Warning: Over the years, I have written on several subjects from drug use, rape, S&M, and BDSM. I even added a bit of snuff to one story that people didn’t really mind since the villains were the ones that died. For the first time ever, this story has themes related to incest. Thus, if you find even the slightest inference to the subject too controversial/disgusting for you, then this story is not for you. If you have an open mind and can read this story for what it’s worth, then read on.

A Daughter’s Duty
Version 1
By Night Creeper
“Remind me to retire when this is over,” Commissioner Gordon spoke as he wiped the sweat from his brow. The man and his police force had spent hours fighting the super criminals that had escaped their prison cells. Batman, Robin, and Batgirl were busy assisting the exhausted police force, but the chase had spread through the entire prison for the inmates were truly running the asylum now.
“Me first,” Chief O’Hara smiled back as he reloaded his gun and glanced at the panting officers behind him. He could see the fear and fatigue in their eyes. The man knew why they were afraid. Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, and Two-Face were names that struck fear in most men, but to add names like Clayface, the Mad Hatter, and Killer Croc made the situation much worse, especially when all the major criminals were now running amuck.
“You still have some good years ahead of you, old friend. Besides I need someone to be commissioner once I’m retired,” the white haired man laughed.
“I doubt that. I rather be the police chief than sit in your chair. I still have my natural color in my hair. No need to go all white,” O’Hara smiled.
“Haven’t seen a smile for hours. Alright men! Behind those double doors are some of the worst elements that Gotham City has ever seen. I can’t promise that we’re all going to make it when we break down those doors. But I can promise that the this city will be forever indebted to the heroism that you all showed tonight. Now! Let’s show these criminals whose boss!” Commissioner Gordon shouted as he ran toward the door.
“Yes sir!” Chief O’Hara and the officers shouted as the followed right behind him.

Two Years Later
“Oh dad,” Barbara Gordon laughed as she took the heavy box from her father and placed it on the table. “I can’t believe you kept all these old things.”
“I kept them because they reminded me of you,” the old man smiled. “Besides, this retirement village here in Florida is nothing close to Gotham City. So when my little girl is busy keep the books safe in the big city, I have nothing to remind me of her except these photos.”
“That’s so sweet, but I need you to sit down,” Barbara spoke as she placed her hands on her father’s before they both sat down together on the couch. “I need to ask you something and I want you to tell me the truth.”
“The truth?”
“Promise me that you’ll tell me the truth.”
“I don’t know what you’re getting at, but I promise that I’ll tell the truth. Now, can you tell me what’s going on?”
“A few months ago, Chief O’Hara came down to visit you. When he returned to Gotham City, he said you changed. You couldn’t recall all the old stories and events that you two shared. And I know from my phone conversations with you, you couldn’t remember some of ours. But when I visited you in the past, you had some memory issues too. And now . . . well . . . I’ve been down here for a week now and this is the first time that you’ve shown me these pictures . . .”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” the old man snapped as he pulled his hand away from his daughter’s.
“Please daddy, you promised,” the woman spoke, trying not to cry.
“Look, it’s been hard to remember things these days. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I’m away from my old job. I might even miss the stress. Back in Gotham City, everyone reminded me of things. Here in Florida, only these pictures and newspaper cutouts remind me of my old life,” the old man spoke as he slowly got up from the couch and made his way to the window.
Barbara spent several seconds sitting on the couch, watching and studying her father before she got up. The woman walked over to him and rubbed her hand gently on his shoulder. “Do you want to go back? You can live with me for a few days. My apartment may be small, but it might be able to . . .”
“I don’t want to impose and besides, I’m retired. I don’t need to go back to Gotham City. And there seems to a bit of the city that followed me here. In the last week, the news started reporting that Batgirl is here fighting crime. She’s literally in this small city fighting crime. Must be on vacation or something. It’s funny how she comes down here on a yearly basis. Guess crime fighters have to take a vacation too,” the old man chuckled.
“Don’t change the issue, daddy. I think something is wrong and I think you should check with a doctor.”
“I already did that. I know you try to visit three times a year, but I do have a lot of time on my hands. So I checked with a doctor a few months ago. He did all the tests and wrote his conclusions down for me to read. I read it and I don’t agree with it at all. It’s in my study in a black binder next to the globe. You can read it if you like. As for me, I’m going to bed. If you like, you can wake up around nine tomorrow and we’ll head out to the pancake store. A lot of old timers like to share stories there. That’s all they have to look forward to these days. Goodnight dear,” the former commissioner said as he turned and kissed his daughter on the forehead before making his way to his bedroom and closing his door.
Barbara stood still for a few minutes soaking in all the words before she finally entered the man’s study. She found the binder and began to read the doctor’s findings. After reading the whole report, she closed the binder and cried.

A Week Later
“I have to ask Doctor Claymore, exactly what is the prognosis for my father’s condition?” Barbara Gordon asked the tall man with brown hair and a brown moustache. His brown eyes were a bit magnified by the black spectacles that he wore. Barbara had spoken to the man in the past few days, but this was the first time that she had ever entered his office and seen the man.
“It’s hard to say. It wasn’t easy for him to deal with the fact that he had the dreaded Alzheimer Disease, but he eventually came to terms with it. I’m not sure if he told you, but he use to get lost in his own neighborhood and he has a hard time remembering where he put certain items. I even remember an incident when he drove an old of his to my house by mistake, thinking it was his.”
“O’Hara told me about that incident since he was in the car. I believe my father refused to say he was wrong.”
“Your father is a proud man. However, there is no cure for the disease and he refuses to take any drugs. I’ve tried to contact you, but he refused to supply any family information. It’s as if he wants to be left alone. Basically, without any medication, I can only tell him to do things that keep his brain active. I’ve told him to recite the multiplication table, square roots, favorite poems, facts about favorite places, even gardening. I figure he has to remember weather conditions and other important things in order to keep his garden alive. From what I understand, you’re father has taken my advice, but he hasn’t improved. Instead, he seems to sliding still.”
“In my father’s binder, I read something about a psychiatrist.”
“Dr. Sands. I referred your father to him before we came up with his diagnosis. At first we thought it was stress. We then associated it to the fact that he was no longer active and wanted to get back in the game. I mean when a man fights crime and tries to outsmart the criminals all day long, resting at home, watching the grass grow doesn’t seem very important.”
“That’s daddy,” Barbara chuckled, crackling a smile for the first time since she stepped into the office.
“Exactly. But as time passed, we realized it was serious, but not after he spent a few sessions with Dr. Sands.”
“I tried calling his office, but no one picks up.”
“Dr. Sands is retired. He only took on your father as a favor to me. He’s somewhere sailing around the world right now. However, if you ask me, he’s lost somewhere in a museum.”
“Did you talk to Doctor Sands before he left?”
“Yes,” Doctor Claymore sighed.
“Can you tell me about those conversations?”
“Technically I’m not suppose to.”
“You have to tell me! My father refuses to talk to me ever since I brought up the subject a few days ago!” Barbara cried almost bursting into tears.
“Alright,” the doctor finally spoke as he handed Barbara Gordon a box of tissues. “Doctor Sands believed that your father was very protective of you. Not sure why, but he placed all your photos in a box and couldn’t find it. For the longest time, he could not locate that box. He blamed people left and right and even tore up an office here and there. In the end, he swore he would kill whoever touched his daughter. Then out of the blue, he starts reading this teenage girl magazines, picking out pictures and saying that the outfits that the teens were wearing would look great on his daughter. Around this time, Dr. Sands believed that your father felt like he missed out on parts of your life and wanted to reclaim them. We tried to help him find the box of photos, but it was really unnerving when he realized we were looking for a box filled with pictures of his daughter.”
“I asked him about that box and he eventually found it . . . about a week ago. O’Hara told me about the box and how my father cursed late at night about it when he visited him. I even found all those magazines. He wrote on the side saying how great I would look wearing them.”
“Look Barbara, I think your father loves you very much. Perhaps that’s the part of him that he holds most dear right now. However, I’m going to ask you not to confront him about this or too many things. He may think that by challenging him, you think less of him or worse, he’s forgotten more things and that’s something you don’t want to do. You have to understand he’s scared. He doesn’t want this to happen, but he can’t stop it. All that fear isn’t good for him. And in his condition, he may channel it the wrong way.”
“I know doctor, I know,” Barbara Gordon sighed.

Later That Night
“Daddy. Dad. I’m home!” Barbara Gordon spoke as she entered her father’s house.
“I’m in the study,” the man replied.
“What’s with all the dirt and clay on the floor?” Barbara asked as she saw the piles of dried dirt and clay around the door.
“I was out in the garden earlier. The damn beetles are eating up my flowers. I had to spray them. I stayed on the grass though. I’m pretty sure that I didn’t track any dirt in,” the man called out.
“You use to be so neat,” Barbara said softly before remembering her conversation with Doctor Claymore. “Oh look, there’s clay under my shoe. It must have been me. I’ll clean it up,” Barbara spoke as she grabbed the broom from the closet and began to sweep the dirt out of the house.
“You shouldn’t walk on dirt path then. I’ll see about adding some stones or something tomorrow,” the old man spoke as he descended the steps.
“I can help,” she quickly replied.
“No. I can do it myself,” the man replied as he placed a kiss on her forehead. “I can’t believe I slept so long. I guess that’s what I get for taking a nap in my bedroom.” Barbara wanted to correct him by saying that he said he was in the study earlier, which was on the first floor whereas his bedroom was on the second, but she held back. “I had this great dream, where I remember seeing you compete in the Gotham City Youth Gymnastics Competition. Won first prize if I remember correctly. I was so proud that day. You know, let’s go out and celebrate that victory of yours. Don’t be sad. I know it’s been a while, but don’t say that your old man forgets things. I’ll get my coat. By the way, I bought some outfits for you while you were gone today,” he spoke as he went back upstairs as Barbara tried not to cry.
“I never competed in gymnastics,” the woman mumbled as she put away the broom and looked up the steps, hearing her father happily whistling a tune.

A Week Later
Barbara Gordon and her father, the former Commissioner Gordon, walked down the street, laughing and pointing at the various sites in the strip mall parking lot. Clowns and happy children moved around the parking lot bringing smiles to everyone they met. Cotton candy vendors and roaming magicians added to the festive mood as several small carnival games were erected for the crowd. Hundreds of people showed up for the event and father and daughter had spent hours catching the sites.
“Two ice cream cones,” the old man spoke as he handed a vendor a few bills.
“Here you go. One for you and one for your date,” the vendor replied.
“She’s my daughter,” the grey haired man corrected him with a smile.
“Sorry man. I thought a young buck like yourself would be in the dating pool. Sorry miss, didn’t mean any harm,” the vendor apologized with a smile.
“No, he is rather young,” Barbara Gordon smiled back as she took the ice cream cone from her father and began to lick it before the hot Florida sun could melt it. In the last few days, Barbara had spent most of her days engaging in activities with her father whether it be gardening, shopping, or talking. The woman found that when she referred to past events, her father would become distant. However, when she talked about current events, his eyes would light up. The man’s smile would broaden and eventually engage in jovial conversation, which made Barbara quite happy. Thus with time, the woman hardly broached the past or her father’s problem. Instead, she found herself humoring him whenever his memory failed and began to make up a memory of their past like Barbara and gymnastics. Other times, he simply forgot where he left things or where a restaurant was located. Yet, Barbara never said a thing about it. Instead, she was quite happy to have her loving father around even when he insisted on tucking her in at night and reading her bedtime stories.
“Look at that. He must be having a lot of fun,” the old man laughed as he pointed at a man in his late eighties chatting up with a bunch of Catholic high school girls dressed in their plaid skirts and white shirts. Some even had the pigtails. Each girl was busy talking to the man. After a few minutes, both Gordons realized that the man was the grandfather of one of the girls and was chaperoning.
“That’s so sweet,” Barbara spoke as she walked by and were out of earshot of the pack.
“Sweet?”
“He’s spending time with his daughter.”
“Like us,” Barbara’s father smiled as Barbara held his arm and leaned her head against his shoulder.
*****
Two Days Later
“I can’t wear this in public,” Barbara Gordon groaned to herself as she stared at her reflection in the mirror. The woman was dressed in a sexy two piece schoolgirl outfit that included tie-front white shirt top and short plaid skirt. She also wore a pair of opaque nylon over- the-knee stockings. Her hair was even braided in pigtails.
“Can I come in?” her father knocked on the door only to have it open.
“Dadd . . .” the woman stuttered as the door creaked all the way open.
“I’m sorry, honey,” her father replied as he looked hurt and began to close the door.
“It’s not your fault,” Barbara quickly replied as she ran up to him and held his hand. “I should have closed the door all the way. Don’t worry. I’m not made,” she tried to reassure him.
“No. I can sense it in your voice. I didn’t mean to . . . it just opened . . . I wou . . .”
“It’s okay, daddy. Really.”
“You don’t like the outfit?”
“Well . . .”
“I’m sorry. I know you hate it. It’s just that I heard you compliment the grandfather and his granddaughter . . . and I thought that . . . that you wanted to dress like the granddau . . .”
Barbara Gordon could see the hurt look on her father’s face. She didn’t want to hurt his feelings. The woman remembered his facial reaction when he saw the old man and his granddaughter with her friends at the makeshift fair. She remembered how both of them were laughing. The laughter rubbed off on the Gordons, who also laughed, and teased each other. Of course, she was the one that said that the outfit was cute. Her comments lead to her father taking a few hours of his day to go shopping and buy her an outfit. He took the time to buy it, not knowing that his daughter really didn’t care much for the outfit. Instead, she was referring the old man’s relationship with his granddaughter, who wasn’t ashamed to be around him with all her friends. “I don’t . . .”
“You don’t like it. I know. I’m sorry. You’re ashamed of me for even buying it. I’m sorry,” the retired man spoke as he pulled away from Barbara.
His words hurt the woman, who quickly grabbed her father’s hand. “No it’s not that. You didn’t let me finish. I was saying that I don’t have the proper shoes to go with this outfit,” she quickly blurted out.
“Really?” her father replied as he raised his head and stared at his daughter’s eyes.
“Really,” Barbara replied, not wanting to hurt his feeling.
“I should have bought a pair. I’m sorry,” the man replied as he cast his eyes back down on the ground.
“No daddy. It’s okay,” Barbara spoke as she pulled her father into her room and began to rub his arm. “I really do like this outfit. In fact, let’s go to the mall and buy a pair of shoes. Okay?”
“Anything for you dear,” the retired man spoke as he kissed his daughter on the forehead. The kiss made Barbara swallow her pride as she knew that she would have to keep the outfit on when shopping for shoes so that she wouldn’t hurt her father’s feelings again.

A Week Later
“When I'm not with you I lose my mind. Give me a sign. Hit me baby one more time,” Barbara Gordon sang as she danced in front of her father. She was dressed like a the pop diva was during her original schoolgirl outfit from her first video. Barbara tried to imitate the diva’s dance moves as she sang. The woman had watched the video a few times and didn’t quite understand why her father liked it so much. In fact, she wasn’t sure why her father liked schoolgirl outfits, but she associated it to the old man and his granddaughter from the fair. Barbara although reluctant at first to wear the schoolgirl outfits was more willing to nowadays since her father was always smiling and it seemed harmless enough. Besides, shopping with her father was a lot of fun and it did seem like his memory was coming back at times, which raised the her hopes and made things more acceptable.
“Bravo!” her father clapped as he stood up. “I wished I could have made it to more of your activities, but being police chief was so hard back then.”
“I know daddy. The Police Commissioner job took a lot of your time,” Barbara corrected him in the softest tone that she could muster.
“Bonnie always did tell me that I should take more time off. Speaking of time, I need to tend to that garden,” the man spoke as he exited the front door.
Barbara waited several minutes after her father had left and clasped her hands in glee. “He remembered his secretaries name! That’s definitely a good sign,” she giggled gleefully as she went up the steps to take a shower.
A few minutes pass and Barbara Gordon is inside the shower stall. The woman stands underneath the stream of hot water that soothes her body. As the water cascades down her body, the woman massages her own neck with her hands. Barbara sighed and closed her eyes before tilting her backwards allowing the water to hit her face. She moved her hands to her head and began to run her fingers through her hair, making sure that it got wet. Without moving her head, the woman reached up and grabbed the shampoo bottle. She then opened the bottle and began to mix the shampoo into her hair after placing the bottle back. Then the woman began to hum a song as she washed her hair. “Oops, I did . . .”
“Grrrr!”
“What was that?” the woman thought to herself as she tried to wash the shampoo from her face as another angry growl was heard before loud bang against the plastic shower door. The banging sound only increased in volume and frequency. Within a few seconds, Barbara washed the shampoo from her eyes only to see a large alligator outside the shower stall, ramming its snout against the door.
“Grrrrr!” it angrily snarled as it pulled its head back and rammed its snout, cracking part of the door.
“NOOOO!!! HELP!!!” Barbara screamed as she watched the gator turn and swing its tail against the door, breaking it. The alligator then turned and tried to get its snout through the crack, but Barbara screamed for help and pushed the other door, trapping the gator as it angrily snarled and tried to free itself.
“OH MY GOD!” Barbara’s dad panted as he ran into the bathroom and saw the scene before him.
“NO!” Barbara shouted as she covered herself up with her hands only to have the alligator force the door open and enter the shower stall.
“NOOO!” the old man shouted as he quickly ran toward the shower and yanked his daughter out of the shower. Barbara crashed into her father’s chest and tried to pull away, but a quick snap of the gator’s tail, sent both individuals crashing to the ground. The naked woman landed squarely on top of her father as the gator snarled. The former commissioner gripped Barbara’s buttocks and tossed her to the side as he quickly kicked the shower door, once again, trapping the alligator.
“Daddy!” the woman shouted as she ran back to him and tried to pull him away. She could see the head of the alligator dangerously close to the man’s left arm. Barbara pulled on her dad’s right arm only to have him pull it back, making the woman fall on top of him once more.
“Get out of here, Barbara!”
“Not without you!” she shouted as she got to her knees.
“Get out!” the man shouted as he looked up at her. “Get out of here! Call Animal Control or something!” the old man shouted as he moved his other leg into position and tried to hold the door closed as the alligator thrashed about. “I can’t keep this door closed forever! At least make the call before you come back to help me!”
“Okay,” the woman agreed as she ran out of the bathroom.
*****
Four Days Later
Barbara Gordon sighed as she cleaned up the house. She had just put her own father to bed almost two hours ago. For the last four days, her father spent a great deal of time crying and apologizing to her. He even had her sit on the couch as he knelt before her and apologized. Eventually, he rested his head in his daughter’s lap as she tried to reassure him that everything was okay. Barbara knew it wasn’t her father’s fault. He had no idea that an alligator would nudge the front door open while he was tending to his garden. Besides when she needed his help, he was there. The only thing that the woman regretted was that her father saw her naked and worse yet, her instinct to cover up could have gotten them both killed. And to make matters worse, she could still hear her father’s voice in her head apologizing. Especially since she had accepted his apology numerous times and told him not to worry. However, she found him worrying about it all the time, so much that he didn’t want to leave the house or even his room. Barbara had to cheer him up, but didn’t know how.
“I tried singing and buying some of my own outfits, but he’s just not into them anymore. There has to be something,” the woman sighed again as she entered her father’s study. Barbara glanced around and began to placed the books back on the shelves. Once she was done, she turned her attention to his desk. She found several magazines and out of curiosity, she began to thumb through them. Barbara was shocked to see that some of them had lingerie and revealing swimsuits in them. She was even more shocked to see her father’s notes on several pages saying how his daughter would love the outfits. Barbara couldn’t believe what she saw, but as she put the magazine down, she knew what she could do to cheer him up.
*****
Two Weeks Later
“I’m glad that you could meet me on such a short notice, Dr. Claymore,” Barbara Gordon spoke as she sat before the man, who was busy looking at various charts and notes. The man seemed a bit worried, which only made Barbara more anxious.
“I’m not sure what has been happening, but after talking to your father, he seems rather distant. Not only that, but his health is really beginning to suffer. Has he been taking care of himself?” Dr. Claymore inquired as he picked up another chart.
“He’s been depressed as of late. He hardly leaves the house.”
“I thought you said that you two have been getting along.”
“We did, but he felt he did something wrong and now he’s depressed about it.”
“You have to cheer him up then. If you don’t, I’m going to have to prescribe some sort of medication for him, because I can’t have his health deteriorate like this. In fact, he seems to have developed high blood pressure now. The numbers are incredibly high and it seems to be developing at a rapid rate too. I saw him last week and it was just slightly over and now it’s just plain scary,” the doctor spoke as he put the chart down and rested his head in his hands. “It just doesn’t add up. It’s like if he’s given up.”
“Don’t worry doctor. I’ll see what I can do to cheer him up.”
“You do that. Just remember, I need to see your father every week for a checkup. If he doesn’t want to see me, you’re going to have to drag him here. Understand?”
“I understand and trust me, I’ll make sure he comes here once a week.”
*****
Later that Night
“Commissioner Gordon?” a female voice asked from the bedroom door of the old man’s bedroom.
“Who is it?” the man asked as he saw the door open all the way.
“Noone special,” Batgirl replied as she entered the man’s bedroom, made her way to him, and sat down on his bed next to the man.
“Batgirl,” the man spoke as he saw the famous crime fighter in his own bedroom. He glanced at her light purple spandex suit with bat logo with a cowl to match. He smiled when he saw her shiny yellow boots and gloves. Of course, the cape brought a huge smile to his face. “You’re a real sight for sore eyes,” the man spoke with a huge smile on his face.
“I heard that you’ve fallen on some hard times.”
“I’ve been depressed and mad at myself,” the old man replied as his gaze hit the sheets.
“Care to tell me about it?”
“In Gotham City, things were so different. I tried my best to protect the entire city and the people who lived there. But most importantly, I tried to protect Barbara, my daughter. I always wanted the best for her. I use to be scared out of my mind when I heard that she was going out on dates. Eventually, I thought it was weird that she wasn’t, which is why I tried so hard to get her to date Bruce Wayne. The man had style and a philanthropist. Not to mention a good friend. He could have provided a good life for her . . . better than the one she has now,” the old man began to sob.
“I think her life is pretty good. What would make you think differently?”
“Look at me. I’m a mess. I can barely remember things and now, my own daughter is stuck here in my retirement home, watching over me instead of enjoying life. When I was police commissioner, I always wanted to spend more time with her. Now that I’m retired, I want to spend time with her, but I know I’m just wasting her time. She should be out and about. She should be dating or hanging out with friends. A young woman like her shouldn’t have to be stuck here with an old man, who almost killed her.”
“Killed her?”
“I left the front door ajar and an alligator broke into the house. It came upstairs and tried to eat her. And it’s all my fault!”
“No! Get a hold of yourself. Your daughter loves you and that’s why she’s here. You’re not forcing her to be here. She wants to be here.”
“You don’t know that!”
“Yes I do. She’s the one who convinced me to visit you in the first place. Now believe me, she loves you and none of this your fault. Understand?” Batgirl asked as she pulled the man’s hands away from his crying face.
“Yea,” he finally replied. “Thanks.”
“Don’t mention it. Good luck, Commissioner Gordon,” the heroine spoke as she stood up from the bed and walked to the door.
“I’m retired.”
“Perhaps so, but you’ll always be Commissioner Gordon to me,” Batgirl smiled as she closed the door and left.

Five Days Later
Barbara Gordon stood by her bedroom window, staying behind the curtain as she stared down at the workers busily working in her father’s backyard. A huge wooden fence that was about the height of the house’s first floor was being erected in the backyard, surrounding the entire property. In the middle of the backyard, a large swimming pool was being built with a jacuzzi on the side. There was a diving board and plenty of room for chairs and tables in the backyard. Barbara had spoken to her father about the pool and the fence. Her father wanted the fence built to keep alligators out. James Gordon wanted to build a high fence around the front yard as well, but Barbara vetoed the idea. Instead, a small white fence was installed long before the workers started working in the backyard. The white fence was a compromise that Barbara agreed to only after seeing how highly irritable her father had become. In fact, Barbara would often agree or compromise with her father to avoid putting him in a foul mood. For the most part, it was working, especially since he finally agreed to visit the doctor on a weekly basis. However, she also knew that it was due to Batgirl’s visit and the fact that the crime fighter had shown up three out of the five past few days.
“How is everything going out there?” Barbara’s father inquired as he entered her bedroom only after knocking on the door panel.
“As scheduled,” Barbara replied, glancing back only for a second, flashing her bright smile before turning her attention back to the workers.
“Are you sure you don’t want to close your bedroom door?”
“Daddy. We have been over this a thousand time. You want to make sure that I am safe, so I agreed to have the two fences built. Since that wasn’t enough . . .”
“You think I am paranoid, don’t you?” the man asked as his gaze hit the floor.
“Not paranoid,” Barbara replied as she turned to face her father. The woman gripped the man’s cheeks and pulled his head up. “I know you’re concerned about my welfare and if keeping my bedroom door open and allowing you to see me in here makes you think that I am safe, then so be it. I don’t want you to worry about me and I’m sure that you don’t want me to worry about you. That’s why you’ll see Dr. Claymore today, right?”
“Sure . . . I’ll see that quack of a doctor.”
“He’s not a quack. He’s good. Your blood pressure is dropping and you’re not complaining about headaches anymore. Your memory is better too,” Barbara spoke before realizing that she let the words slip.
“I . . . I . . .” the old man replied as he pulled away from his daughter and slowly made his way to the door with his shoulders slumped.
“Wait!” Barbara shouted as she chased after her father and hugged him from behind, planting herself against him just before he got to the door. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it that way,” she quickly apologized.
“No. You’re right. I’m just an aging man who can barely remember a thing,” her father replied.
“NO!! You’re not old. You’re still young. That’s why we’re having a pool installed! You’re going to do laps with me across the pool. The remodeled basement will be perfect for my gymnastics and any dancing that you like to participate in,” Barbara spoke, knowing full well that she never did gymnastics in the past.
“No. I’m old.”
“No you’re not!” Barbara angrily replied as she released her father and spun him around. “We’ve talked about the people that you cared about. We saw their pictures in the various photo albums. We talked about their whereabouts and life experiences. You remember all that! You’re not forgetful! And you’re not old!”
“Thanks,” the man spoke as he kissed his daughter on the forehead, but there was still some sadness in his voice.
“You’re going to sit right here, young man,” Barbara spoke as she moved her father to her bed and sat him down. She then closed her bedroom door and drew up the curtains as well. The woman then grabbed a photo album from her dresser and placed it on her father’s lap. “I’ve seen some of the magazines in your study. I saw your notes next to some of the circled outfits. I took the initiative and bought some of them and added them to schoolgirl outfits that you bought me. I’ll give you the proper fashion show later, but for now, you’re going to sit there and go through that album. You can pick the outfit that I wear when I sing to you. Now daddy, your daughter is going to get dressed and sing a special song for the incredibly young man sitting on her bed. And don’t leave or I’m going to be very sad,” Barbara spoke as she entered her bathroom and closed the door behind her.
The old man thumbed through the album and saw that his daughter had acquired every outfit that he circled. His hands shook as he continued to thumb through the pages. The man lost track of time as he eventually closed the book and shook his head in disgust. He then dropped the album on the floor and made his way to the bathroom door. Without thinking, he opened the door and saw his daughter topless. “OH MY GOD!! I’M SO SORRY!” the old man yelled as he froze, not sure what to do.
“DADDY!” Barbara roared as she quickly covered herself up.
“I’m so sorry!! I should have knocked!! I don’t know what came over me!! I’m sorry!” the man cried as his hands shook. The man sobbed and quickly turned around.
Barbara Gordon was sobbing too due to the pain and anguish on her father’s face. The woman felt a great amount of guilt as she realized that she had hurt her father yet again. She felt as if she had been stabbed in heart. The woman couldn’t bear to see him so upset. Thus almost instinctively, the woman ran up to him and spun him around. “It’s okay, daddy. You raised me from a child. It’s okay! It’s not your fault. I keep my door open so you don’t have to knock. It’s not your fault. I’m alright!” the woman spoke as she stood topless in front of her father.
“NO! This is wrong! So wrong!” the man shouted back.
“It’s okay daddy! I’m not mad! Look, no angry face! It’s okay! Sit down on the bed as I finish up here. Go ahead,” she spoke softly, squeezing her father’s hand and felt a rush of relief when his tears began to slow.
“I . . . I . . .” the man stuttered as he backed out of the room.
“It’s okay. I’ll keep the door open. Your daughter is safe. Don’t worry,” she reassured him as she made sure that her black thong was secure. Barbara watched her father slowly make his way to her bed. Once he was seated, she began to dress the remaining parts of her outfit. The woman quickly slipped in and rolled up her black sheet stockings over her legs. She then slipped on a black garter belt over her thong and connected the two straps from the stockings to the belt. Once the straps were secure, she wrapped her breasts in a black underwire bra with two thin straps going over her shoulders. She was now completely dressed in a three piece pink satin ribbon trimmed outfit. The only thing missing were shoes. “See daddy, I’m alright,” Barbara reassured her father as she stepped out of the bathroom. The woman smiled as she mentally scolded herself for averse reaction earlier. Barbara then sang the opening lyrics to a pop song and saw her father smile. That was enough motivation for the woman to continue singing while dancing in the outfit in front of her father, trying to make all his sorrow and regret disappear.
*****
Two Days Later
Barbara Gordon stepped into the shower and turned on the warm water. She felt it splash against her exhausted body. The woman had begun practicing gymnastics in the basements. She had worked on her flexibility and balance. Barbara also worked on her cardiovascular development as well. Two days ago, she resigned as the librarian of the Gotham City Library and she knew that her crime fighting days were also numbered due to the fact that she needed to tend to her father. Currently, her father was visiting Doctor Claymore, getting his weekly physical. As for her, she could relax for a few hours.
“I have to keep him in a good mood,” she reminded herself as she began to lather herself up. The woman remembered the happy smile on her dad’s face as he knew that she was safe. Everyday he would survey the fence as the workers installed it. He wanted to make sure that the boards were deep enough that the alligators couldn’t dig under the fence or force it apart. “He means well and if I have to wear some of those skimpy outfits to keep him happy, so be it. He would do it for me, so why shouldn’t I do it for him?”
As Barbara continued to wallow in her own thoughts, a large snake was slowly slithering out of the vent near the shower. Slowly the snake made its way onto the metal frame that kept the shower doors in place. Its tongue extended and retracted quickly, trying to figure out the environment. The snake saw its prey and began to coil on top of the frame. There, it waited for the right moment to strike.
Luckily for Barbara Gordon, she accidentally dropped the bar of soap. She knelt down to pick it up at the same moment that the snake lunged for her. The snake’s fangs hit the porcelain wall of the shower and knocked itself loopy as screamed and dropped the soap. She quickly moved to the door and tried to open it. Unfortunately for Barbara, the door had a hard time opening and closing ever since the alligator incident. Barbara screamed for help as she tried to open the door.
As Barbara wrestled with the door, the snake was busy collecting its senses. Luckily for Barbara, the shower head was still sending a large burst of steamy hot water, which annoyed the snake, keeping it at bay. The snake pulled itself all the way to the back of the shower to cool off, keeping its eyes locked on the screaming woman. The scared woman looked at the snake and became even more frantic as she saw the snake bare its fangs. Suddenly, the snake lunged at her yet again.
“Look out!” James Gordon shouted as he slammed open the door and pulled his daughter out of the shower. Once again the snake hit the porcelain and knocked itself loopy. This gave the old man a chance to slam the door, trapping the snake inside the shower. “Are you okay?” the man asked his dripping wet daughter.
“Daddy!” the woman exclaimed as she hugged her father, pressing her body against his. “Thank you!”
“Grab a towel,” her father replied as both of them heard footsteps rushing up the stairs.
Within minutes, several workers from the backyard were inside Barbara’s bathroom with a large duffle bag and several shovels hoes. The first worker saw the snake and requested that his coworkers bring up the tools while James Gordon comforted his daughter, who had wrapped herself up in a large white towel. Another worker was busy on the phone with Animal Control, informing the operator of the address and an update of the situation.
“Alright boss, we got it,” a worker replied as two other workers carried the duffle bag out of the bathroom and eventually out of the house.
“How did that thing get inside the house?” the old man asked as his daughter clung to him as they sat on the bed together.
“I don’t know, sir. There’s a chance that with all the work in the backyard, we may have disturbed the snake. With all the material outside, it may have gotten in . . .”
“Oh my! I left the door in the basement open!” Barbara sobbed.
“I’ll go close it. Animal Control can check out the house when they arrive,” the worker spoke as the old man nodded and tended to his daughter.
*****
Later that Night
The former Commissioner, James Gordon surveyed his daughter’s closet. He saw several sensible clothes like dresses, blouses, jeans, and slacks. Then he saw some outfits that looked more like clothes for a teenage club hopper. Of course, there were also several schoolgirl outfits inside. He even saw some lingerie ensembles as well as bikinis. The old man shook his head as he closed the closet door. “You didn’t have to buy all those especially for me,” he grumbled softly, making sure that his daughter couldn’t hear him.
“Daddy,” Barbara called him from the bathroom.
“Yes Barbara,” the old man replied as he entered the bathroom and saw his daughter staring up at the vent. “It’s okay dear. The workers made sure that there weren’t any openings and Animal Control checked the house. I even got some cleaners to clean to vents. I’m pretty sure that there are no snakes in the vents. Besides, the workers fixed the shower door so it won’t lock up like that ever again. I promise you that you’ll be safe,” the man replied as he planted a kiss on his daughter’s forehead.
“But . . .”
“I’ll be right outside if you need any help.”
“But . . .”
“The door is perfectly safe now,” the old man spoke as he opened and closed the door without any problems. “The door is fixed. It will open and close whenever you want now,” Barbara’s father spoke as he kept the door open and headed out of the bathroom.
“Wait,” Barbara spoke as she grabbed the man’s hand. “Stay and make sure.”
“Alright,” the man reluctantly agreed.
“Thank you,” Barbara smiled as she started the water and took off her robe. The woman then stepped inside the shower without closing the door. She stood perfectly still as the water cascaded down her body. The woman then glanced at her father and smiled as she stood before him, completely nude. The man blushed and she smiled. Then she turned and allowed the warm jet of water to hit her directly across her chest while her hands wrapped around her stomach. The water splashed against her breasts as she stood there and enjoyed the warmth of the water. After a few seconds, Barbara turned her back on the jet of water and raised her hands above her head as she tilted her head back. The water splashed against her hair and forehead as the woman ran her fingers through her hair. Barbara eventually turned to face her father as she grabbed the soap. She then lathered up her breasts with the soap before spreading it all over her body.
“I should go,” the man turned his face away.
Barbara looked up at the vent and her lip quivered. “No,” she groaned as her dad glanced back at and saw the fear in her eyes.
“Take your shower then,” Barbara’s father replied as he walked up the shower and stared at the vent, trying not to look at the shower itself, waiting for his own cheeks to return to their normal color.
“Thanks,” Barbara spoke as she raised her leg and caressed her thigh with her soapy hands. She repeated the process with her other leg before allowing the water to blast her chest again. The woman wasn’t afraid of the vent, not with her dad looking up at it. And even though, the her father wouldn’t admit it, he felt safer looking up at the vent as well.

Two Months Later
“I have to say Barbara, your father is making progress. His health is much better and he even has a tan now. At first, I thought his muscles were going to degenerate, but they’ve developed. His health has improved and he seems more energetic too. He does have some high and lows though. For example roughly a month ago and two weeks ago, his blood pressure increased and his memory faded,” Doctor Claymore spoke as he read his notes.
“Daddy and I had an argument around those times,” Barbara Gordon replied. “But like you requested, I tried to compromise with him and it seems to be working.”
“Working? I think it’s a miracle. I haven’t seen him like this in years. The only thing is that his memory might be failing even more now,” the doctor spoke as he shook his head.
“WHAT? HOW?”
“He says he’s seen Batgirl. That can’t be true. She fights crime in Gotham City.”
“He has seen Batgirl, Dr. Claymore. She has visited him on occasion. In fact, three times in the last two months.” Barbara replied with a great deal of relief.
“Wow. Impressive. Your dad has mentioned that you both have shared a lot of moments together in the last two months. According to him, you’ve taken up gymnastics again, both of you swim each day and work on your tans, and most importantly, he says he tucks you in and reads bedtime stories to you. Of course, he can’t read stories when you’re clubbing though. He isn’t crazy about that, but he doesn’t seem to mind too much.”
“He wanted me to go out so I did.”
“I’m not sure why he isn’t upset about it though.”
“Batgirl visits him some times when I’m out. He seems to like that.”
“That might not be good for him though.”
“Why is that?”
“Your father seems to have an unhealthy fascination with Batgirl.”
“What?”
“Your father seems to have an unhealthy fascination with Batgirl.”
“What do you mean?”
“To be honest with you, I don’t know. But according to Doctor Sands, your father has an unhealthy fascination with Batgirl. I’ve never seen the report nor have I’ve been given the specifics, but Dr. Sands wanted me to tread the subject very lightly if at all with your father.”
“Do you know if I can contact Dr. Sands?”
“I told you, I don’t know. I do know that he and I both gave your father our recommendations. I’m sure your father has the report somewhere in his house. I’m not saying you should steal it or anything, but according to you, he did show you my report on his own free will, so maybe he’ll do it again except this time, he’ll show you the report from Dr. Sands.”
“I’ll check with father.”
“By the way, Barbara. Your father said that you were going to pay all the medical bills for him now. Is that correct?”
“I . . . I can, but we haven’t really discussed it.”
“Maybe it slipped his mind. Once again, something for you both to talk about. Anyway, take this, it’s the bill,” the man spoke as he handed Barbara a white printout. “I’ll mail the real bill to you later in the week. That’s just what he hasn’t paid in the last two months. Since he does have Alzheimer Disease, I won’t charge the late fee, but if you’re taking over, I will have to do that in the future. I hope you understand.”
“I understand. I’ll make sure you’re paid on time.”
*****
Two Months Later
“Commissioner Gordon, I really think you should talk to your daughter,” Batgirl implored the old man as he laid in his bed.
“I can’t Batgirl. My daughter and I often sunbath in the backyard, but we had a huge fight two nights ago,” the man spoke as his hands shook.
Batgirl sat down on the man’s bed and placed her hand on his shoulder, trying to calm him down. Batgirl was aware of the argument, but she was pretending that she didn’t know since her father had no idea that his daughter, Barbara Gordon was Batgirl. “Can you tell me about the argument?”
“It was about the doctor’s bills. I totally forgotten to tell Barbara to pay the bills. In order to get the pool and fences, I paid a lot of money and didn’t have enough from my monthly pension checks to pay the doctor fees. Thus, I wanted to ask Barbara if I could borrow some money. However, she insists on paying it all for me. Barbara doesn’t have an income anymore. She quit her job in order to stay down here with me. A woman like Barbara should not have to quit her job to stay with her old man. She should be enjoying life like she is tonight, clubbing with her friends. Barbara should not be wasting her time taking care of me. In fact, she told me she was going to see if she could get a job down here. I told her to go back to her city and her life. She didn’t like that,” the old man began to sob.
“Are you okay?” Batgirl asked as she rubbed his shoulder.
“I’m okay, but Barbara isn’t. I can see how much she doesn’t like spending her life here. I gave her a friendly pat on her rear a few days ago and she shot me an angry look. I’m so confused by her. I wanted to keep her safe, so she keeps her bedroom door open and she even showered in front of me once in the nude. I didn’t want to watch, but she looked so afraid. She stared at the vent and shook in fear. It’s all my fault. I should have called trappers to inspect the backyard before hiring the workers. Now, she’s afraid to take a shower at times. I can’t even look at her when she’s in the shower. It’s all my fault that she’s afraid. It’s all my fault that I had to see my daughter naked in the shower. It’s all my fault.”
“It’s not your fault. I’m sure she doesn’t have any hard feelings about that.”
“I don’t kn . . .”
“Commissioner Gordon, you’ve raised a strong woman in your daughter. Trust her. You made her feel safe that day.”
“You’re right Batgirl. I should trust her. Thank you for your help,” the old man replied.
“Now go to sleep. I’m sure your daughter will be home soon,” Batgirl spoke as she smiled at the man and left.
*****
Three Days Later
“All that hard work. I’m ready for a shower!” Barbara Gordon spoke as she planted the shovel back into the ground while her father patted down the soil around the bush and stood up.
“I guess we’re done,” he smiled as he entered the house followed by his daughter. Once she was inside, the man locked the door. “No alligator is coming in here today.”
“No alligator will ever come into this house. Especially with you around,” Barbara smiled as caressed her father’s sweaty cheek. The woman was so happy to see the loving face of her father staring back at her.
“Better take your shower then,” the old man spoke as he planted a kiss on the woman’s forehead before patting her on the tush as she headed up the steps. Barbara wasn’t very happy about the pat on her buttocks, but she wasn’t going to say anything at the moment. Instead, she was going to take her shower.
In a matter of minutes, Barbara Gordon with her back turned, stood beneath the jet of the hot, steam inducing water. The suds of the shampoo rolled over her eyes as she tilted her head and ran her fingers through her thick black hair. Her back was arched as she thrust her chest forward. The woman kept her balance without any problem as her right hand searched for the soap. Within seconds, the woman was busy lathering her body with soap as the water continued to caress her face and warm her body. She could feel the flow of hot water enveloping her body, relaxing her muscles. The entire day’s drudgery were being washed away like the dirt on her body. Barbara lost track of time as the shampoo and soap had long left her body. That’s when she opened her eyes and saw her father standing in the bathroom, looking at her. “What the?!” the woman gasped as she tried to cover herself up, losing her balance as she rammed her back against the shower wall.
“Are you okay?” the old man inquired as he opened the shower door and helped his daughter to her feet.
“What are you doing in here?” Barbara screamed at her father as she brushed his hands away before covering herself up.
“You told me to keep an eye on you when you showered,” the man quickly replied. “And how do I know that you’re not doing things with young men when you’re on your dates. They could be abusing your body,” he added as he pointed at her heaving breasts.
“I only asked you once! That was because of the snake! And I can take care of myself when guys are concerned! I’m also not that kind of woman!” Barbara snarled.
“Calm down. You’re overreacting,” the man replied calmly as he turned off the water.
“I am not overreacting! I don’t mind if you want to keep my bedroom door open! I don’t care about that! But the shower is my private place! You’re not allowed here!”
“It is my house . . .”
“I don’t care! This is my bathroom! You don’t belong here! I asked you in once only to make sure that no more snakes were in the vents! Right now, there are no more snakes in the vents! That means you don’t belong here!”
“I’m sorry Barbara. I didn’t know,” the old man replied as his lips quivered.
“You should be sorry!” Barbara quickly snapped.
“I’m sorry. I was just trying to help. I’ll leave now,” Barbara’s father spoke hoarsely as tears welled in his eyes. The old man turned and closed his eyes, his hands shut up to his forehead and he squeezed his head.
“You should be sorry! And you better leave now!” Barbara snapped as she saw her father stop dead in his tracks. “What are you waiting for? Go!” the woman roared. Yet, her father just stood there with his back turned to her. The old man didn’t say a word and he didn’t move either as his eyes slammed shut and his mouth was agape. His fingertips turned white as they pressed against his forehead and that’s when he fell to his knees and collapsed onto the ground. “Oh my god!” Barbara shouted as she rushed to her father, the anger had totally disappeared.
*****
Four Hours Later
“Is he alright?” a crying Barbara Gordon inquired as Dr. Claymore entered the house.
“He’s fine. Just a minor stroke. He should be back on his feet in no time. There doesn’t seem to be any prolong damage. Currently, his speech is a bit slurred, but he still has his motor skills. However, he won’t tell me what happened. Can you tell me what happened?” the doctor asked as he closed the door and sat down beside the crying woman on the couch.
“We had a fight,” Barbara sobbed.
“Over what?”
“I can’t tell you that, but it was heated. He was trying to help and I snapped at him. I could have killed him. It’s all my fault!”
“Now Barbara, calm down. Don’t become hysterical here. You’re father is okay right now. They are still doing some tests on him. They’ll keep him under observation for a few days. Maybe longer if needed, but he’ll be okay. He’s not dying and it’s not your fault.”
“Then why did he tell the paramedics that he didn’t want me to follow him? Why did he in all that pain tell them to make sure that I didn’t follow? He even forbid me to visit him at the hospital. He blames me! He blames me!”
“He doesn’t blame you, Barbara,” the doctor spoke softly as he rubbed the woman’s shoulder. “You told me yourself that your father is a proud man and when he was in charge at Gotham City, he was always in great health. I believe you’re father didn’t want you to see him in that condition. I think your father didn’t want you to worry when they take him to the emergency room and keep you outside in the waiting area. I bet he was doing it for your own welfare.”
“His eyes . . . his eyes . . . he was blaming me with his eyes.”
“I’m sure he wasn’t. He was probably more worried about your welfare than his. Besides, if your father didn’t love you, he wouldn’t have told me to come here and see you. My only request Barbara is that you not mention this incident and try not to argue with him. I don’t know what the argument was, but I do know that your father’s health is nowhere near what it use to be. Undue stress can make things hard for him. I’m not going to lie to you, Barbara. I don’t know how long your father will last, but I do know that arguing with him is not going to help things at all. Understand?”
“I understand. Thank you,” Barbara sobbed.
“Now I’m heading back to the hospital. If anything happens, I will call you. And since you said that your father advised you to stay here, I think it would be a good idea to obey his wishes. There’s no need to set him off again,” the doctor spoke as Barbara quickly nodded.
*****
Two Weeks Later
“Are you okay?” Barbara Gordon asked her father as he laid in bed. Her father didn’t react as he turned his head and stared at the window. Earlier in the day, Barbara had another fight with her father about paying the doctor’s bill. The woman knew that her father didn’t have the funds to pay, so she had to step in. Yet, she couldn’t say anything, because she kept on remembering the report that Dr. Sands wrote and she remembered the conversation she had with Dr. Claymore. For months, the woman searched for the report in her father’s study. She often waited for him to be asleep before she fumbled around the study looking for it. Barbara wasn’t proud of the snooping, but she convinced herself that it was for her dad’s own good. And the night before, she finally found it and read it as a few passages stuck in her mind.
“I don’t know why,” Dr. Sands wrote in the report. “But James Gordon thinks that Batgirl would look good in a midriff top, bikini bottoms, and no cape. Additionally, the patient says he wants to see Batgirl perform a strip tease or routine for him before he dies. This seems outrageous, but I am having a hard time figuring this out. It could be Alzheimer Disease and it might not. I’m not sure and I am convinced that the patient doesn’t know either.”
“No,” the old man replied, bringing Barbara back to the present.
“Do you want something to drink?” Barbara asked.
“No.”
“Something to eat?”
“No.”
“Anything.”
“Just leave me alone. Go back to Gotham City where you belong.”
“This isn’t about the doctor’s bill. This is about us.”
“What?” the old man spoke as he turned and saw his daughter standing next to his bed. He could see the woman wearing a black wet-look string bikini set that consisted of a wet-look string side thong and criss-cross string top. “What are you talking about?”
“I don’t mind you patting my rear,” Barbara spoke as she grabbed her father’s hand and slapped it on her rear.
“NO!” the old man yelled as he tried to pull his hand back.
“No daddy. You’re going to have to get use to this just as you are going to need to get use to having me live here with you. Basically, I’m going to take care of you now. So get use to this,” Barbara replied as she gripped her father’s wrist and kept his hand on her butt.
“Barb . . . Barbara please,” the man begged.
“You’re going to have to get use to this and me,” Barbara spoke as she released the man’s hand and then took off her top.
“Barbara!” the man yelled as he saw his daughter trying to take the bottom off. “Okay! You win! You can pay the bill!”
“Thank you, daddy,” Barbara smiled as she kissed her father before presenting her breasts for his examination.
*****
A Week Later
“Hello Commissioner Gordon!” Batgirl spoke as she entered the old man’s bedroom. The old man’s eyes almost popped out of his eyes as he saw Batgirl walking toward him. He couldn’t believe that the woman was a wearing a purple midriff top, purple bikini bottoms, her purple cowl, her yellow boots and gloves, but no cape. “Do you like this?” the woman asked as she stood next to the bed, spinning around a few times for the man to get a good look.
“It’s great,” the man replied with less enthusiasm than what Batgirl was hoping for since she was hoping to pop her father from his week long depression.
“Are you okay?” Batgirl inquired as she knelt next to the bed that the old man was lying in.
“I’m okay. It’s Barbara that I am worried about,” the man replied almost ready to cry.
“Why is that?”
“She quit her job in Gotham City to spend time with me down here. Who am I kidding? She quit her job in order to live down here and take care of me,” the man moaned as he sat up in his bed and sobbed into his hands.
Batgirl stood up and sat down next to the man. She pressed her shoulder against his and laid his head on her shoulder as she tried to reassure by stroking his left shoulder while trying to pry his hands away from his face. “You should be happy that she is here with you,” Batgirl spoke, trying to reassure the man.
“You don’t understand. I love her. I don’t mind her living with me. But it’s all really hopeless. I’m not going to remember any of this soon and I’m going die without remembering who she is and what she has done for me all these weeks. I’m not going to remember her childhood, graduation, and all the other special events. Not to mention that most of my retirement money will go into paying all those medical bills. She wanted me to get tested on a weekly basis and it’s eating away at my savings. Barbara made me agree to let her pay for some, but it’s eating at her savings now and she still has decades of life before her. There’s no reason why she should ruin her life because of me,” the man continued to sob as his tears soaked his shirt.
“It’s obvious that you love your daughter,” Batgirl spoke, trying not to cry as she watched her own father tremble before her. “I promise you that she’s not ruining her life, but most importantly, you’re not ruining her life either!”
“But I am . . .”
“No!” Batgirl snarled as she repositioned herself on the bed. Her knees were pressed against the bed as they touched the man’s ribs. With all her might, she wrestled the man’s hands from his face and looked him dead in the eyes. “You’re not ruining her life! Barbara loves you! If you shun her now, she could never live with herself. That would be ruining her life!”
“But . . .”
“No buts! You’re not ruining her life! I’m sorry that I had to yell that out sir, but it’s the truth. I have talked to your daughter in the past before.”
“She told you that I wasn’t ruining her life?”
“She did. She said that you were a great father, da . . . that takes care of her,” Batgirl caught herself before blowing her cover.
“I was a . . . . was a great father?” the man asked as his eyes began to water and his lips trembled.
“No. I meant that she said you are a great father that takes care of her,” Batgirl quickly spoke realizing what she had said earlier and it hurt her greatly to see her father like this..
“I . . . I don’t . . .”
“Commissioner Gordon. Promise me that you’ll try to smile some more and be happy,” the woman spoke, trying to hold back the tears.
“Why?”
“You’re not ruining Barbara’s life, but she can’t bear to see you like this. She wants to see a smile. She wants you to be happy.”
“I’ll try . . .”
“Try for me and her then,” Batgirl spoke as she released the man’s hands.
“I will,” the old man sighed as he leaned back against the headboard.
“Commissioner Gordon, I have a secret to tell you,” Batgirl spoke in a shy schoolgirl voice.
“A secret?” the old man inquired as he rubbed his eyes and wiped away his tears.
“I had a crush on you back in Gotham City. I wore this hoping to cheer you up after talking to Barbara, your daughter.”
“Did she tell you to wear that outfit specifically?” the old man inquired.
“No,” Batgirl quickly replied, trying not to tip him off that she read the medical reports and the evaluation from Dr. Sands. “She said you were depressed and my last meeting with you didn’t exactly make you crack a smile, so I thought I wear this outfit. Not enough? I’ll bring the cape next time.”
“No . . . it’s great. Better than I could have ever imagined,” the old man replied, forcing a smile.
The smile melted Barbara’s heart right then and there. She loved seeing her father smile and she wanted to see it again and again. Thus, Barbara decided to put her plan in motion. “Smile just like for your daughter. Do it for a whole week and if Barbara tells me good things, I’ll return next week in this outfit and I’ll do a little dance for you. How about it?”
“I . . . I . . .”
“Just agree to it then,” Batgirl smiled.
“Okay then,” the man forced the words out of his smiling face.
“Excellent! See you in a week!” Batgirl giggled as she left the room.
*****
The Next Day
“Good morning daddy. Here’s breakfast in bed,” Barbara Gordon smiled as she placed the tray across her father’s lap. The woman wore a blue thong and was topless as she stood in front of him. Quickly the woman turned around to show her father her buttocks before turning and dropping to her knees. She then cupped her breasts and presented them to him for inspection.
“Barbara . . . you don’t need to do this. I don’t need your bedroom door open and I don’t need to see you showering. I’m just going to let things go back to where they were before you came to visit me here. Back then, I might have forgotten things, but at least both of us were happy,” the old man spoke softly.
“No daddy. I know you love me and that you meant well. I shouldn’t have snapped at you. As for boys, this proves that I’m not doing anything with them. I just want you to enjoy your breakfast. Today, I’ll do my gymnastics, followed by a few laps around the pool. Then a little sunbathing before returning inside and taking a shower in your bathroom. I can even give you a peak at my new clothing collection,” the woman smiled cheerfully.
“Barbara . . .”
“Please daddy,” the woman begged as she cupped her hands together.
“Alright,” the man sighed. “I’ll finish my breakfast and I’ll watch you do your gymnastics. I’ll also do some laps in the pool.”
“Great! Then as you eat, I’ll give you a quick fashion show from my private line of outfits just for daddy,” the woman smiled as she skipped out of the room.
“What in the world am I going to do with her?” the old man sighed as he grabbed the fork and knife and prepared to eat his meal.
As the man ate, Barbara Gordon began to strut in and out of the man’s room in her outfits that she deemed for her father’s eyes only. Most outfits were from the magazines and catalogues that her father had hidden away. Others were meant to relieve his fears that his little daughter was hanging around with the wrong me. All the skirts were raised in the back, allowing her father to see her firm ass while the front still covered her sex, although barely. Regardless the thong or g-string that she wore was clearly visible from the back. Her t-shirts were all cut so that the bottom of her breasts were uncovered and totally visible. She then removed the buttons on her blouses, giving her father easy access when it came to inspecting her breasts for kisses or teeth marks. Of course, the bathing suits were heavily modified. All her tops barely covered her nipples and thongs and g-strings were so thin around the crotch that if she moved too much, it would bite into her sex, forcing her pussy lips to pop out. Luckily for Barbara, she knew just the right amount of movement to prevent that, but she did see her father smile, which she attributed to Batgirl’s request and the fact that her father selected some of the outfits for her in his own writings.
The fashion show was followed by Barbara’s flexibility and cardiovascular development from her crime fighting days. The woman didn’t have the heart to tell her father that she never participated in gymnastics, but she did hear his applause as she danced around the blue mat twirling a purple ribbon as her breasts bounced in unison. Barbara Gordon was glad that she changed to a more respectable bottom. However, she would pick a naughtier one the time in and around the pool.
After her laps, Barbara retired to a foldout chair and began to sun herself topless. Her body gleamed with a layer of oil as she spread her legs. The thin fabric of the g-string slowly tightened and slipped into her sex, releasing the outer portion of her pussy lips. She wore a pair of sunglasses as her father continued to walk from one side of the pool to another, making sure that his legs were still able to move. Barbara could see her father making progress in the pool as he wasn’t very mobile after returning from the hospital even though Dr. Claymore assured her that father could move and that he just didn’t want to get out of bed. The woman was having a hard time getting him to visit the doctor and when he did, he used to have Barbara tag along. At first, Barbara was mad, but she didn’t want to argue with her father. But after some time, she realized it was just her father being proud and that she shouldn’t force the issue. Instead, she made sure that he would get some exercise at home. The pool was perfect since she could get a tan. Thus, Barbara watched her father as her oiled body perspired under the hot sun.
Later that day, Barbara showered with her father watching her. The woman even chastised herself as she showered. She couldn’t understand why she was so mad in the first place. All she could see was her father standing in the bathroom watching the top of the shower stall and the vent. He wasn’t doing anything devious. In fact, Barbara even asked her father to enter the shower with her, but he flatly refused saying that her shower was no place for him and that he would shower when she was cooking dinner. Barbara simply smiled and blew her father a kiss, which he happily returned, making Barbara’s heart melt as she saw the smile on his face. With a smile on her face, she turned off the water as her father handed her a towel. Barbara began to dry herself off as her father placed her top and thong on the shower handle. The woman snatched up the thong and placed it around herself, but she left the top on the handle. She then stepped out of the shower to make dinner.
Once the sunset, dinner was served and Barbara’s father retired to his bedroom to sleep. Barbara helped him to bed before giving him a kiss goodnight. Her father kissed her on the cheek and closed his eyes. Unlike the previous nights, Barbara knew that her father was happy and she didn’t need to dress up as Batgirl just to talk to him. That night, Barbara knew what her new routine would be as well as how she carried herself around the house.

One Month Later
A totally nude Barbara Gordon was sweating profusely as she exercised in the basement. She had already done numerous sit-ups, pushups, stretches, and jumping jacks. Currently, she was seated back on the exercise machine, pulling up weights with her arms as she pushed two black cushions together. Her ankles were strapped into the black stirrup as she closed and opened her legs, pulling on the weights. She had music blaring through the CD player that was across the room and heard a voice faintly calling her. “I’m downstairs!” she yelled, trying to drown out the music.
After a few seconds, footsteps could be heard coming down the steps. “Good lord!” Dr. Claymore exclaimed as he covered his eyes while standing in front of the cleanly shaved and nude Barbara Gordon.
“Doctor! This is a surprise,” the woman exclaimed in shock before catching herself. Since the man’s eyes were closed, she was going to try to act casual even though she could feel her cheeks become flushed.
“Barbara. I don’t know what to say, but I think you should know . . . now what was it?”
“What do I need to know?” Barbara asked as she stopped her exercises.
“I’m trying to remember. I must say that I am very embarrassed to stumble onto you like this,” the man apologized.
“Me too,” Barbara said to herself.
“I don’t know what’s going on, but I have not seen your father this entire week. And frankly, I’m a bit worried especially since he has changed your phone number.”
“That’s impossible!”
“What is?” the man inquired as he dropped his eyes and saw the nude woman with her spread legs. Immediately, the man backtracked and bumped into the wall as he slapped himself with both hands when he slammed them across his face.
“He has to have seen you!”
“I know for a fact that I haven’t seen him. I’ve actually seen more of you in the last few seconds than I have of him in the past two weeks. Sorry,” the man apologized again except his hands were firmly placed on his face. Barbara’s cheeks turned blood red as she heard the man’s comments. “As for your number, whenever I call it, the operator tells me it’s been disconnected and there is no new number listed.”
“Impossible! I can make phone calls!”
“But do you call the house’s own number?”
“No. No, I don’t.”
“Anyway, I’m a bit worried, so maybe you can talk to him?”
“I can, but how did you get in?” Barbara asked.
“Your father gave me a key on the night of his stroke. I also rang the doorbell numerous times before I used the key. I was hoping that your father left a clue or something behind in case he decided to skip town.”
“Damn it. Forgot about it. Now, he must think I’m going crazy too after seeing me in the buff and asking stupid questions like that!” Barbara chastised herself.
“Are you okay, Ms. Gordon? I’m not really sure if you’re still here. If it’s any consolation, I must say that your father does enjoy sending letters to all his old friends. I think you made a book or something that includes all their personal information and whereabouts.”
“I’m here and I’ll see what my father is up to,” Barbara snarled as she walked by the doctor and up the steps. The woman was so embarrassed that she basically ran up the steps and dashed to her bedroom.

Later that Night
Barbara Gordon read the newspaper hoping to land a job. Earlier in the day, she called the taxicab company, who was able to locate the driver. After some sweet talking, Barbara got the driver to reveal to her that he had dropped her father at a grocery store, where he helped bag groceries. Barbara immediately recognized the fact that her father didn’t want the entire financial burden to be placed on her shoulders. Thus, the woman sighed and went home since she had spent most of her savings on the doctor bills and needed a job soon. Most of the jobs required her to work the day, which she wasn’t very fond of because she needed that time to spend with her father especially since his health was fading according to the doctor reports. She could work nights, but most night jobs didn’t pay very well. Besides, she needed the extra hours of the day to get a good tan. The woman often sunbathed in the nude when her father went to see the doctor. She also shaved her sex in order to prevent her father from growing suspicious of her double life as Batgirl and Barbara Gordon. As the woman continued to scan the employment section, her eyes kept on darting back to the ad from a local club looking for dancers. It paid over a thousand dollars starting, which raised the flags for her right there. She knew it had to be something more than just dancing. Thus, she was very reluctant to call up the owner.
“Barbara! I’m home!” Commissioner Gordon spoke as he entered the house and closed the door behind him.
“Daddy! You’re home!” a topless Barbara Gordon ran down the steps and hugged her father. In the last few weeks, Dr. Claymore informed Barbara that her father was growing accustomed to seeing her topless. Of course, Barbara wanted that since she didn’t want her father to be embarrassed whenever he passed by her bedroom or shower. Besides, she felt safe around him, so it was okay. And she didn’t want the man to die of a heart attack when he gets to see Batgirl. The old man had made a deal with Batgirl and so far he had kept his end of the bargain, something that really made Barbara happy since her father no longer seemed depressed.
“I’m going to take a shower and make dinner afterwards,” the man smiled as Barbara released him.
“Okay. I’ll set the table,” she giggled.
“Good girl,” the old man replied as he patted her on her bare bottom since she was wearing a thong, something that he was use to seeing.
“Thanks daddy,” the girl smiled as she saw the smile on her father’s face as he climbed the steps. A few weeks ago, the man accidentally touched her rear and Barbara wanted to snap at him. The previous times were all instigated by her, but she was a bit unprepared for him to do it. But when she saw the fear in her father’s eyes, she quickly changed her tune. She then spent quite some time trying to convince him that it was okay. Then before she knew it, she was requesting him to pat her on the tush and the man eventually caved. Now it was time to set the table before she snuck out of the house only to return as Batgirl.

Later
James Gordon sat on his recliner as he watched television. His daughter, Barbara Gordon, had left the house over and hour ago and wouldn’t be back for another four hours. The old man thought nothing of it as he changed the channels over and over again, hoping to catch something interesting on the tube. Suddenly the televison automatically turned off as rock music blared from a CD boom-box. “Batgirl,” the old man gasped as the female crime fighter appeared before him in her classic purple outfit.
The woman danced in place for a few minutes, moving her hands up and down her body. Then she bent her knees and touched her ankles only to slowly gyrate and make her way back to a standing position. She repeated it over and over again as the old man sat dumbfounded in his chair. That’s when Batgirl’s hands found the string of her cape, undid it, and threw her cape into the old man’s face. She slowly tugged on the cape as it gently caressed the man’s face before falling peacefully into his lap. The woman then took off her yellow gloves and dropped them into his lap as she took a few steps away from him. Then the woman turned her back to the man and shook her buttocks before slapping her hands onto them and gripping them a few times. She then released them, found the zipper, and began to unzip herself. She then stepped out of her purple uniform and quickly turned around to face the man.
“Oh my!” the old man gasped as he saw her wearing nothing more than a purple bikini-bottom and a purple low cut, push-up bra with lace along the top of the cups. The bra exposed ample cleavage as her breasts jiggled while she danced. Her cowl and boots were still on, but her things were bare. The man could not believe what he was seeing. It was just like he described to Dr. Sands.
Batgirl could see the twinkle in the old man’s eyes. The woman felt a sense of happiness and pride knowing that the former Police Commissioner of Gotham City was happy after his long ordeal and his heroic battle with all the illnesses. Embolden by the smile, Batgirl lowered her left bra strap off of her shoulder, which was quickly followed by the right one. She then reached behind and unclasped her bra. Her elbows jerked slightly when she unhooked it and the old man jerked in his seat in anticipation. Batgirl then smiled at the man as her bra floated to the ground. She meant to catch it and tease him a bit more, but seeing him happy cost her some of her concentration. Within seconds, her tanned breasts flopped about with her movements as she danced topless in front of the old man. Batgirl could see the man’s eyes zeroing in on her breasts. The woman wanted to give the man a show as she placed her hands behind her head and thrust out her breasts for him to see.
“Holy cow!” the man mouthed as his hands gripped the recliner. With a huge smile, Batgirl moved forward and rubbed the front of her breasts against the man’s face. When she pulled back, the man had a huge smile on his face that even a sand blower couldn’t knock off.
Batgirl slowly took a few steps backward, moving her hips in exaggerated motions, swinging her body and breasts at the same time. She then turned her back on him and began to shake her ass again. The female crime fighter pulled on the sides of her bottoms and slowly bent forward as her hands slowly tugged on the string. Down they went as they slipped off her hips and eventually down her legs as the man saw that she was shaved. With her bikini-bottom around her ankles, the woman stepped out of them and turned around to show off her nudity. That’s when she old man saw that her pussy was completely bare as the woman continued to dance for the man’s pleasure.
Batgirl smiled and congratulated herself as the songs changed between fast and faster. Regardless of the tempo, she danced her heart out. The woman knew that the old man dreamed of this moment and although parts of her found it humiliating, she knew that he deserved to have this one wish fulfilled. Thus, after many songs, the woman collected the bra and bottom from the floor before dancing toward the man and abruptly dropping to her knees and presenting her items to the man as the music stopped dead in its tracks. “I hoped you liked my performance,” Batgirl panted.
“I loved it,” the old man spoke as he gripped the woman’s shoulders. “Thank you. You have the gratitude of a dying old man. Thank you.”

Two Months Later
Barbara Gordon danced on a lone stage in a dimly lit club as numerous onlookers clapped and cheered her name. She danced and gyrated in the nude for the drunk and horny patrons. Batgirl’s stripping was a prelude to her new career. The woman simply couldn’t get a decent salary for the medical exams and drugs that her father needed, so she eventually answered the ad in the newspaper. Hoping to make some quick bucks, her dad’s condition, which took a turn for the worst quickly sent her to be a full-time dancer at the club. The more she threw herself into pleasing the men, the more she made. Thus, the woman danced and acted like a complete slut in front of them. She would finger herself or show anyone with a dollar bill her shaved sex. This was her paying job now. The one that would supply her the funds to care for her father, a man who cared for her and did everything in his power to support her when she was young. Now, it was her time to repay him and the woman did it with a great deal of gusto.
“Impressive,” a man sneered from the very back of the club. “I would have never expected Barbara Gordon to dance at a strip club.”
“I’m sure she never thought of it either. But her dad is dying and she’s got to pay the bills. Dr. Claymore and Dr. Sands would have want it that way,” a large figure sitting in the darkness replied.
“You know, rumor has it that Batgirl has quit crime fighting in Gotham City. She hasn’t been seen for almost a year now.”
“Is that a bad thing, Joker?”
“No. Of course not. It’s just driving me batty that I didn’t have a chance to off her. I’m still planning of offing Batman and Robin. And yet the greatest prize of them all is already taken. I can’t kill Commissioner Gordon anymore!”
“Keep your voice down, you stupid clown. I don’t want to blow my cover,” the large figure hissed as a change came over his form and voice.
“Seriously though. I can’t kill old man Gordon.”
“Of course not, Joker. I already have and Barbara Gordon doesn’t even know that he’s dead. Hell, she doesn’t even know that Dr. Claymore and Dr. Sands have been dead for quite some time. The diagnosis and journals were all forced.”
“Forced?”
“Yea. I had them write it before I killed them. And while the were writing, I studied them. The fact that they’re all dead is why Barbara Gordon has never seen any of the two in the same room together at the same time.”
“I think it’s brilliant that you faked all those illnesses,” Joker laughed. “I mean Clayface, I would have never even thought of a plan like this. Just wait until the boys back in Gotham hear about this. Clayface, the man who killed Commissioner Gordon, fooled all his friends and family, and made his daughter a willing stripper,” Joke spoke as he glanced at Clayface, who had assumed the look of Commissioner Gordon again.
“Excuse me Joker. I need to get back to the hospital before she finishes the next dance or she may think something is up. Besides, I’m suppose to be plugged up to the life support right now.
“But you can’t get into the hospital as Gordon. They’ll flip.”
“Yes, but Doctor Claymore can enter the hospital and visit his own patient without any problems,” Clayface spoke as he morphed and made his way to the door.
“DADDY!” Barbara Gordon yelled as she climaxed on the stage while men started to cover her drenched thighs with dollar bills, trying to see how many they could get to stick.
“Daddy’s little girl,” Clayface smiled as he left the club.
