“ENTER!” shouts a mysterious voice. The dojo doors open, revealing a femine shadow. “APPROACH US!” The sultry figure obeyed and walked towards the shrine.
“Now, Karai, tells us how your last trip went,” the voice asked.
She went into detail about Max Winters, his immortality, the stine generals, the capture of the beasts, and the most interesting part, the return of the Turtles.
“So, Winters could not take immortality. Clearly the mighty warlord of the past was unworthy.”
“Does the return of the Turtles not faze you?”
“They were a thorn in my side in the past. Now, a mere afterthought. It is their bond with the girl that concerns me.”
“How so?”
“She alone gives the Turtles a reason to bother with the city. It is not pizza or games or the need to do right. She gave them a reason to leave the sewers. Her bond is as important to them as much as the rat's is. Remove her, and you'll remove them from our plans.”
“Would you have me send someone to take care of her, or do you ask of me to do so?”
“Though our Foot soldiers could get to her easily since their identies are covered, I would like it if you went.” The voice hidden in the veil of the shrine moved towards a table and grabbed a vial. “I have in my hand an experimental elixer I recieved from a new accomplice name Baxter Stockman.” He threw the vial at Karai and she caught it without glancing at it. “If it works, O'Neil will become a slave for the Foot Clan. If it does not, O'Neil will die. No matter what, the result will favour us. Do whatever it takes to break her.
