“You’ll be glad to know that I, Kid Flash, have accepted a position with the Teen Titans!” Wally West, Kid Flash, said triumphantly to a news reporter.

Questions and flashes erupted in a millisecond after his announcement.

“Do you know which team you’ll be on?”

“Are you dating one of the Titans?

“How and why did you decide to join the Titans?”

“Are you sure you’re single?”

He was bombarded with questions and waved his hands in front of him.

“One at a time, please.” He said, stroking his hair back.

“I have joined the Titans because we have similar goals in protecting our community. And yes I am single…”

A gaggle of girls cheered his name out, making Kid Flash puff his chest out.

Robin scoffed and turned the television off, throwing the remote onto the table.

“Who offered him a spot on the team?” He asked around, everyone was silent.

“I did.” Raven said, walking into the room a slight glow to her appearance.

“And…why?” Robin asked with a raised eyebrow.

“He’s a good guy. He deserves a chance.”

“He’s a hot head who thinks he’s better than everyone.”

“I’m with Raven, we should give this Flash a chance.” Starfire said with a nod, Robin dropped his jaw and looked at her.

“Yeah me too, we always need someone fast on the team.” Cyborg agreed, pulling out his video games.

“You too Beast Boy?” Robin asked the green Titan.

“I don’t know. I guess.”

Robin growled and leaned back, crossing his arms. Starfire lightly touched his shoulder and gave him a smile, he instantly relaxed a little.

“Fine. But next time you go through me!”

“Alright.” Raven replied taking a seat on the couch near the end.

“Honey! I’m home!” Kid Flash yelled as he zipped into the room stopping in front of the television, his hands on his hips.

“Dude! Get out of the way!” Beast Boy complained waving his hands frantically.

“Oh…sorry!” Kid Flash moved over between Raven and Starfire, taking a seat and spreading his arms out wide.

“Listen here, I am the leader of the Titans and…”

“Yes I know, whatever you say goes. I swear you carry your batarangs up your…”

“That’s enough.” Raven said, raising an eyebrow to both guys.

Robin mumbled and crossed his arms, turning to the screen and watching Beast Boy and Cyborg play. Starfire held onto Robin’s arm and watched with him. Kid Flash looked at Raven with a smile.

“You’re an ass.” She said, opening her book and pretending to read.

“Well eeeehaaaww to you too.” He said making a donkey noise.

He slipped his hand next to hers, his pinky lightly touching it.

“You want to show me around?” He asked quietly, looking at the rest of the Titans.

“You’ve already been around.”

“That’s not what I meant…”

Raven perked up and looked at him, a small blush on her face.

“I’m busy.”

“Busy pretending to read that book…unless you can read upside down…”

Raven sighed and flipped her book right side up. Kid Flash caressed her hand lightly.

“Just for a little…”

“Speedy is going to visit soon.”

Kid Flash pulled himself back and leaned against the couch.

“I thought you were…”

“I’m not.”

He looked down and fumbled with his hands.

Raven stopped him from talking by grabbing onto his crotch quickly. He blushed red and looked at the Titans who didn’t pay attention.

“My room…five minutes.” She said, closing her book and standing up.

She walked out, leaving Kid Flash uneasy around her friends. He attempted to make conversation with them but they were too engrossed in the game.

“Whatever.” Robin said, holding onto Starfire.

Kid Flash was up and around the corner before the main door even shut. He rapped lightly onto Raven’s door. She opened it and pulled him in, shutting it quietly behind him. “I brought Chinese and a new book for you.”

“Thanks.” Raven took the book and Chinese food to the counter.

Speedy and Kid Flash looked at each other.

“Roy…” Wally said with a nod.

“Wally.”

Raven turned around, holding chopsticks and noticed the tension.

“UH…Food?” She asked, breaking the silence.

Speedy glared a bit at Flash and walked over to Raven.

“Let’s eat in your room.”

“Ok…” Raven looked at Flash who nodded, he had cleaned the room up while she was getting dressed, any hints of their time together was gone.

Raven and Speedy sat on her bed, she fed him noodles and he kissed her after each bite.

“So, Kid Flash is on your team.”

“Yes.”

“And who invited him?”

“I did.”

“Why?”

Raven sighed and rolled her eyes, “Is there a reason why you or the other Titans don’t want him around?”

“No, I was just wondering.”

Speedy sat up and caressed her back.

“No.”

Speedy frowned and picked up a box of noodles jamming in so much that his mouth was puffy. Raven huddled her legs together and looked at him.

“He’s a team mate.”

Speedy stopped eating and looked at her. “Yes.”

Raven was caught off guard and looked at her feet. “I’m sorry.”

“For?”

“Not wanting to have sex with you and making you think that…”

Speedy sighed and placed his food down. “I’ll wait until you’re ready.”

Raven smiled and leaned in to kiss him, tasting the saltiness of the food on his lips. He kissed back, cupping her face. If only he knew about her and Flash, things would be ruined.

“Where’d you get this from?” He asked, looking at the necklace.

“I bought it.”

“You? Shopping? Wow.”

He laughed and she forced a laugh.

“West.” Speedy said as Flash was decorating his room, filled with reds and yellows.

“What?’ He asked a little annoyed.

“Stay away from my girl.”

Flash turned around and looked at Speedy who was leaning on the door frame.

“Excuse me?”

“You heard me, Raven is off limits. Get one of your little fangirls to fuck.”

“Raven and I are…”

“Nothing and it’s going to stay that way.”

Flash frowned and dropped his box walking up to Speedy, they were the same height and almost the same build, Flash being more lean.

“Don’t worry, you’re girl will be safe.”

“Good.”

Flash turned around and went back to his things. “I’d suggest you keep Melanie a secret from her.”

“What?”

“Melanie, or was it Bridget?” Flash smirked turning around. “I was in Star City last weekend. I didn’t know Raven had blonde hair. That was the girl you were sucking face with, wasn’t it?”

Speedy growled, “It’s none of your business.”

“Can’t get enough companionship from Raven so you go out and get someone else? What Raven doesn’t want to sleep with you? Afraid you have diseases or does she not know about your little escapades? And you tell me to get with fan girls.”

“I’d watch my mouth if I were you.”

“Afraid Raven will find out and you’ll be out on the doorstep.”

Speedy slammed his fist into the wall and walked out, leaving Flash looking triumphant.
