Chapter 2 "Karai."looking into her bright green eyes without a thought, releasing the woman's hands as he stepped back, allowing her a chance to breath. Positioning himself back on his futon, Leo continued to stare down the women, watching her breath slow to a normal pace. His curiosity was getting the better of him while he sat there waiting for her to talk to him. Knowing she had to answer him sometime, she finally decided to tell him her reasons for being there at this hour. Karai opened her mouth, but the words seemed to fail her, thoughts lingered to what she would say to him and make him believe that she is not there to hurt him. Leo's heart began to quicken with the very thought that any moment his brothers would investigate and see her in his room. Shrugging off that idea, Leonardo again looked into her green eyes, getting ready to ask her why she was there.
"Karai why are you here?" silence fell on the room once more. Leo could tell she was avoiding his question by the way she looked away from him. " < I'm not here to hurt you or your brothers Leonardo-San>." silence came again but was broken by her words " < I know you understand me. > "
" < Yes. > "
" < Then you believe me when I say that Iâm not here to hurt you. > "
" " his words came like a roll of thunder as his eyes narrowed staring her down. Suddenly she became very aware that if he had the power, a stare like that would surly burn a hole in her soul. Placing a gentle hand on his forearm she tenderly looks at him. His stare started to calm, until finally he, too, was looking at her tenderly.
" < If I were here to kill you, I would have done it already. > " this was enough to bring a small smile to Leonardo's face. As much as he didn't want to admit it he knew that she was telling the truth.
"< Then why are you here?> "
" < to warn you.> "
"< Of what?> "
" you realize.> "
Shock filled every nerve in his body, his words fail, his body shook with anger and fear for his family. Karai could see this change in Leo's eyes once more. She placed a hand on his forearm but to Leo's surprise she began to lightly rub his arm with her thumb, a sudden look came to her face. They sat in the same position for what seemed like hours. No words were spoken during this time, none were needed. There was something about what she said, that gave him a sour feeling in his stomach. Maybe it was the idea that he may lose his family, or maybe it was that he believed karai.

Oroko Saki sat at his desk, waiting for his second in command to arrive. His patience was wearing thin for him. This night, not only was his adopted daughter missing, but his project was far from being complete. His office was like any other office, except for the Japanese wall covers and weapons hanging on the walls. His house resembled a Japanese style home, but was quite large for a humble immigrant who had come to America 17 years ago, who, unknown to the people in this sleepy city, the man they know as Oroko Saki, is the same as the crime lord the Shredder. Shredder waited with great patience, his eyes darted from the book he was reading, to the door, then back to the book again. Finally having enough of the waiting, Shredder slammed the book shut. Pushing back on his chair, he stood and turned to the door, walking slowly a knock came from the other side of the door. Shredder paused and waited for another knock, which came in more haste. " Am I disturbing you master? " a tall burly man said from the crack of the door.Â Â The man named Hun entered the room. He was tall, his muscles bulged threw his shirt and pants on his left arm a large tattoo of a purple dragon stood out against his pain skin. Hun looked around and finally found his master standing in the shadow near his desk. Finally moving into the light, Hun can now see the full features of his master's body. He was a small man, at least small to his 7'4 figure, thin and pale white skin, he had dark black hair, his cloths were made of silk, and were a kimono style. His master's face was tense, eyes fixed on the man that just walked in. Hun could feel the pressure of his master's eyes burning a hole into him. His first response was to lower his, but instead pushed that thought aside as he looked his master in the eyes giving the impression that he was not intimidated by his boss' anger.
" I hope for your sake Hun, that you have come to bring me good news."This comment made Hun lower his eyes to the floor.
" I'm sorry to say master, that we have not been able to find Karai." He said with a lower tone to his voice. This was enough for his master to make him, with all his force, pound his clinched fist to his table breaking it into two pieces. This act of aggression caused Hun to take 2 steps back avoiding the flying fragments of desk flying toward him. Before he knew what was going on Shredder was standing a foot in front of him. He grabbed Hun by his shirt and lifted him off the ground with one arm. Without any hesitation the mans boss flung him across the room were he landed on top of the broken desk. Slowly Hun stood, but his eyes were met by his masters once more, anger rocked the mans face.
" You and your men will continue the search, Hun, and you will stop at nothing until you find karai."
" Yes master. "
" Do not fail me again, Hun, or next time I will not be so merciful. "
" Yes I understand." His pause came for only a moment, but was stopped by his next set of words, which he knew had to be good for he did not want to be punished by his master again. " Master I do have some good news, the project to get rid of the turtles is almost complete."
" Very good. Tell Mr. Stockmen and Chapman to continue as scheduled. "
" Yes master." with that, Hun stood and slowly bowed to his master, then turned and walked to the door. Â Once gone Shredder turned to the fire in his fireplace a small smile came to his features. His thoughts were only on one thing. Finally he will get his revenge on the turtles and their rat master. Then no one would be able to stop his plans.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A loud crash was heard from in the living room. Raph paused the game that he and his brother were playing, and listened to hear more. Don and Mikey also heard the disturbance and also waited to see if the sound came again. Again the sound of trouble could be heard from their brothers room, but instead of waiting Raph, Don, and Mikey ran to see what the trouble was. Quickly they ran to the stairs, leaping the stairs all together, they raced to their brothers room. Raphael did not hesitate to pound on the door; his bothers voice came soon after his assault.
" What!? " Leonardo barked form the other side.
" We heard a crash bro. What's going on in there? " Raphael's face turned red with frustration. He knew something was wrong, his brother's room was always quiet this time of night, so not to disturb Master Splinters rest.
" Nothing is wrong I just....tripped over my nightstand that's all. "
" Then you wouldn't care that we come in? " Donatello asked softly.
On the other side of the door Leonardo stood in terror. He just knew that he was going to get caught, and it was that woman's entire fault, he thought to himself. Turning around, he looked to see that the young woman was no longer there. Straining his eyes, he could not see where she had gone. Good maybe she's gone for good, he thought to himself but, instead of staying angry at her, he shook the idea from his head and thought that maybe that wasn't such a good thing to think. He needed her to tell him what the hell was going on, and why is his family in so much trouble. Again a loud rap came to the door and again voices came from the other side of the door.
" Yo bro. we're coming in whether you like it or not. " his brother Raph's voice could be heard first. The door cracked open to reveal all three of his brothers, standing at the door looking at there eldest brother on the floor night stand tipped over the candle which once was burning, was now out from the fall. The three bothers stood there for a few moments, then the sound of silence was broken by sudden out burst of laughter. The laughter stopped when Leo stood and gave them a stern look. Raph couldn't help but look away, staring at the ceiling, his other two brothers stared at the floor ignoring each others small snickers behind their hands.
" Are you three quite done now, because I would like to get back to my book, plus I have a mess to clean? "
" Just as long as you're ok, Leo " Mikey said again, giggling behind his hand.
" Yes I'm fine. "
Leaving all at once, the three brothers went back to their game and things went back to the way they were. Sighing hard, Leonardo turned back to the night stand, picking it back up. He turned his attention to the candle reaching for the ground were the candle was. Leo noticed that it was not in the place it had fell, in fact it was no were in sight. Reaching around for the candle, Leo could now see a dim light shine from the back of the room. There he noticed the candle was now lit and was positioned on his writing table. Just then a shadow came into the light there sat Karai legs folded in a lotus position arms, folded over her chest only half of her face can be seen from the light of the candle and from what Leo can tell it was a look of surprise on her delicate face. She only stared at him for a time wondering why he lied to his family about her being there. Her curiosity was soon answered when the silence was broken by her own voice asking him one simple question." Why? "
" I didn't think it any of their business to know why you're here in my room Karai."
" Thank you Leonardo- San. "
"For what. "
" For seeing what a true friend you are." with that Karai walked over to Leonardo bent down and kissed him on the cheek. Leo could feel the heat come to his face he knew that even though it was on the cheek that was the first kiss he had ever received from a human women or from any female for that matter. Turning his head away from her, Leo touched his face and confirmed that he was in fact blushing heavily in his cheeks. Noticing Leonardo's uneasiness, Karai turned back to the table. There she again sat, and waited for her host to speak. When no answer came right away Karai turned to see the parchment that laid on the table on it were marks of her native language. It amused her that, not only was he fluent in speaking Japanese, but he also knew how to read and write it as well. Feeling that she was not going to get a response from him she decided to start a conversation herself. Lifting her eyes from the parchment she could clearly see her host sitting on the futon hands still covering his cheeks. Karai could not help but giggle. Never had she seen anyone be so taken by a harmless kiss on the cheek. Karai was flattered by that idea.
Down stairs chanting could be heard by Leonardo's younger brothers , not only was the game getting interesting for them but the music now playing in the back ground could be heard by everyone in the lair and maybe by the hole city. Â In his room splinter's eyes snapped open to the loud sound. Shakily he got to his feet, limping as he walked to his walking stick. Opening the door to his room the sound of the music got louder. Splinter could take it no longer. Walking over to the radio, Splinter turned the music off with the touch of the end of his stick . His face wrenched with pain from the noise and the anger he held for his sons' noise. Seeing that their master was angry the three bothers stopped their game once again and waited for their masters words.
" What have I told you about loud music at this hour? "
" Sorry master." they all replied at once. A long pause came but was then broken by the voice of there youngest brother " we just wanted to listen some tunes while playing our game master splinter. "
Their masters face grew even more annoyed at this comment. All three knew that they were in a lot of trouble for what they did. Bowing there heads they could see there fathers frustration build from inside of him. Patiently they waited for their punishment, but when none came, they lifted their heads to see their master walking to his room. Stopping just short of the door their master turned to them, once again they bowed their head in shame. A sad look overcame their fathers face. He knew they meant well, but he had to punish them somehow. Giving one last sigh, Splinter shook his head.He knew what had to be done, even though he knew they we almost adults,and can no longer be punished like children, but had to be treated like adults. His heart filled with sadness at this thought.
" You three will begin practice 2 hours early tomorrow morning."
" But master..." all three whined in unison.
" You will do as I say, is that clear? "
" Yes master. "
With that, their master turned once more to his room, this time not stopping to see the faces of his sons. Once inside his room and his door shut behind him, Splinter once again turned back to his bed. Setting his walking stick to its normal spot, he gingerly walked to his bed. There he sat in his normal meditation position, and drifted into a relaxing state.
Outside their masters door, Mikey and Don decided to do something else with their time. Mikey went to the kitchen and started to make something to eat for all of them. Donny went back to tinkering. He figured that he had put it off for long enough, while Raph leaned against a pillar not far from Don, twirling his Sai's in his hands. Â Angered at his masters punishment, Raphael threw one of his Sai's at the once playing radio, causing it to burst into sparks. Looking up from what he was doing, Donatello shook his head at his brother's action. He knew what ever his brother broke, he had to fix. Hearing his brothers noise, Mikey quickly came out of the kitchen to see what had happened, only to see a Sai embedded into the radio speaker and his brother laying out on the couch watching TV. Mikey then turned around and walked back to the kitchen, continuing to work on the snack for them. Rising off his chair, Donatello slowly walked over to the once radio and removed the Sai the was implanted into the speaker, then turned to his brother on the couch. He then moved to him and handed him his Sai.
" I believe this is yours. "
" Yeah, thanks. "
No other words were said, none were needed. Instead Donny just turned away and went back to his desk to tinker some more. On the television, Raph watched, like always at this time, watched the rest of the news. Then turned it to the late shows. On the news the 2 anchormen talked about the savior of the city, Oroko Saki, and how his plans to rebuild time square would start Monday morning, and that the cost for the construction would be over a hundred billion US dollars. Both were in agreement that not only was he a savior, but a hero to the city of New York. This made every inch of Raph's body shake in anger. He could feel his face burn red. Without a thought Raph leaped over the couch, throwing his Sai. As he did, the sai plunged deep into the punching bag. Without even retrieving the Sai from its point, Raphael leaps on the top landing then storms into his room, slamming the door shut behind him. Once again lifting his head from his work, Donny notices the Sai in the punching bag and decides not to retrieve it this time. Raph's anger could be heard from up stairs as it was being taken out on the equipment in his room. Looking up for only a second, Donatello sighs slowly then returns back to his work. Moments later, Mikey slowly comes out of the kitchen with oven mitts on his hands, and a hot casserole plate in between them. Mikey's eyes widened as he looked around to only see him and his one brother in the same room. " Well I guess it's just us for a snack the." Donatello could not help but laugh at his brother's comment.
" Yeah Raph got pissed at the reporters on the news and took his anger out on the punching bag again."
" Oh man that's like the fifth time this week."
"I know I'm the one who had to put the patches on remember."
" Oh yeah you cussed out Raph for that."
Turning his attention to the plate one sitting on the table Donny could smell the delicious aroma of a casserole under the glass lid. Helping himself to some of the casserole both Donny and mike sat quietly and ate there snack .once they were finished Mikey and don made up a plate up for both Leo and Raph Mikey headed toward Raph's room were Donny headed to Leo's room once Mikey was by Raph's door he quietly a sound from the other side could be heard. Finally throwing open the door Raph's face still angered by the television grabs the plate from Mikey in one hand and slams the door shut with the other. Mikey's only response to it was his tongue sticking out at the door. Before mike could pull his put his tongue back in its right place the door once again opened with Raph standing right behind it.
"I saw that" he barked he paused for a moment then continued " and thanks for the grub bro " his voice came gentler this time
Mikey only smile then turned back to the stairs once there he jumped down walking a few steps to the couch before turning to see Raph close his door without a sound. Another smile came to Mikey's face as he turned to the couch .he could still hear Donny making an attempt to get his older brother to come to the door. After once last attempt the door slowly opened up reveling Leo on the other side. Leo's eyes adjusted to the light of the outside, once adjusted Leo could see his brother's features and in his hand the plate of food. Donatello could see that Leo face was flushed and that he was breathing a little heavier then usual.
" I brought food I thought you might want to eat" his long pause was irrupted by a sudden cough by his older brother "are you alright Leo? "
"Yeah I'm fine " his answer came quickly
" Thanks " taking the food Leo shut the door then returned to his quest. The room was once again dark but his eyes could plainly see a shadow standing in the corner. Walking to the table a sudden light came on shining the back of the room there his quest was sitting by the table waiting to see what Leo had brought in. placing the food on the desk he nodded to his female companion to eat what she can and he will eat the rest later. Nodding back to Leo Karai picked up the fork and began to eat the food in front of her. Satisfied with her eating Leo again sat at the edge of his futon watching her eat. He could not but help to notice that she eat like bird barley putting any food on her fork and taking small bites at a time. This made him wonder if all human women ate like this the urge to ask was getting the better of him, opening his mouth to say something to her Leo could see now that the words he was trying to say escaped him only a faint sound was heard from his vocal cords. Stopping her eating Karai looked into the eyes of her host she could see something was bothering him; this was the chance for her to talk to him about the shredders plans.
" The shredder plans on destroying all of you Leonardo San "
" How? "
" I do not know I only know that he was making plans with the man named Baxter stockmen "
" Stockmen "
" Yes you know him "
" We fought him before don said he's is a few bricks shy of a full load "
" What dose this few bricks shy of a full load mean "
" it means he's crazy " a long pause then Leo continued with his words " I'm not worried his plans to kill us haven't worked yet " a long sign could be heard across the room this worried Leo maybe he should be more caucuses about going top side especially with Baxter stockmen on the lose. Â Standing up Leo slowly walked to were Karai was sitting at her head low eyes shut tight, form the glow of the candle he could see tears running down her cheeks. Nervously Leo places a hand on Karai's should this made her jump her eyes still filled with water as she looked into Leo's blue eyes . More tears filled her as she threw her arms around his neck and began to sob harder into his shoulder. The only thought that came to Leo's mind was why was she cry so much dose she feel more toward me the I thought, as a impulse Leonardo's arms rapped around her small frame bringing her closer to his plastrons. After what seemed like hours Karai pulled back from Leo her face only inches way from his.
" I am sorry Leonardo San I just do not want to see you and your brothers hurt "
" and that's why all the tears " these words brought a smile to Karai's face Leo continued to try to make her laugh " or was this your way of getting your arms around me " Karai giggled at this moving one arm she wiped her face of her tears while she continued to laugh. Placing her arms back around his neck Karai pulled her self close to him and hugged him. Leonardo's eyes widen at this feeling this was also a first for him. Setting his one arm around her waste and the other under her Â Leo slowly got to his feet lifting her up with him, making his was to the bed his placed her gently on it. Never realizing her hold around his neck she bought him closer to her his plastrons just inches from her own chest her sobs came once more as she placed her head on his shoulder. Leonardo's thoughts raced with many things like why was she crying so much dose she care that much about all of us . Focusing on the women in his arms he was now able to see that her quivering lips were only a few inches away from his. Leaning in closer Karai places a soft kiss on his large lips, this feeling was amazing and strange at first to him, a tinkling sensation came over him as he gave into the impulse and returned the kiss his eyes closed tightly there lips both parted slightly taken in by the feeling they both had there kisses became more full and deeper. Leo could feel the heat building inside of him with ever moment spend locked with her. pulling away from her Leo turns his face way he feel his face become flush again this was the second time she has done this to him.
" I'm sorry I shouldn't have "before he could finish what his sentence Karai's hand lifted to his mouth, pulling his face so she could see it she lightly placed a kiss on his lips her tender look assured him that there was no reason for him to sorry for what he did it was a response that any man would do and weather he likes to admit it or not he was part human capable of the same feels and desires as a human male.
" Do not be sorry Leonardo Chan "
" but I took advantage of you and that is dishonorable I have shame myself and my family " with this response Leo lowered his head in shame Karai could not believe this response her eyes widened and her thoughts came to why would her friend be so concerned over a kiss she knew what honor meant but she did not think that a kiss would dishonor his family even the most noble of warriors have given in to there desires. Karai turned her attention back to young man holding her eyes softened again. She watched him look to the cement floor a dead silence came between them but was finally broken by her words.
" You did not dishonor yourself or me Leonardo Chan "
Looking back at her concerned face he only nodded in response to her words. Letting go of Leonardo's neck she slid down to the mat. Laying her head down on the pillow above he she closed her eyes sleep was becoming very clear to her body. Leo laid his head down at the edge of the futon his body laid out on the hard cement floor both of his arms tucked neatly underneath his head slightly moving his left arm Leo took karai's hand entangling it with his own. It was long before sleep over took the both of them as they both feel into a deep slumber. Silence filed the lair Michelangelo turn off the television and went to bed sometime in the late hours Donatello followed a few minutes later having had of his tinkering for the night Raphael never came out of his room the rest of the evening his younger brother figured he fell asleep soon after he was done eating. Master splinter too finally felling into his slumber not long after his return to his room. They rest of the night the only sound that was heard was Mikey's cat Klunk chasing after a mouse that had found it's was into the lair. His eyes darting back and forth watching the mouse run from one spot to another chasing it for a few moments then letting it go once more to watch it tire itself out.
The next morning sounds could be heard out side Leonardo's room sounds of his brothers arguing on what the wanted for breakfast. Leo slowly woke up looking at the women that slept in his bed her eyes still closed her hand entangled with his Karai's mouth slightly parted Leo could not help but stare at her she looked so peaceful when she slept like a angle. His thoughts turn to impure ones of what it would be like to taste her again and touch her silky skin. shaking these thoughts away Leo rose from his spot untangling his hand from hers, Karai moved so she was now laying flat on her back her left arm extend over her head her right arm laid neatly on her chest. Leo smiled at her knelling down beside her Leo pushed away some hair that had gotten into her face by her last movement. Satisfied with this he rose once more then turned to the door stopping only for a moment to pick up his katakana's and there stealth's then returning to his slow quite pace to the door. Once there he opened the door and walked out closing it gently behind him. Once on the upper balcony Leo could plainly see his brothers arguing how would get the last of the cereal smiling again Leo jumped from the ledge and landed on the floor right in front of them each one of his brothers came up to him one at a time patting him on the shoulder and telling him they were worried about him. After reassuring them he was fine Leo turned his attention to the problem at hand. his tree bothers were glad that there oldest brother was fine but even more surprised when Leo took the last bowl of cereal and told them problem solved Mikey gave Leo a dirty look while Donny and Raph only snickered at there brothers fast thinking. A few moments later there master walked out of his room greeting each of his sons Â he turned to the kitchen only to appear a moment later with a hot cup of tea. Sitting in his usual place at the table splinter can now clearly see the concern on his sons face.
" < what is wrong my son > " he said with a soft tone in his voice
" < Master I need to talk to you alone > "
"< Of course my son let us go to my room to talk > "
" < Actually I was thinking my room there is something I have to show you > "
Nodding at his request splinter followed his son up to the upper levels then to Leonardo's room. Once there Leo slowly opened the door only to find that his quest was not in bed looking around the room he could not see any signs of his quest all the lights except one was out, slowly he lit the hanging lanterns starting with the one next to his bookshelf then moving to the back of the room lighting the other 2, with all of them lit now the room became bright a small gasp can from Leo's mouth as he saw his lady quest standing a few feet from the ground. Grabbing Karai's hand Leo helps her down sitting her next to the table then turning to his master sitting on his futon his hands clinched hard to his walking stick.
" < master you have to understand she came to me last night and told me that the shredder is planning something that will destroy us all > " his pause only came for a moment then he continued his words " < she came here unarmed and if she wanted she would have killed me last night in my sleep but she didn't > "another pause came then he continued once more " < please master if shredder finds out she told me of his plans he will kill her > "this time he waited for his masters response, which did not come as fast as he wished before he could get another word in Karai stepped in Â and spoke to splinter at this point Leo only hoped that maybe her words would convince his master to let her stay.
In a soft tone she made her words come straight to the point " < please honorable splinter sensei you must believe me when I say that all of you are in great danger > "
" < It is not words of warning that concern me child it is why you would risk everything to tell us this > "
" < I did not want my friends to get hurt > "
" < Then you have feelings for my son > "
" < yes.....no..... I do not know what I feel > "
" < Please master can she stay > " Leo pleaded
considering it for only a moment master splinter nods at his sons request but he also warned him that his responsibility to protect her and to tell his brothers about her Leo winced at the very thought of having to explain her presents to his brothers his stomach turned more as he thought about it but then he realized that this would have to be as good of a time as any Karai would soon need to eat again anyhow this would require him to take her down with him. Master splinter could be seen by Karai now talking softly to them. Â Leo could not hear what was being said but it don't matter to him his thoughts were only on one thing what the hell is he going say to his brothers to convince them that Karai is alright. Shaking his head Leo moved to Karai taking her hand they moved to his door. Below Leo's brothers could be heard yelling at the television Mikey and Donny were busy playing a game while Raph cheered his brothers on. Raph was the first to look in his brothers direction his eyes narrowed his face became red with frustration. Leaping off the couch Raph lunged at Karai but her reaction was to fast for Raph anticipating the attack Karai leaned slightly to the right without hesitation she kicked Raph in the stomach. Raph's face was racked with pain clinching his stomach he fell to his knees. Leo shook his head at his brother it was disappointing to see that Raph could be taken down so easily.
Still in pain Raph's words came more of a cry then in anger " what the hell is she doing here? "
" She's staying here Raph "
" Oh no she's not tell him master " hearing the noise both Mikey and Donny paused there game long enough to see what the problem is there eyes widened as the site of there brother on the floor his arms rapped around his waist he fought the tears from coming but could not help it they came anyhow.
" I have told Leonardo the girl may stay with us Raphael her life is now in danger "
" In danger yeah she's going to be in danger as soon as I get better here "
" Raphael let me explain she told me the shredder has a plan to destroy us all and now I know that her life is in danger "
" So what let the shredder have her we don't need her "
" Raphael that's enough the girl will remain with us until this is sorted out "
Having enough of this Raph storms out of the living room leaving the others to sort this out. Lowering his head Leo felt he had disappointed his brothers. Looking over at karai a look of sadness over came her face. For the rest of the afternoon Donny and Mikey questioned Karai about what was going on and her response for every question was the same that she did not know what the plan was, all she knew it was something that was going to destroy them all and that Baxter stockmen was involved in it somehow. There talk took them into the evening hours well after the sun had set on the city and Raphael still refused to come out of his room. This made it even harder for Leo to concentrate on the evening katas and was even worse when supper had come and gone. Feeling somewhat responsible for what his brother was feeling Leo decided to take his brother some food and maybe give him a chance to patch things up with Raph. Leaving Karai with his brothers was hard enough for Leo his thoughts turned to what his brothers would say or do if he left her alone with them. Moving across to his master's room he only knocked once before he was greeted by his master, before he could get a word in his master agreed to stay with Karai while he tended to Raphael. Reaching Raphs door was the easy part the hard part to Leo was getting Raph to let him in. knocking on Raph's door no answer came Leo once again knocked on Raph's door this time it slightly cracked open he could now see the pain stricken face of his brother.
" What do you want? "
" I brought you dinner its meatloaf "
" I'm not hungry "
" Please Raph can we talk "
" You want to talk so talk "
" look I know you don't like nor trust Karai but you have to trust my judgment on this one she only came here to warn of shredders plan not to kill us " Raph's eyes darted form his brothers to the landing he stood on his thoughts lingered on what a ass his brother is being to what a ass he was being , he could not believe that his brother was that stupid to actually trust a women that he hardly knows plus to make things worse she was one of them a foot one of the enemy. Shaking his head of those thoughts his eyes slowly raised to meet his brothers. Sadness stricken in Leo face. What was he sad or worried about was he afraid that having her here was going to break up there family. Once more he found himself looking at the landing unable to look into his brother's eyes. Sensing his brother's uneasiness Leo decided to change the subject before the silence becomes too much for the both of them.
" Who won the game? "
" oh don't know wasn't watching " grabbing the large plate of food Leo turns to walk back done stairs seeing this action Raph takes one step forward continuing his words " hey Leo thanks for the food I mean " a small smile comes to Leo face
" No problem bro "
Once back on the main floor Leo looks around the lair Donny as usual had his nose in the computer searching for something on line no less Raph was upstairs eating master splinter was sitting at the table drinking his third cup of tea Mikey and Karai sat on the couch watching a one of those Chinese B movies were they talk Chinese and the fighting looks fake. Leo laughed at the thought of Mikey actually sitting through one of those movies and liking it. Moving around the couch he now sees that the only one watching the movie was Karai and Mikey had his head in his game boy, tongue sticking out of his mouth.
" How's the movie "
Looking away from the television Karai could see the small grin on Leo's face she in turn smiled at this comment " very interesting "
" Well when you're ready you can sleep in my room "
" What about you Leonardo? "
" Don't worry I'll slept out here I usually do anyhow "
" You are sure Leonardo Chan "
" Yeah don't worry "
Looking at the clock Leo could now see that's its well after 12 master splinter and Mikey both headed to bed and Donny had headed to bed around 11 leaving him and Karai in the living room. they sat and watched another Chinese B movie but half way threw the movie Karai found her way to Leo's shoulder laying her head on it she drifted between sleep and awake. Seeing this Leo slowly picks up the sleep Karai and cares her to his room. Upon arrival he gently lays the already asleep Karai on his futon making sure not to wake her in any way. With her head lying on the pillow Leo gently pries his arm from under Karai's neck, but before he could get away Karai raps her arms around Leonardo's neck puling him close to her. He could feel her breath on his cheek a low moan escapes her, the sound of her moan and the feeling of her breath on his neck and cheek was almost too much for him he had to get out of this before he lets things go to far with her. Turning her head he could now feel her lips only inches away from his face. Not realizing what she was doing she lifts her head parting her lips slightly not resisting the feeling Leo parts his lips as well welcoming her tongue. for a few moments the world went silent around them all that matter was that moment the way it felt to have there Â kiss. Parting from the kiss Leo's mind swirled with emotion feeling he never knew were there made there way to the surface.
Finally able to free his arm Leo slowly walks to the door looking back one last time to see the sleeping women in his bed satisfied that she is asleep Leo closes the door softly behind him. Once to the main floor Leo makes his way to the couch in the living room. Once settled on the couch Leo's eyes moved to the remote that sat on the table in front of him. Figuring he would never get sleep the old fashion way he leaned over and grabbing the remote form it place on the table and switched it on. Flipping threw the channels Leonardo realized that there was nothing on that would be good enough to put him asleep so he decided to try again. Not satisfied at the channels he turns the television off and try's to fall asleep on his own. His mind kept returning to the kiss that they shared a few moments earlier. Why did I kiss her back his mind told him? Groaning once more Leo shook off the thought that lingered in his mind. Closing his eyes he could feel sleep creep on him and finally aloud it to over take his body.
Once again Leo's sleep was interrupted this time by fuzzy tail brushing against his face. Turning around he gave Leo one last evil look before turning to the chair next to the couch, jumping up on it Klunk curled up into a ball and fell back asleep.
"Sorry Klunk."
Placing his hand to his forehead, Leo wiped the sweat from just above his bandana. His heart pounding, the pressure was painful under his plastron. After catching his breath Leo once again lay his head back on the pillow and fell in to a deep sleep. Upstairs the sounds of his brothers could be heard as well. Their snores echoed throughout the lair. Inside Leo's room Karai sat up from a strange dream. It almost felt real to her like the man she was with was right there in the room with her. She felt her heart pound I her chest. Karai could still remember the dream.

Lying alone in Leo's room, her eyes focused on the table one the far wall. Suddenly a large hand could be felt caressing her shoulder. Turning toward it she was met by a large pair of lips. Parting her lips, she felt her tongue tangle with his. His large hand moving over her body, touching and feeling what ever he wanted. She could hear him whisper something in Japanese in-between his kisses but she could not tell what it was that he said.

She sat a few moments more before laying down once again. She continued to curse herself for having such dreams. Allowing her breath to return to normal, Karai went into a soft slumber. This time the dreams did not return.
