Chapter 10: Bats in the Belfry

A shadow cloaked figure landed silently on a rooftop. It quickly moved to the edge of the ten story building and took a moment to observe the surrounding area.
Through a pair of night vision binoculars, Batman scoped out the roof of the next building- a large, abandoned warehouse. This had to be it. He was about to make his move when he spotted some movement to his left. As he focused the lenses he could clearly see two figures taking to the sky.
They hovered about for a moment before flying off into the horizon. He recognized the first one immediately as the female Parasite, but it was the second woman that really shocked him. Though her costume was different, it was most definitely Supergirl. What was she doing consorting with known super villains? A million questions flashed through his mind, and he was ready to get some answers.
After making certain that there were no guards or cameras around, Batman reached for his grapple gun, unhooking it from the utility belt, and skillfully shot a line over.
With the night sky behind him, he swung swiftly through the air and touched down without making a sound. The Dark Knight crept across the large, flat roof to where light was shining up through a skylight. As he peered down, he saw an auburn haired woman crossing the floor before pulling out a chair and sitting down at a small wooden table. Using the binoculars again he checked the area around her as far as he could see. There was no sign of Superman anywhere or anyone else for that matter.
Batman attached a line around a ventilation pipe, taking a moment to check its stability, and rappelled down through the skylight. The woman he had spotted earlier was still seated at the table, but she was now watching something on a huge, brand new looking flat screen TV. Probably just one of many stolen items he thought. When he was just a few inches from the floor, the Caped Crusader unhooked himself from the line.
The slight sound of his boots hitting the concrete floor in the massive room echoed just enough to alert the woman. Lasso Girl jumped from her seat and spun around to face him, her eyes wide with fear.
“Please…don’t hurt me,” she pleaded in a quiet voice as she backed up against the table.
“I won’t if you answer my questions.”
Batman approached the woman noting that she was very attractive. In addition, her skin tight costume showed off her incredible body quite nicely. Lasso Girl smiled inwardly. He had no idea who she was- a fact that she intended to take full advantage of.
“I want to know where Superman is.”
“S-Superman? I don’t….”
“Don’t be coy. I know you’re holding him here somewhere and you’re going to tell me right now.”
He forcefully grabbed her upper arm and pulled her closer. “I’m not asking again,” he growled.
She tried to pull away from his grip which only made him squeeze harder.
“Ow…y-you’re hurting me,” Lasso Girl cried, pouting her sultry lips for added effect.
Batman loosened his grip a little but maintained his hold on the beautiful woman. He was convinced that she was harmless; probably nothing more than a flunky, but he was still determined to get his answers.
“Look, I saw your cohorts leave earlier so I know it’s just you and me. One way or the other you’re telling me what I need to know or else.”
“Ok, ok I’ll tell you. He’s…” she began.
“Well?”
“…right here!” The villainess suddenly pulled Batman in, catching him off guard, and drove her knee into his gut. She followed up with an arcing kick that caught him on the side of the head sending him stumbling back.
Batman recovered almost instantly and fell back into a fighting stance. He silently admonished himself for falling for her innocent act. It appeared there was more to this woman than meets the eye.
“What’s wrong, Bats?” The woman smiled cleverly. “Did that hurt? Well I have much more punishment in store for you.”
She went on the offensive once again, this time unloading a barrage of kicks and punches. However this time, the Dark Knight was prepared and blocked or parried every one of her strikes. He could tell she was a well trained and accomplished martial artist but she didn’t stand a chance against his superior fighting skills. Years of dedicated practice as well as real world experience against countless foes tipped the scales in his favor.
He patiently waited for her next onslaught and saw an opening. He expertly caught one of her blows, flipping her over his shoulder in the process. Batman was on her in an instant and quickly pinned her arms to the floor above her head.
“Oh, you’re soo strong, Batman. Looks like I have no choice but to surrender,” mocked Lasso Girl. “Do you feel like a big man now?”
“I wouldn’t be so smug,” the Dark Knight stared down at her. He couldn’t help but admire the view for a minute. The way she was squirming and wriggling her body as she struggled underneath him was certainly captivating.
“I bet you think those big, strong muscles of yours are going to be enough to beat me right? Well, so did a certain other super-hero.”
“You might as well give it up now. Its over. Now for the last time, where are you holding Superman?”
A smile began to form as Lasso Girl looked to her right and winked. “Don’t worry, you’ll find out real soon.”
“Aaghh!” Batman suddenly let out a short yelp. He felt a precise, sharp pain, like the prick of a needle in his right shoulder. He looked down and saw a small tranquilizer dart sticking out from his arm. Without hesitation he reached and yanked the dart out casting it aside. Rising off of the cunning villainess, Batman whirled around to see exactly where it had come from.
Two beautiful women dressed in tight bodysuits similar to Lasso Girl’s emerged from the shadows. One of them was carrying what looked like an air rifle.
“Nailed him,” declared Tangle proudly as she set the rifle down.
Batman clutched his forehead in his hand. He felt like a cloudy, confusing haze had suddenly enveloped him. “Y-you’ve drugged me you treacherous…”
“Don’t worry, Bats. You’ve just been dosed with a mild, but very effective tranquilizer,” Lasso Girl explained with a devious smirk. “It won’t put you out for a good while, but it will leave you weakened and disoriented until then. So it’s no use trying to fight it.” She then motioned to her henchwomen. “Go ahead and bring him out, ladies. I want to make sure he sees this.”
Tangle and Lace grinned at each other as they pulled Superman, who was still bound to his chair, out from behind a stack of old crates. Lace removed the gag they had placed over his mouth. “Watch carefully now,” she said gleefully.
Batman urgently reached into a compartment on his utility belt and pulled out a small dose of anti-toxin. But as he fumbled trying to open it, Lasso Girl quickly knocked the precious vial from his hand. “Ah, ah, you won’t be needing that.”
Lasso Girl took her time, nonchalantly approaching the already off balanced Batman. “How dare you lay your filthy hands on me. We’re going to teach you a lesson on how to treat women properly!” She lashed out with her foot, performing a hard front kick to his face causing his head to snap back. Then she grabbed a hold of the two pointy “ears” on his cowl, pulling them down and introducing his face to her knee.
The Caped Crusader attempted to fight his attacker, swinging wildly like a drunken person but all he could hit was air. His midsection already ached and his head was swimming. The villainous vixen giggled as she dodged him with ease. “Not so tough now are you?” She ducked another of his clumsy punches then swept his legs out from under him causing him to fall to the floor. “Uh oh, Batty-man fell down. I didn’t know you were so clumsy,” she taunted.
Batman tried to shake the cobwebs out and struggled to regain his footing. He didn’t even notice as Lace and Tangle made their way over. The three women formed a triangle around the woozy superhero.
“This is going to be fun,” declared Tangle.
“Ok girls, I’ll start us off.” Lasso Girl delivered a swift kick to his abdomen.
Batman doubled over in pain, the wind knocked out of him, before stumbling over to Lace who greeted him with a roundhouse kick to the chest. As he neared Tangle, she decided to show off a bit by performing a spinning heel kick that caught him sharply in the ribs. It was almost graceful the way the trio of ladies took turns performing their deliberate and coldly calculated strikes.
“No, stop it!” Superman shouted, watching in horror as his colleague was being dismantled with ease before his very eyes. He had wanted to warn Batman of the impending danger so badly but the gag as well as being drained recently by Alexandra had prevented him from doing so. With each punishing blow Batman received as he was knocked to and fro from each woman, all his hopes of being rescued were fading away.
The combination of the ruthless beating and tranquilizer had taken its toll. Tangle and Lace held up their fallen foe- he was unable to stand on his own power and was now barely conscious. Lasso Girl grabbed his chin in the palm of her hand.
“Aw look at it this way, Batman. My team and I defeated Superman many times before you showed up. And if the strongest most powerful man in the world was bested by us, then what chance did you have? You are after all, just a man.”
She then roughly kissed him, forcing her warm, wet tongue into his mouth. The Dark Knight was helpless to stop her as she probed every inch of his mouth. Lasso Girl smiled brightly, proud of herself for what she had managed to accomplish. She unhooked his utility belt, slinging it over her shoulder as a trophy, and took a careful step back before leveling a brutal kick to Batman’s balls. Tangle and Lace released his arms, and he fell heavily to the floor groaning in severe pain.
“That’s music to my ears. There’s nothing better than busting a superhero’s balls,” Lasso Girl quipped. All three victorious women shared a good laugh at Batman’s expense and pointed with amusement as he curled up into the fetal position.
The villainous ringleader rested her high-heeled boot on the back of her fallen prey’s head. She knelt down, resting an arm on her knee as she spoke to the semi conscious hero.
“I bet you’re wondering how we knew you were coming. Well, I know you saw Supergirl and Alexandra leave right before you rudely trespassed into our hideout. That was to make you believe that I was all alone. You see Supergirl heard you coming in your little Batmobile from miles away. That gave us time to set up this welcoming party. I knew me and my girls could take you out with no problem.” She looked back at Kal-El to continue her gloating. “Looks like another rescue attempt gone awry. Just one more example of how we “weak” little women are far superior to you big, strong men.”
Lasso Girl tossed Batman’s utility belt to Tangle who then playfully fastened it around her own slender waist. It hung loosely to her shapely body as she modeled it in front of Superman.
“What do you think?” she asked smiling. “I think it’ll make for a nice accessory.”
Superman looked away in disgust. He couldn’t believe how easily they had defeated Batman and now they were joking around about it.
“Aw, why the long face, lover?” Tangle asked, taking a seat across his lap. She started tenderly kissing the Man of Steel on his cheek then slowly made her way down the side of his neck. He shut his eyes tightly trying not to enjoy it.
“Don’t worry about your friend Batman,” she assured. “Lasso Girl has always kind of had a thing for him. She’ll take good care of him. But you…you’ll always be my favorite pet. And I’m going to enjoy torturing you for a very long time.” Tangle affectionately rested her head on his shoulder, causing a few strands of her hair to brush against Superman’s face as she did so.
God she smelled good he couldn’t help but think. He quickly shook those betraying thoughts from his mind though as he watched Lace and Lasso Girl dragging Batman’s limp form away. It looked like it was all over now. If Supergirl wouldn't snap out of her mind-controlled state, he would have to find some way- anyway to get free and help his friends. Superman just hoped he could find the strength to do so before yet another hero fell before his captors.
