Mikey paused in his tracking of the mousers at a scream further down the tunnels. "Anybody else hear that?"

Donny paused too hearing it as well, then the sound of water splashing and running, he looked to where the sounds came. "I did" he said glancing back at his other two siblings seeing his sister "Lets go check it out" she said "It sounds like someone's running from those things.”

Her brother's nodded and they hurried in the direction that the noise was coming from.

April glanced fearfully back seeing her now ex bosses creations the mousers chasing her, she quickly looked ahead running as fast as she could manage in the murky waters. her heart went a 100 miles an hour as she prayed to every god or goddess she knew of hoping she'd escape this alive. She skidded to a halt when she came to a dead end in the pipe.

She mumbled a curse whipping around facing the on coming horde of robots, she knew it was her end she backed up slipping falling on her butt seeing more and more emerge. she looked back at the wall behind her looking again wishing that somehow an exit would appear. She looked back to the bots, and covered her face with a hand as she closed her eyes.

Then she heard the sounds of the bots being destoyed and she opened her eyes to four siloheted figures.

One leaned closer curious "Oh thank you!" she said relived that she wasn't being torn apart by the bots. she blinked in shock seeing one of the figures a littler better seeing it was green and wore an orange mask.

She stared him him. "I must be dreaming, saved by giant turtles." She passed out from shock.

Mikey blinked walking closer hefting her up in his arms before turning to his siblings "So.. can we keep her?" he asked grinning making leo roll her eyes.

"Let's take her back to the lair, she was chased by those robots, maybe she knows something about them." Leo said, rolling her eyes again at Mikey's grin.

"Cool so we CAN keep her" he said as they headed for home, donny paused picking up a remaining mouser going to examine, he followed after his siblings

"I never said we're keeping her Mikey." Leo said sternly.

"Ah come on leo, it be neat to have another girl in the house" said mikey cradling the woman in his arms "Sides maybe we could talk her inta staying"

Leo shook her head as she walked. After some walking they made it back to their new home, mikey walked in heading for the living room placing the woman on the couch delicatly, "Now all we have to do is wait for her to wake up" said mikey going over to a chair on the otherside of the couch flicking on the TV putting its volume on low.

"I'll go inform Master Splinter of what happened." Leo said, and headed for the rats room.

Raph watched donny head for his lab somewhat giddy from finding an almost whole mouser, raph shook his head going over to the couch as well looking the woman over having never seen a human woman up close before, he had only seen leo and leo was a pain in the ass. He grumped, still annoyed over being led by a shelling girl, it just wasn't right.

Mikey looked up hearing raph "What's the matter raphy mad again cause leo still boss?" asked mikey hitting it on the mark knowing his brother pretty well. Raph growled and glared at the other turtle, grabbing a pillow and smacking him quite solidly with it.

"OW!" whined mikey rubbing his head where the pillow had hit him, pouting at his brother. "No need to beat me up since your jealous of leo being boss, geeze"

"Then quit pointing it out!" Raph growled and crossed his arms.

"Then stop being jealous" said mikey pointing at raph, leo and splinter walked out of his room, leo walked a few paces behind their father.

Raph waved another pillow at the younger turtle. Mikey eeped preparing to duck if need be, he looked down hearing the woman groan stirring from her sleep.

"Hey dudes! I think she's waking up!" He said, jumping out of the chair. Donny poked his head from his lab walking over as the three male turtles and one female gathered around curious about the human.

April blinked open her eyes. "Oooh, I had the weirdest dream...." She looked up seeing the group of mutants and seeing mikey grin and wink at her. She stared at them. Mikey leaned down close. "Hi!" He said April screamed, making Mikey scream and jump back as well.

"Geeze no need to scream" said mikey "We aren't gonna hurt ya" April grabbed the pillow and put it over her head. "I must be dreaming, yes, dreaming..."

"Maybe you should pinch yourself" said mikey grinning, before splinter walked forward "Young lady, you are far from dreaming" he said, April just stared at him

"You're a...a...a..." April fainted away.. Leo slapped her forehead. "This isn't going well..." Donny sighed. "Hey! We don't have any experience talking to humans!" Mikey whined.

Leo watched as mikey poked her on the arm trying to make her wake up again, "Mikey leave her alone" said leo, mikey looked up pouting at leo "Aww.. but she's so pokeable" he answered "go listen to your music player" she said

Mikey sulked. "Fine, you don't have to get all pissy at me." He mumbled, and went grabbed his ipod, flopping in the chair again to listen to his music. Leo could guess how the woman would feel being poked awake, mikey tapped out a beat on his plastron listing to something with a beat, as don headed back to his lab again. Raph rolled his eyes at leo's bossyness.

"So whata we do now?" Raph asked gruffly.

"Wait i guess" said leo taking a seat by splinters chair "she'll wake up in due time" Raph grumbled and leaned against a pillar as he crossed his arms. After a few moments the woman roused again, leo stayed seated watching her sit up again.

"Leonardo, go make the young woman some tea, perhaps that will help." Splinter said. Leo nodded getting up heading to the kitchen to make some tea, 'lets hope she doesn't spit out the tea screaming again.'

"Oh man, not this Again." April muttered, rubbing at her eyes.

"Ms. I assure you we are not a dream" said splinter, April looked at him then at raph who just stared back, she sighed going over her thoughts jumping when leo tapped her on the shoulder holding out a tea cup.

"Here, maybe this'll help calm you." Leo said, offering the steaming cup to the woman.

April nodded taking it, leo walked back over taking a seat again as April took a sip of the warm tea.

Raph moved over. "Hey Mikey, earth to doofus."

Mikey opened his eyes pulling his earphones off "Yeah?" he asked

"Come on, the woman woke up again, Leo made her some tea, and she looks ready to hear us out this time."

"Awesomely radical dude" said mikey grinning, placing his MP3 player down.

Raph rolled his eyes. "Keep talking like that and she's liable to pass out again." He said heading back to the others. Mikey stuck his tounge out at raph's back before following after him to see the woman. Raph came to stand on the otherside of Splinter, crossing his arms again.

Mikey walked over standing near her "So you okay now?" he asked seeing her sip her tea

"I think so, this is either real, or some really weird dream that I'm not waking up from..." April replied.

"Young woman we have something most important to discuss,” said splinter from his chair, "What is it?" asked April looking at him

Donny walked over from his lab again. "Before you, we had not exposed ourselves to the outside world, you leave us in quite the situation." Splinter said.

"But sensei she was in trouble and we helped her" protested Leo "Yeah don't you tell us to do the right thing?" asked raph. "As you grow older you will learn there are many ways to do the right thing" answered splinter looking at his son and daughter.

Splinter sighed. "But there is nothing we can do now about the current situation." He said and looked to April. "We are at your mercy." He said.

"Oh I would never tell any body, I mean who would believe me?" she said, "She does have a point,” said Donny.

"But who are you guys, where did you come from?" April asked. "I believe it is best I tell our tale from the beginning." Splinter said telling her the tale of how they came to be mutants.

"Together they are" said splinter "Turtles forever!" the four turtles yelled high threeing each other, "Or something like that we all yell at once" said mikey. "First rule ignore mikey, it'll make your life much easier" said raph to April sitting next to her.

"But wait, how did you know ninjistu?" April asked. "That...is a story for another time." Splinter said.

"Hey guys look at this!" said mikey as he looked at the TV "And the police are completely baffled by the staring bank robbery boldly executed in broad daylight, if anyone has any information please call the police hotline." said a woman's voice from the TV "So anybody wanna take a wild guess what did this?" asked mikey

"The mousers." April said getting up from the couch and walking over to the TVs.

"Mousers?" asked leo "They are my ex bosses creations" she said "he turned them on me when I became supsious"

"And looks like he's graduated to banks now." April said. "They destroyed our home." Mikey said sadly.

"That must have been one of the mouser test runs" she said turning back to them "But that was our home,” said mikey.

"What are we waiting for lets go shut down mouser central permeantly" Raph said with a growl, drawing his sai’s and crossing them.

"Ha, I just love those action movie lines you write those yourself?" asked mikey. "It won't be easy stocktronics is rigged with the latest up to the minitue security tech" said April tapping her chin in thought rembering the security systems. "Peh bring it on allow me to introduce our very own secret weapon the techno turtle himself Donatello! Take a bow don!" said mikey grinning

Donny looked embarrassed. "Aw, cut it out." He said with a nervous chuckle.

"Can we go PLEASE?" said raph impatient to get some action in.

Leo rolled her eyes at him. "Let's get going." She said.

"I'll lead the way I know where the sewer entrance is" said April heading out first the turtles followed after her. The five headed out of the lair following after April.

April crawled through the vent with the turtles wincing at how cramped it was raph opened the vent, letting them peek out "There's a computer terminal in that lab, get me in and I can make a blank spots in the security systems and you can get into doctor stockman's main lab" said April. "Don't look now we already have a blank spot here,” said raph pointing at mikey before jumping out of the vent.

"Heeeeyyy!" Mikey said, mildly glaring at his brother, the others following out of the pipe. Raph went over to the door picking its lock with his sai; it clicked open letting them in. April went over to one of the computers and sat down starting into the system.

"Okay I’m in, I’m blanking the camera along that corridor for 10 minute intervals" said April "So you have to keep moving" "Got it, we'll be back soon" said leo

"Good..." April glanced back to see them gone already. "Wow they are good" she commented, the foursome ran down the hallways quickly heading for stockman's main lab. They entered a sliding doorway, which closed behind them.

"Uh guys my turtle sense is tingling" said mikey looking around the dark room. The lights flickered on "Intruders! Here to steal my secrets! You will leave here with nothing not even your lives,” said stockman over the speakers. "What on earth are you? Hmm I suppose I’ll have to dissect you to find out" he hit a button making a laser come down and shoot at them

The turtles all spilt up, dodging the laser blasts. Mikey eeped dodging lasers, as leo rolled off to the side dodging before coming to raph's aid "Raph heads up!" she said blocking the laser blast with her katan’s.

Leo managed to deflect it back to the gun, destroying it. Donny leaped up onto one of the lasers, and turned it, destroying others.

He reached in finding the right wire disconnecting it; the laser twisted knocking him off, don landed with easy, the laser twisted around exploding.

Don dodged debris as Raph and Leo cheered, and Stockman yelled in annoyance. The group started heading closer to where stockman was Donny grabbed his Bo as they ran. "Impossible!" said stockman moving the joystick on the control panel in front of him moving the laser to fire at them.

The turtles ducked, but Raph ran up the front, and underneath the control station. "Hey Mikey! Catapult!" He yelled at the younger turtle.

Mikey ran over to raph being thrown up in the air, he gripped on the window that stockman stood behind before breaking it getting in making the human stumble back and fall on his butt.

The other three turtles quickly followed jumping in. Leo pointed one of her katanas at Stockman. "Stockman, your reign of terror is over!" She said.

"You've been practicing that?" asked mikey smiling placing a hand on leo's shoulder "You like it?" asked leo "Yeah just grit your teeth a little more" mikey showed her “Like this” leo nodded "What are you?" asked stockman looking at them

"They're with me." April said stepping off the elevator.

"April your alive!" said stockman "and kicking, I’ve got enough evidence to put you away for years stockman" said April

Stockman moved quickly to press a button the control panel. Raph grabbed stockman by his lab coat growling, "That’s enough,” he said "ha too late, I’ve recalled the mousers from their latest mission they'll be here any second, they'll tear you to pieces" said stockman

"Listen." Stockman sneered as doors below opened, revealing the returning mousers. Donny and April quickly moved to the panel.

"April now’s the time" said leo as she and mikey peeked out the door way "The system isn't responding!" said April typing trying to get in the system

"Hey! He's getting away!" Mikey shouted as Baxter got to the elevator.

"let him go, we got bigger problems" said raph as the mousers made it up to there level surrounding them, "At least we'll go out fighting" said raph "I don't wanna go out at all!" said mikey looking around at the mousers.

April and Donny continued to work frantically to find a way. "Well, it's been fun guys." Raph said.

"Even me raph?" asked mikey "Even you mikey, speically you" said the red masked turtle, as April and donny typed, April hit a button making all the mousers freeze in place.

The three turtles stared at them. Leo drew one of her katanas, and poked a mouser with it, before she and Mikey grinned when it didn't move.

The teens cheered giving high threes, "Good job April! i've never seen anything like that!" said donny. mikey picked up one of the mousers "loser!" he taunted. "Uh guys i wasn't able to shut them down" said April "heh they look pretty shut down to me" said mikey knocking on the one in his hands "The only way i could stop them was inteating a over load sequence" added April. Mikey dropped the mouser he was holding "In other words...

Lets get out of here!" said mikey.

The group quickly headed out of the control place, Donny jumping down carrying April, before they dashed to the otherside of the room just intime as the mousers exploded.

The group seemed to share a sigh of relief, before starting back to the lair.

Back at the lair everyone picked up the cups of hot tea off the tray. On TV the woman newscaster drowned on about how preplexed the police were, "What will you do now Ms. O'neil? you are most defiently out of a job" said splinter "I'm not exactly sure" said April

Mikey perked up. "She could stay here! Give Leo another female to chat with." He grinned. Leo choked on her tea at that.

Donny looked leo's way seeing her recover from her choking reaching over to give mikey a smack, "ow! it was only a suggestion sis!" he said rubbing the back of his head where leo's hand had made contact.

"I don't need another female to chat with." Leo snapped, hating when her bros treated as like not one of the guys.

Mikey winced seeing he had pissed off leo, even since they found out her gender when she was 5 leo had been treated somewhat diffrent and she hated it wishing they had never discovered her gender.

"Ok ok, ok, sheesh, take a chill pill Leo." Mikey said, still rubbing his head.

She still glared at him not saying anything, raph had to give leo some credit she could really smack mikey hard when she wanted. April hid a cringe feeling a little sorry for leo since she was obviously a tomboy and didn't want to be treated femminely. Leo sipped her tea again as Splinter shook his head at his children.

"Uh how about a cheer for our new team?" asked mikey holding out his tea cup. The rest of the group, including Leo, held their cups aloft and cheered for the new team member.

After that donny started to talk to April about sceience and what things she had seen at stocktronics. leo smiled at that happy donny had someone to talk nerdy with, she took another sip of her tea watching the group celebrate, mikey and raph yammered together happyily mikey teased raph jokingly playing. Leo moved over to Splinter starting to talk to him. Little did the happy group know their lives were only going to get much harder after this, leo and splinter both seemed to pause feeling some odd sense of foreboding.
