“Whoa what was all that about, Rae?” Robin asked as he and Raven walked down the halls of the Tower.
“What?” Raven asked back, looking at him for a moment.
“Back there, with Kitten. It seems like you and BB…” Robin noted, about to state the obvious until.
“I heard my name!” Beast Boy popped out, standing in front of them. “What’s up? Anyone up for some tofu…”
“No. I’m going to meditate.” Raven interrupted moving past Beast Boy but allowing their hands to lightly grazed each other, turning Beast Boy’s face beet red.
Robin narrowed his eyes and thought for a moment before he shook it off. Beast Boy crept up behind him and spoke very loudly, “TOFU SANDWICHES?”
Robin nearly jumped out of his skin but instead jumped in his place. He turned and looked at Beast Boy sighing, “I’m not hungry. I’ll be in my room.”
He left down the other end of the hall, leaving Beast Boy standing there alone. He hunched over and scratched his head, “Man, no one likes my tofu sandwiches.” He shuffled off back to the lounge.
Raven had gone into her room and was leaning against the door with her eyes wide. How many people knew about her so called ‘crush’ on the green Titan? She knew for a fact Beast Boy was clueless as ever but maybe Robin was only overly attentive. She sighed and unclipped her cloak, hanging it up before she walked to her bed and sat on it.
As Raven began to float upward, readying herself for meditation, there was a loud booming knock on her door, causing her to flop onto the bed. Startled, not so much, Raven walked to the door and opened it only a little. Starfire stood with her hands clasped in front of her smiling widely.
“Hello Raven!” Starfire said with her usual sense of undying excitement.
“Hi.” Raven responded, her voice monotone and full of lackluster, “Can I help you?”
Starfire smiled again, “I was wishing we could have a talk.”
Raven raised an eyebrow, Starfire never wanted to talk to her outside of trying to get her to eat some odd dish she created or asking her to go to the mall. She thought it might have been something serious and stepped back, opening her door for Starfire to enter. Starfire walked in and cradled her arms as the room was unusually cold and dreary looking, nothing like her own peppy happy pink and orange room.
“Is there something wrong?” Raven asked, watching Starfire bounce happily on her bed before sitting.
“Yes.” Starfire said nodding. She patted the spot next to her waiting for Raven to sit before she continued. “I am worried about Beast Boy and the evil girl Kitten.”
Raven rolled her eyes when Starfire wasn’t looking, “At least it’s not Robin.” She half attempted to make a joke, causing Starfire to look at her confused, “Never mind.” Raven said quickly.
“I am having the feelings that Kitten will try to take Beast Boy away. She is an evil evil girl.”
“I wouldn’t worry about it too much, she’ll find some one else to occupy her time. Beast Boy’s not exactly ‘cool’.” Raven said standing up, knowing how Kitten wanted to take Robin to the prom because he was cool and Beast Boy was more of a class clown.
“But you have the feelings for Beast Boy, do you not?” Starfire asked, holding up a finger.
She watched Raven tumbled down at the question and shoot herself back up, smoothing out her cloak, “I what?” Raven asked flabbergasted, did EVERYONE know?
“You were acting like I was when Kitten was doing the grabbing on Beast Boy.” Starfire said, giggling as Raven blushed, “Do not worry friend Raven. It shall be between us.”
“Great.” Raven mumbled under her breath, sitting back down as Starfire went on and on about how cute of a couple they’d make.

Clear across the waters, Kitten sat in her room flipping through the news. She squealed loudly as the Channel 6 news reported the battle that went on downtown. She paused it at the green form of Beast Boy and rolled around on her back.
“DADDY!” Kitten suddenly called out, her voice so loud and shrill that a few glass windows exploded.
Loud thundering came up the stairs as Killer Moth barged into the room, breaking the door down. “What’s wrong? Are you ok?” He asked worried for his daughter.
She hugged a teddy bear to her chest and pointed to the frozen screen, “I WANT HIM! I WANT HIM NOW!”
Killer Moth sighed and walked over, taking a good look at Beast Boy before he grunted. “Don’t you want something else, like a new…stuffed animal?”
Kitten shook her head, “No! I want him! He’s sooooo cute and dreamy. Ten times better than Fang and Robin. You have to get him! I want him!!”
“Kitten, we tried that with your prom…” Killer Moth began but stopped when Kitten began to tear up and bawl all over the bed, throwing everything she could at him.
“I WANT HIM! Daddy!!!” She latched onto his arms and looked up at him with her big blue eyes, batting her eyelashes at him. “Please?” She faked a crunching smile.
Killer Moth sighed, “I’ll see what I can do.” He nearly fell of the bed when Kitten screamed loudly and bounced up and down her bed.

Later that night, Beast Boy wandered into the lounge room, wanting to get a midnight snack. He was dressed in only his boxers and a pair of stained green socks. Beast Boy didn’t bother turning the lights on but felt his way to the kitchen and then the fridge. He opened it and blocked the light from hitting his eyes with his arm as he rummaged through the fridge.
“Oh yeah…” Beast Boy cheered quietly as he pulled out a bowl of tofu salad and peeled the film back to sniff it.
He stood up and turned, about the kick the fridge closed with his foot when the light illuminated a face sitting across from him. Beast Boy screamed like a girl and threw the bowl of tofu salad up into the air as he slammed back into the fridge. The bowl of tofu salad was stopped in mid air and brought back down onto the table. Raven sat across from the table with a cup of warm herbal tea clutched in her hands.
“Raven! You scared me.” Beast Boy said, placing a hand on his bare chest and breathing roughly.
“Should’ve turned a light on.” Raven simply said, sipping at the warm substance in her black mug.
Beast Boy grabbed his bowl of tofu and clutched it to his chest, he held a finger up then pointed it at her, “Why are you sitting in the dark?”
Raven looked at him and gave him a relaxed look, “I’m getting in touch with my evil side.”
“What!?” Beast Boy asked in a falsetto voice, his eyes wide.
Raven suddenly smiled and shook her head, “Just joking.”
Beast Boy laughed uneasily and moved next to Raven, leaving the fridge wide open but the light cascaded over to where they were sitting giving them enough light at the moment. He pulled the film back from his bowl and looked at it. When he looked up a fork was floating in front of him, waiting for him to take it. Beast Boy blushed and took the fork. “Thanks.” He said, looking at Raven.
Raven nodded and sat there in silence. Her heart was beating quite quickly for some one like her. She hadn’t expected to see Beast Boy wander in at night, nor did she expect to see him in his boxers. She looked down into her mug not wanting to gaze down his furry chest with a darker green trail of hair that led deep into his boxers. She shuddered mentally at the thought of seeing him naked and pressed her thighs together not wanting to feel the tingling sensation she always got when she thought about him.
Beast Boy remained quiet as well and ate his tofu salad. He held onto the bowl and shoveled fork full after fork full of tofu into his mouth. Rarely had he ever been alone with Raven, especially when she was at full creepy mode, with sitting in the dark and all. He looked at her, seeing the profile of her face. Her skin looked soft and her lips seemed supple. If he wasn’t such a chicken he would’ve told her so but of course he could only imagine her throwing him into the fridge and locking him in for the rest of the night.
“Raven?” Beast Boy asked suddenly, breaking the awkward silence.
Raven turned and looked at him, her eyes a little glossy from what she had been thinking earlier that night, “What?”
Beast Boy twiddled his thumbs and looked at them. Finally he brought his eyes to hers, “I don’t think you’re creepy.”
“Thanks.” Raven answered, not sure why he was bringing that up to begin with.
As she turned to take a sip of her herbal tea, Raven felt Beast Boy’s hand touch hers. She turned back and saw him staring at her. Raven blushed and Beast Boy followed. Both leaned in, slowly at first, until the edges of their lips touched, sending several shocks up and down their spines. As Raven was about to part her lips and deepen the kiss the lights in the room shot on and the large television turned on.
Raven and Beast Boy pulled from each other wide eyed as Beast Boy tumbled out of his chair and onto the floor. The turned around to look at the screen as Killer Moth popped on. “TITANS!?” He called, looking around the screen.
Robin, Starfire and Cyborg rushed into the room just as Raven floated to the center of it. Killer Moth counted the Titans before talking. “We have business to settle!”
“Yeah, like why are you always hacking into my system man!” Cyborg called out, pulling a night cap from his head.
“What do you want?” Raven asked, staring up at the villain.
“I’m looking for one they call…” He pulled out a piece of paper and read it, “Beast. Boy. Where is he?”
Beast Boy raised his hand from the ground and crawled over to Raven, popping up shortly. Killer Moth stared at his attire, as did the other Titans. Beast Boy blushed and tried to cover himself but he knew he couldn’t. Instead his hid under Raven’s cloak and popped out to see what was going on.
“I want you to meet a very special lady…” Killer Moth began but couldn’t finish as he was kicked out of the way by a pink boot and in his place was none other than Kitten.
“OH BEASTIE BOO!” She called out waving to him.
Beast Boy squealed and hid under Raven’s cloak. Kitten giggled, “You’re so cute!”
“Enough of this. What do you want with Beast Boy, Kitten?” Robin demanded, stepping in front of the group.
“Don’t be jealous Robbie-Poo.” Kitten began placing her hands on her hips, “I want Beast Boy…to take me on a date and be my…BOOOOYFRRIEENDD”
“No way.” Beast Boy mumbled, hugging onto Raven which made her blush.
Kitten pouted and looked off screen, “DADDY! HE SAID NO!” She pushed the camera off the side to Killer Moth and stomped around behind him.
“You don’t have a choice boy. If you don’t take my princess on a…date. Then I will be forced to release this…” He held up a small green canister at the camera.
“Bug spray?” Raven asked, raising an eye brow as she read the label on the can.
Killer Moth looked at it and grumbled tossing it behind him. He pulled out another glowing green can and held it to the camera, “This! A gas that will turn the city into dust! If you do not date my precious princess I will destroy the city.”
“Can’t this girl keep a boyfriend?” Raven muttered, rolling her eyes.
“What do you say, Beastie Boo?” Kitten asked, pushing her hands against her father’s face to move him out of her way.
“Do I have a choice?” Beast Boy asked, still hiding under Raven’s cloak.
Kitten shook her head, “Nope Nope! I’m waiiiting.”
Beast Boy pulled his head from under the cloak and looked at her, “For what?” he asked, quirking an eyebrow.
“For you to ask me out! DUH!” Kitten said giggling as she batted her ugly eyelashes at him.
Beast Boy grumbled, “Want to go out, Kitten?” He spoke so softly that he hoped she couldn’t hear.
It was thankful wishing. Kitten squealed so loudly that the glass in the lounge room cracked and everyone but Raven and Beast Boy were blasted into the wall. “I WOULD LOVE TO! PICK ME UP AT EIGHT!”
The screen clicked off and the Titans stood there staring at Beast Boy. “At least it’s not me.” Robin laughed uneasily, earning a glare from Raven.
Beast Boy crawled from under Raven’s cloak and trudged to the door, “I gotta get some sleep for my date tomorrow.” He sniffled and left, closing the door behind him.
The other Titans looked at each other and shrugged. They would deal with Killer Moth in the morning. Raven was left standing in the room with her right eye twitching. Beast Boy. Date. Kitten. Killer Moth. It all seemed too much for her to comprehend completely and still keep control of herself. Raven began to grind her teeth as she turned, causing several things on the counter to explode as she passed and left the room.
