Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Titans, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
Ok I have to say sorry again, this thing is turning into a romance novel or something, I promise in the second part of this chapter that we will get to juicy bits but I have lost control of this story. Its writing itself and we all just have to watch it play out, I am watching and reading it just like you are, I just get to see it first. I had to break this chapter up, don’t know why it just seemed right.
Normal disclosure, I don't own Teen Titans, I have no connection with the people who own Teen Titans, and if you own Teen Titans I don't even know who wrote this story.
And now...
A midnight ride (part 1)
As the carriage pulled away with a gentle tug and Rave thought that tonight might be the best night of her life. She was with someone she loved, enjoyed a live concert of music that would never be played in the tower and now to top it off she was riding in a horse draw carriage under the stars. She felt like some princess in a fairy tale. It was as if time had stopped and allowed her a moment to breath. The clip clop of the horse’s hooves seemed to sync with her heartbeat, setting a gentle calming tone as they drifted of into the darkness.
Beast Boy made a big dramatic stretch and when he lowered his arms he put one around Ravens shoulders like a teen in a movie theater making his big move on a first date. Raven stifled a laugh at the though of him having to be sly about holding her. “I guess he still thinks he has to be sneaky to touch me,” she thought as she laid her head on his chest. She could not blame him thought she thought. In the past she had not been the most affectionate of people, cold really. Raising he hand to rub his chest she thought “maybe I was scared of what might happen if I let someone in, maybe I was afraid of being rejected?” Of all the people to break thought her cold exterior the idea that Beast Boy would be the one was as far outside the realm of possibilities as Starfire understanding global politics. But here they were, just a boy and a girl under the nights sky with the stars as a witness.
Beast boy rested his cheek on top of her head and moved his hand to the back of her neck running his fingers absentmindedly through her hair. Raven felt electric pulses run down her spine as she hugged closer to his chest murmuring her approval. She felt the bones of his ribcage on her cheek; he was so thin he seemed almost fragile. She now knew that he was not the little twerp she once thought he was. He has like a leopard ready to pounce and that his strength didn’t come form massive muscles but from the perfect match of strength and agility. He didn’t need to be a muscle bound brute like Cyborg to win, in fact she felt that he could probably run laps around him, wearing him out as he waited for just the right moment to strike if he wanted to. He was so much stronger than she had giving him credit for. Most of all she could feel his heart beating like a hammer in his chest. It sounded like it was ten times bigger than a normal heart and with each pulse it sent waves through his body into hers.
Beast Boy had started to twirl her hair around his finger making Raves skin fell like it was on fire; she had to burry her face in his chest to stifle a moan. That’s when it hit her. His scent, it was like nothing she had ever experienced before. Like hands holding her face it paralyzed her. She could not place it, was it the rainforest at night, or a field of flowers in the spring? There was something else though, something hidden in the background, something very powerful. It was something that made her shiver. Something that made her think it could drive her wild if it bit her like a snake or caress her like the tenderness of a doe with a faun. She tilted her head up so that her face was now in under his chin, buried in his neck, breathing in his scent. It flowed into her, washing over her face and rolling over her mind. Raven had never gotten drunk or taken any drugs but his scent was numbing her mind. It penetrated her thoughts and made it hard to concentrate. Raven thought if this was what a drunkard felt she was immediately addicted. His scent pushed all logic from her mind so that she could only feel her body. It washed over her and she could hear herself moan as if it were someone else controlling her body.
Raven raised her hand to Beast Boys face and slowly pulled it down to hers. Their lips met gently. Not like before in animal passion but like a gentle breeze wafting a falling cheery blossom into the air. Raven had no sense of time; she just felt his lips absorbing her. Her whole body felt like it was melting into his and she could not stop it, no, she did not want to stop it. She had no idea how long the kiss lasted but when she pulled away slightly all she could see was Beast Boys eyes. She fell into them, pulled by a force that she could not resist. She knew she was his, knew it with every fiber of her being. At that moment she know he could do whatever he pleased with her and she would be happy to oblige him.
There was a slight jerk and she heard the man that drove the carriage say “here we are, I hope you enjoyed the ride.” Raven looked around and they were in front of the hotel. How long had they kissed? Her legs felt like they would give out as Beast Boy helped her down from the carriage. The lobby looked like a dream as they passed through it, just two drifting spirts. Raven could not focus on anything for more than a moment. She could tell that it was empty except for a desk clerk but is was like walking though colors. Beast Boy too looked like he was in a dream world as they entered the elevator. She didn’t know who pushed the button for their floor all she knew was they were rising through the glass tube and the city was receding below them. She turned to look at Beast Boy and without even consent form her mind her body went to him and they were again kissing. Rising into the night sky on invisible hands, pinpoints of light dropping away as the drifted into the stars….
