off my Car” said Cyborg in his usual playful manner. “You could have let me out,” Said Gar as he slid off the roof “why didn’t you?” Cyborg looked at his friend with concern and fear for what he might do. “Look Robin thought you might be a danger to other people.” Said Cyborg as he watched Gar crack his neck to relieve pressure that was building up “dude, did he say anything else.” Asked Gar trying to control his anger, “I don’t know,” said Cyborg taking a pause to pull out some polish and a cloth to clean the roof “he spent most of his time with Raven.”

Gar thought about it more it wasn’t over between Raven and Robin, and then his mind envisioned different scenarios about the couple while he was out in his coma. Then a strange feeling of jealousy towards Robin, he saw him in a different light he saw him as a potential threat to him and to Raven which in his eyes was his love, his one, his mate. “Humans,” muttered Garfield under a growl “they need to know their place in my kingdom.” Then Garfield left to solve his problem.

The Changeling walked the halls until he saw him standing there ready to fight wearing a VR suit, his eyes were now fixed as Gar looked at Robin with pure hate. He walked toward him ignoring the outside world he stepped in the room were the VR helmet was, he in his care free days couldn’t use it because Robin was afraid he might damage it and the parts were hard to find. He could see him kicking the foes that the suit provided, when Gar wrapped his hand around a wire leading to the helmet and pulled waking Robin out of his Cyber induced Reality.

“What’s wrong with you?” Snapped Robin as he took off the helmet, “Stay away from her,” Snapped Gar “or I will do something worse.” Robin laughed at that comment until a fist collided with his head. “You must know your place.” Said Gar as he tossed Robin in the hall. “What are you talking about?” Said Robin as he rolled on to his feet. “I am the leader of the titans and you will listen to me.” Robin then punched Gar making him stagger a bit “You’re a pest,” said Gar as he pushed him into a wall, “I am the king of the animals and you’re just a spec on the human Race.” “I don’t have to hear a prick like you and your superiority complex.” Said Robin kicking Gar causing him to bleed from the mouth, “you prick,” snarled Gar as he tossed Robin into the near by wall. “I hate you, I always wanted to be in charge but you made me the fool that fucks up most of the time.” Garfield then tried to punch him but Robin ducked causing Gar’s Fist to get stuck in the wall. Gar then pulled hard trying to get it loose while Robin decided to throw a shock bomb towards the Changeling causing the Green man to convulse and drop to his knees, the shock also released his arm the wall as he stood to face Robin “that’s the best you can do,” said Gar with a laugh “shock me like a unruly dog, did you ever feel sorry for the dog.” Just then Gar turned into a Husky and started to snarl at Robin. Robin stood there looking in his eyes waiting for something then Gar lunged at him changing back to human halfway through the air catching Robin by surprise and causing him to slip up.

Raven was meditating when something disturbed her from her mantra like something was breaking the energy of the group but it seemed More violent, ‘something’s wrong’ thought Raven as she headed to the living main room, when something caught her eye. It was Garfield Dragging something in a bag down the hall “Gar,” questioned Raven “is Robin in there” Gar looked at the bag and smiled “we're going swimming.” Said Gar with an evil smirk across his face “want to watch your boyfriend die?” Raven’s eyes glowed as she sent him into the wall he then looked at her like he had hurt him.

Then a voice entered his head “take her now.” said the voice and Silently Gar walked towards Raven obeying the voice then stopping “no,” Gar shouted as he shook his head “I will not listen to you and your annoying plans.” Gar then punched the wall to relive the storm in his head Gar then walked past her as she was untying bag that contained Robin. When she looked at him she saw the damage that Gar had done to him but why “hey Raven” said Cyborg as he was headed down the main hall. “Have you seen Gar Around?” Cyborg then looked down at Robin who at the time was trying to stand up holding his bloody head “did Gar do this?” Raven nodded as a look of guilt flooded his face. “did you and Gar talked earlier?” asked Raven as she watch Cyborg nod his head “what about.” “he just wanted to know what you were doing while he was in solitary.” Said Cyborg “he has issues,” stated Robin as he stood leaning up against the wall “I want him out of here.” “no,” stated Raven looking at the small man “your not taking him away,” “look it not like last time.” Said Robin shuttering at the last time something came up between them. “You’re a bad liar.” Said Raven as she left the room,

Gar stood in his room pacing back and forth mainly trying to find a way to talk to her when a knock woke him from his train of thought. “I’m Busy” snarled Gar as he continued pacing “look I said I was busy” Gar the reached the door and opened it to find Raven standing there “look, I you want an apology for what happened It won’t happen.” “Listen Gar,” said raven “I need to tell you what happened while you were in your coma.”

Author notes: there will be reprecussion for Gar's actions, also anyone know about Animal man and the Titans of tomorrow that would help me a lot
