He watched her through the window. It had been six months since he last saw her. He had changed alot. He watched as Bruce left. Now was his chance. Johnny climbed up onto the window once she had escaped to the bedroom and popped it open, sliding in. He closed and locked it, then hid. He would wait until she was in bed. Once Rachel was in bed and had turned the lights off, he got up from his hiding place, “Hello gorgeous,” he growled. Rachel sat up, “Wh-who’s there?” He pounced onto the bed, straddling her, “Heeeere’s Johnny,” he breathed, his hot breath sending shivers down her spine. “J-Johnny? Is it really you?” He leaned in and kissed her. Rachel moaned. “Oh Johnny!” “Missed me?” “More than words can say,” she whispered, her lips pushing against his. He deepened the kiss, pushing her down onto her back. Rachel fought against this, bringing her hands up to his face. He grabbed them before they could touch him, “What’s wrong? Why can’t I touch you?” Her voice sounded more afraid than anything, and Johnny mentally kicked himself. This was his one true love, his last tether to the civilized world, and he was scaring her. “I would just rather you didn’t,” he said, “I-I’m not the same as I was before, Rachel. I-” Johnny struggled to find the right words to tell her what had happened. Rachel intervened. “Johnny, I thought you were dead. And now you’re here, and you’re alive and…I want you. Badly. I’ve been so long without you, and I can’t stand it. Nothing could ever make me not love you, Johhny. Nothing.” “I don’t want to scare you,” he breathed. “You won’t, my love. Just please, let me touch you. Let me see you. You can tell me anything, you know.” Though Rachel couldn’t see it, Johnny nodded. He leaned forward and kissed her once more before moving to get up. Thinking he was leaving, Rachel grabbed him and pulled his face to hers, letting her hands move over it as she kissed him. She felt scars under her palms on both cheeks. Her eyes watered at the thought of what he went through as she deepened the kiss, suddenly desperate to have him moving against her and inside of her. Johnny moaned and pushed her down on her back, “I love you,” he whispered. “I know,” she responded, reaching for his shirt, “let’s get these clothes off.” Rachel felt her resolve strengthen as she felt him kiss her neck; she would be for him what he needed. The rough scars sent shivers down her spine as their hardness pressed against her soft skin. It was actually quite erotic, she realized. “More,” she whispered. Johnny stopped what he was doing and she whimpered, “Johnny,” she whined, “please don’t stop. You’re killing me.” “Y-you really want me?” “Johnny, I can’t see the scars right now because it’s too dark. But I can feel them against my skin and…they feel good. I love you, you mean the world to me. Scars will not change that. So do I actually get to see you?” He turned the lamp on the end table on. She saw the doubt etched in his brow. Her eyes swept over his face and then his body. The scars looked like they had inflicted much pain on him at one time. He was shirtless, and she was surprised. His body was tightly built, muscular and lean. He clearly had been working out. “H-how do I l-look?” “Delicious,” she licked her lips, “get over here, Johnny. Now,” she pulled him over to her by his waistband and unbuttoned his jeans, “get those off and then we’re not leaving this bed until morning. And if you leave after, while I’m asleep, I will never forgive you.” He half-growled and half-groaned as he pushed his pants off and climbed into bed before she could say anything else; passionately, he kissed her. Rachel’s hands flew to his face and they rolled so that she was on top. Rachel caressed his chest as he pulled the nightgown over her head. Johnny kissed her passionately, and Rachel returned the kisses with fervor, enjoying the attentions he was lavishing on her body with his hands. Johnny pushed her underwear off, caressing her gently, “Beautiful, Rachel. You’re so beautiful, so soft. I-I’m not worthy of you.” “You are,” she gently whispered, kissing him sweetly. “I love you, Johnny. I love you more than I’ve ever loved anyone. I would choose no one else. Ever,” she leaned her head against his, “would you choose anyone else?” He shook his head, “I only want you. I-I’m not the same anymore, but I just couldn’t stay away from you. I love you, Rachel.” “Then let’s make love,” she stroked him. “You’re hard.” “You do that to me,” he grinned. Rachel laughed and kissed him again, resuming their lovemaking session.
When morning came Rachel woke in his arms. She smiled and looked up at him. He looked troubled. “Johnny? What’s wrong?”
He grumbled in his sleep and frowned. Gently, she pushed him. “Johnny!” His eyes shot open and Rachel sighed, “Are you okay?” “I-yeah. Yeah. I’m here with you, there’s nothing more I could have asked for.” He leaned down and kissed her, “I’ve missed you so much,” he whispered. “Get in the shower, and I’ll start breakfast.” “Okay,” he said, kissing her again. Rachel let the kiss continue for some time, but pulled away finally, “Go shower, Johnny. I know you need to,” she caressed his cheek, “I love you.” “I love you,” he smiled. She leaned in and kissed him once more before putting on her robe and exiting to the kitchen/living room. He got up and walked over to her bathroom to shower. He was glad to be able to; living out of a broken down motel that had no utilities, he had no access to showers or anything. All of his things were still in the bathroom. After his shower he opened up the medicine cabinet to find his toothbrush and razor. Well, they weren’t the ones he had left there; these were new. He opened the toothbrush to brush his teeth, then pulled out the razor. Gently, he shaved. It felt good to be clean again. He smiled. The scars still bugged him to see, but if it didn’t freak Rachel out then he didn’t mind them as much. They stretched up from the corners of his mouth to nearly his jawbones in a sickening, permanent smile. He found his boxers and put them on before going to see her. “Rachel?” “Breakfast is nearly ready,” she said, her back to him. He wrapped his arms around her waist, “Thank you,” he whispered. “For what?” She leaned back against him. “For loving me still, even after I disappeared for so long. Even after I’ve changed. After my scars…” “Johnny, you’re a good man. Did I worry? Absolutely. Was I mad at you? Plenty. But I love you, and I’ll forgive and forget all of that to be with you. Just don’t do it again,” she tilted her head and kissed him, “I have to get this on plates, babe. You’re gonna have to let go. I still have the clothes you left; they might be too loose, you look like you lost weight.” “I lost a bit,” he shrugged, “I’ve been building alot of muscle the past few months.” “Go get dressed, and hurry.” “Yes dear,” he playfully teased. She just grinned as he kissed the back of her neck softly and escaped to the bedroom. He found his old clothes and put them on. He wasn’t surprised to find that they didn’t fit. His pants were loose, but he wore them anyway. His shirts were also loose, but they were what he had that was clean. “Breakfast is ready,” she smiled. “How do I look?” “Just about ludicrous,” she smirked, “you really need different clothes here, Johnny. Especially if you’re spending your nights here,” she pulled him to the table, “now let’s eat. I want to make sure you have sustenance before I start having my way with you.” “Minx,” he smirked. “It has been six months,” she said, “I need more attention and affection.” “You’ll get it, my love. Right after we eat.”They spent most of the day together, until finally Johnny said he had to leave. Rachel had thrown the clothes he had worn last night in the wash and he had changed back into them, “Can’t you stay?”
“I’m gonna need clothes, Rachel,” he smiled. “So you’re coming back?” “I’ll be back in two hours or so,” he promised, caressing her cheek, “you know I’ll be back. Why would I stay away when you’ve given me what I wanted all along?” Rachel grinned and kissed him, deeply, “You better come back. I won’t ever forgive you if you don’t.” “I promise, you’ll see me shortly.” “Go now, I want you back here asap.” “I’m gone,” he kissed her and climbed out the window. When he returned she was writing a legal brief, “Honey I’m home,” he smirked. “You certainly are,” she looked up and grinned. “Come here,” she stood up and kissed him. “I love you.” “I love you,” he responded, caressing her arm gently, “working?” “Yes, actually. I trust you don’t mind?” “Of course not,” he kissed her again, “have fun. I’m going to put my clothes in your bedroom.” “Good, that’s where they belong,” she sat back down and went back to work. He took out his old clothes and put his new ones in their place. It felt good to settle down here once more. He’d missed Rachel desperately. He wondered what had changed since he’d been gone. He sighed and lay back on the bed. At least she still wanted him. For Johnny, that fact alone was a miracle. He was grateful for a second chance with the love of his life. He wouldn’t mess this up. He couldn’t.Rachel stretched. It had been a long effort to write the brief, then proof-read it, but she had finished. Just in time for dinner. She got up and headed to her bedroom. Johnny was reading a paper she’d written, “What are you up to?”
“Just reading,” he shrugged. “Finished?” “I am. I have a headache from it though,” she sat down on the bed next to him. “I can cook if you like,” he sat up and pulled her into his arms, kissing her. “You’d do that?” “Of course,” he answered, nibbling on her ear. “Sound good to you?” “Very,” she responded as he lay her down on the bed. “Take a bath,” he said, standing up. “Take a hot soak and let me cook for you. That way you can just relax. No worries, I’ll take care of everything.” “Thank you,” she said. He helped her up and watched her walk into the bathroom before heading out to the kitchen. She relaxed into the tub, her eyes closing in bliss. She’d forgotten how sweet he could be. But the more Rachel thought about last night, the more she realized he had changed. Their lovemaking before was sweet. It was passionate as well, of course, she had always been attracted to him, but this time it seemed more like lust. As though he wanted to ravage her and couldn’t get enough of her. Never had the sex been like that. She had enjoyed it greatly last night. And this morning, she blushed as the memories rushed back to her. She wondered what had happened to him. He hadn’t told her yet.
As Rachel wondered about the past half year without Johnny, he was in the kitchen cooking. He felt nervous. She had to want to know about him. He knew he’d have to tell her at some point. But he didn’t want to yet. He finished cooking just as he heard the bathroom door open. He had to admire Rachel’s sense of timing. She walked out, dressed, drying off her hair. “Something smells very good,” she smiled, leaning over his shoulder. “New cologne,” he smirked. Rachel nipped his ear in response. “I like it when you bite,” he said. “I know you do,” she nuzzled the back of his neck. Johnny closed his eyes. She smelled good, and he liked the attentions she was giving him. She pulled away, “Can I help?” “Don’t need help,” he answered, getting out two plates and getting everything settled in. He sat them on the table and Rachel sat down, kissing his cheek as she did so. “Thank you.” “You’re very welcome,” he smiled at her.Halfway through their meal he spoke, “I know you want to know what happened. And I’ll tell you, I promise. I’d just like some time to gather up the courage to be honest with you. I…” Johnny took a deep breath, “I haven’t told anyone what happened. I’m not ready to share it yet.”
She smiled sympathetically and took his hand, “That’s okay, baby. I’ll wait. I want to know, sure, but I just want you here with me.” “I can manage that,” he kissed her hand before resuming eating. “I love you.” “I love you too,” Rachel grinned. After dinner Rachel washed the dishes, despite Johnny’s protests. She told him to go pick out a movie and he did as told, picking a horror film. She watched, curled up on the sofa clutching a pillow. Johnny smirked, “Are you scared?” “Only a little,” she frowned at him. “Allow me to comfort you,” he moved close to her and leaned in to kiss her. Rachel moaned and let go of the pillow, letting her hands move to his face. “Comfortable?” “Now I am,” she smiled, pulling at his shirt. “I love you,” he whispered, “I’ve missed you so much, Rachel.” “I’ve missed you too, Johnny. I haven’t felt the same since you left,” she unbuttoned his jeans, “until now. And now…I don’t think that I can ever let you go again.” “Don’t,” he whispered, leaning in to kiss her again. The movie was forgotten as she pulled him to her, biting his lip when he tried to pull away. She realized she bit too hard when she could taste a coppery substance. Johnny growled when he could taste his blood, then deepened the kiss. They passionately made love on the couch. Eventually they separated and she stared at the damage she’d done, touching it tenderly. “Did I hurt you?” “I like a bit of pain,” he smiled, “it’s a turn-on for me.” “Since when?” Rachel stared up at him, surprised. “Recently,” he shrugged, leaning down to kiss her again. When she didn’t return it he moved to her neck and started nibbling along her collarbone. Rachel moaned and let her head fall back, exposing more of her neck to him. Soon he managed to distract her from her thoughts and she got into the kiss, letting him have her body once more before he carried her to her bedroom to continue their sexual escapades.Johnny woke alone. He stretched and looked around. He was in a padded room. What was he…oh, wait. Johnny sat up and looked out the single, double-paned window with bars on both sides of it. He was at Arkham Asylum, the criminally deranged ward of the city’s prison system. But why…Johnny frowned. He couldn’t remember anything save the dream/memory he’d just had.
“She misses you,” a husky voice spoke from the corner. Johnny focused and saw the Batman standing there. “I…how did I end up here? I haven’t done anything wrong.” “She knows that, but because she’s not family she can’t come see you. No one can.” Batman walked closer to the bed, “You were arrested and thrown in here because you killed your father and mother.” Johnny frowned. Wait, “Were their faces sliced open like mine?” “Yes,” Batman nodded. “I-I didn’t…I wouldn’t have killed him. He…he protected me.” “Your father?” Johnny nodded. Batman frowned in thought. “Was your mother abusive?” Johnny just looked down at the ground. Batman sighed. He needed answers, not sidesteps. “Listen to me, if you want to see Rachel again you better tell me everything. I’m your only chance.” Johnny took a deep breath, “She was very violent. Throwing me into walls. Kicking me. He would stop her.” “You were there when they died. Who else was in the house?” He closed his eyes. He remembered everything, but it felt fuzzy. “A man,” Johnny finally said. “Tall, but not much taller than me, so maybe 6’3”? 6’5”? Really big. Broad. Huge muscles. He grabbed my throat and squeezed until I passed out. When I came to my mouth was in such pain. And my parents…I saw my Dad lying there and the knife was lying next to him. I don’t even know why I picked it up…” “That explains your fingerprints on the knife,” Batman said. “What does he look like? Black? White?” “White. He had like a….like a leather fetish mask. I guess he wanted to look like a wrestler, with some sort of design on it, but it was a leather fetish mask. I’m positive of that.” “Did he say anything?” Johnny shook his head. “I want to see Rachel. I need to see her. She has to think I lied to her that I wouldn’t leave. Th-that I don’t love her…” “She contacted me to find you, Johnny,” Batman said. He watched Johnny stand up and start to pace. “She knows you’re innocent.” “How do I get out of here?” “You need a lawyer.” “I have no money.” “Have Rachel ask someone.” “How am I supposed to talk to anyone? I’m stuck here.” Batman sighed. Johnny had a point. “I’ll talk to someone on your behalf to get it all taken care of,” Batman moved back to the corner. “I-if you see Rachel, tell her I love her. Please, Batman. She can’t think I want nothing to do with her.” “I’ll relay your message to her,” Batman said before disappearing. Johnny got up and looked around, trying to figure out how Batman disappeared. He saw the vent was open and suddenly the grate returned to its place. Johnny sat down and held his head in his hands. He missed Rachel.Rachel filed the necessary papers for the attorney she was working for. They had to get Johnny out. She had nearly begged for his help, which he’d denied. She didn’t want to depend on Bruce. But he was her only option. She’d gone to Bruce to ask for his help and he’d agreed. Once the papers were filed they’d be set. She just wanted Johnny out. She knew he was innocent. He’d never hurt anyone. But…she needed to get him out. He didn’t belong in an asylum. He wasn’t mentally deranged or a criminal.
Two days later Bruce called her, the lawyer he’d hired had found a judge who would give them a hearing. Rachel attended the hearing, and watched as Johnny was led in. He sat down next to the lawyer, looking confused. Rachel suppressed the urge to call out to him. The hearing was short, the lawyer making his points quickly and succinctly. After a medical expert testified on Johnny’s behalf, the judge granted bail. Rachel was thrilled. She hurried over to the bail bondsman’s office, paying for it. She waited at the jail as they brought him out. Johnny looked confused. When he saw her he lit up. Rachel grinned, pulling him into a hug, “I was so worried Johnny.” “I didn’t do it, Rachel,” he said. “I know you didn’t,” she whispered into his ear, “I know you didn’t.” She pulled away and took his hand, “You’re coming home with me now. Let’s get out of here.” “Okay,” he nodded.Rachel lay in bed that night while Johnny showered. He hadn’t talked to her about his parents being killed yet. She was surprised he hadn’t. But then, she’d already noticed differences in whom he was and who he had become. She sighed. He was taking longer than she expected. She got up and walked to the bathroom door. It didn’t sound like the water was off. Rachel opened the door, “Johnny? Are you okay?”
“Yeah, I just…I started thinking.” “Come think in bed with me,” she slid the shower curtain aside, “the water should be getting cold soon.” He nodded, turning the water off. She handed him a towel and Johnny dried off. Rachel pulled him into her bedroom and toward the bed. He slid into it and held her, “Do you want to talk about it?” She looked up at him, concern etched in her face. Johnny shook his head and she sighed, laying her head on his chest. “That’s okay,” she placed a soft kiss on his chest, “I’m not going anywhere, Johnny. And I won’t let you, either.” He stayed silent, just lying there. “Thank you for bailing me out,” he finally said. “You’re welcome,” she whispered. “I know you want to know, Rachel. But I just…I can’t…” She sat up so that she could look him in the eye, “Then don’t. I just want you here with me, Johnny. I love you. It’s been rough having you taken from me again. I don’t want it to happen anymore.” “Me either,” he whispered. “Batman told me about your parents being killed. He believes you, Johnny. He’ll work to prove your innocence,” she caressed his cheek. “Want to get some sleep?” “I think that’s a good idea,” he frowned. “Johnny, maybe you just need to talk. I won’t judge you, and whatever you’re hiding I will still love you dearly.” He took a deep breath, “My mom was abusive. She would beat me. My dad….he protected me from her.” Rachel pulled his head down to her chest, holding him. “I’m so sorry, Johnny.” “Some man came into our house and squeezed my neck until I passed out. When I came to we all had these scars only they were dead…and I…” Johnny let his emotions overrun and he cried into her chest. Rachel gently caressed his head and shoulder, staying silent as she held her lover. Finally he calmed down and she caressed his cheek, “Are you okay?” “Yes,” he nodded. “Thank you.” “You’re welcome,” she smiled, “do you need anything?” “You,” he moved up and kissed her, “let’s make love.” “I’m agreeable to that,” Rachel kissed him sweetly, caressing his biceps as she pulled him on top of her. Johnny caressed her tenderly, trying to savor her body and show her how much she meant to him. But he wanted her badly. He wanted it rough and fast. “Johnny, please go rougher. I prefer it that way.” “You didn’t before,” he whispered. “You showed me that I prefer it that way,” she pulled him to her, “Please, Johnny. I know how much I mean to you. How much you love me. Give it to me hard.” “Your wish is my command,” he buried himself in her roughly and began to thrust violently. Rachel moaned and nipped his ear, making him hiss in pleasure. She dug her nails into his shoulders and cried out in pleasure as he slammed into her. Johnny was so glad that she wanted him this way. It was the way he preferred to have sex now. Rachel, meanwhile, was very pleased with his body against hers. After they came together they collapsed and fell asleep. Rachel woke in the morning to Johnny lying next to her, his arms wrapped around her tightly. She leaned up and nuzzled his neck, “I love you Johnny.” He mumbled but didn’t wake. She smiled and pushed him onto his back, letting her hands move over his body. He had a six pack now. His arms were very well defined. She almost felt like he was someone else, but she liked the changes. And Johnny was still Johnny, she knew that. It was obvious in how he felt for her. She loved him so much; it had nearly killed her when he’d been arrested. She was very grateful to Bruce for helping her. Rachel just hoped that he would find the man who had killed Johnny’s parents.Lost in thought, Rachel didn’t even notice his arms shift as he woke. He tilted his head and kissed her sweetly, “Good morning,” he said.
“Good morning,” she smiled, leaning over to kiss him. “You’re staying here with me for good, right?” “I hope so,” he caressed her cheek. “I want to.” “You have to have some faith in the justice system, Johnny. And in Batman.” “I do,” he kissed her, “but what was your point?” “I want you to live with me.” “Sounds excellent to me. I guess I should find a job huh.” “You don’t have to right now. Not with this murder hanging over your head.” Rachel rolled on top of him, “Want to take a shower together? I have class in a few hours.” “I guess we should,” his hands moved up her body sensually, “I’d hate for you to be late.” “What about sexually unsatisfied,” she gasped. “That’s never an option,” Johnny kissed her passionately, his hands squeezing and massaging her body as she brought her hands to his face, savoring the feel of him. While Rachel was in class Bruce came by. Johnny opened the door, surprised to see him. “Rachel isn’t here,” he said.
“I came to see you,” Bruce said, “mind if I come in?” Johnny let him in and shut the door, turning to face the wealthy man. Bruce turned to face Johnny, “Do you remember anything else about the man in the leather mask?” “How do you know about…” Johnny’s eyes widened, “you’re…you’re him.” Bruce flushed. He hadn’t thought about Johnny not knowing his secret. “I am.” “Who’d have thought…” Johnny hoisted himself up onto the counter, “that Bruce Wayne…” “I don’t talk about it outside of a small group of people.” “Your secret’s safe with me,” he smirked. “And no, I don’t remember anything else. I try to, but everything just goes black.” “I’ve tried chasing down some leads, but so far I haven’t found anything. And…well, the crooks I catch don’t know anything about it. But I did some looking into as to why anyone would want your parents dead. And I found the coroner’s reports. I don’t think they were supposed to die.” “What?” “Well it struck me that why would anyone leave you alive, but kill your parents? You had no enemies I could find. And why would the person who attacked cause the same injury to all of you, but only kill your parents? Then I understood. The cuts on your parents were deeper. They bled out. I don’t think your attacker knocked them out before slicing their cheeks open. They fought, and so the blade cut deeper than intended.” “Their deaths…were an accident?” “Did you know your mother was in debt to the mob?” Johnny shook his head, “I stayed out of that house. The only reason I was there that day was to get some of my things.” “I think the guy that did it was the enforcer. But the mob is closely guarded. I can’t get to them. You could though.” “Me?” Bruce just nodded. Johnny sighed. “You think the case against me is good, then?” “Unless we catch this guy and he confesses, I don’t see how even the lawyer I got you could get you off. The mob covered its tracks well.” Johnny cursed. Bruce sighed, “I’ve tried, Johnny. I don’t know what else to do. But I think you could slip underground easier than I or Batman could. We could do some makeup, different clothes…no one would ever know who you are.” “Rachel wouldn’t like this.” “She wouldn’t like you going away for murdering your parents, either. I know she trusts the justice system. Well, sometimes it needs some help.” “So I’d need an alter ego?” Bruce laughed, “Yes. I have a friend create new toys for Batman. He could make some things for you.” “I thought you didn’t like me because you’re in love with Rachel,” Johnny said, eyeing Bruce. “I was but…when you disappeared, she was distraught. And when you came back, she was the happiest I’ve ever seen. I can never be that with her, Johnny. But I want her to be happy. And you make her happy.” “I need a job,” he mumbled. “She wants me to live here with her.” “We can keep your clothes in Wayne Manor in my Batcave. And there’s no one that’s going to hire you with this murder or with those scars.” “I know. Rachel says I shouldn’t worry about it but…I can’t let her pay my way.” “I’ll see what we need at Wayne Enterprises. I’m sure there’s something I could use you for.” “Thanks,” Johnny smiled at him sincerely. “I suppose you’re stuck here until Rachel returns?” “Yeah,” he nodded. “She doesn’t like me leaving when she’s not here. Since that’s what happened when I was arrested.” Johnny scratched his head, “Wait, if she was in debt to the mob, then they…they were the ones that did it; a jury would buy that, right? I mean, if I wanted to kill my parents why would I do this to myself?” “I’m sure your lawyer will argue that. And it’s reasonable doubt, but I think you deserve justice. And don’t you want your father to have justice?” Johnny just nodded. Bruce handed him a blank card with a phone number on it, “That’s the line to the Batcave. Call it tonight after Rachel’s in bed.” “Sure,” he said, following Bruce back to the front door. The wealthy man exited, leaving Johnny alone.Bruce Wayne was Batman…obviously Rachel knew. Johnny wondered how long she’d known. He lay on the couch, pondering this. And now he had to prove his innocence. Rachel being at his side was wonderful, but he couldn’t have the cloud of his parents’ murders hanging over him. It would hurt her chances at becoming a prosecutor. He couldn’t have that.
Rachel returned soon, “Johnny?” He got up from the sofa and walked over to her, kissing her, “How was class?” “Dull. I missed you,” she ran her hands down his chest, “let’s order pizza and just hang out. Sound good to you?” “You make it sound like I’m a sex toy,” he said, pulling her into his arms. “Johnny, you know that’s not how I see you. I love you. But it seems like every time you’re here you leave and I lose you. I don’t want to lose you again.” She looked up at him, “Don’t let me go.” “Never,” he whispered, holding her. “I love you, Rachel. I will never do anything to hurt you. I think pizza and cuddling sounds great. I might go out later, but I’ll come back.” “Why?” “Batman wants to talk to me. He told me to meet him.” “Does he have a lead?” “Didn’t say,” Johnny answered, trying not to sound too vague. “Want me to go with you?” He shook his head, “I think I need to do this on my own, Rachel.” “Okay,” she pulled him to the couch, “hungry?” “Starving.” She picked up the phone, “What do you want?”After they ordered the pizza they made out, Rachel pulling his shirt off and caressing his chest and abs. “You like the muscle I built, don’t you,” he mumbled, pushing her onto her back and sliding his hands under her shirt to touch her breasts.
“Yes,” she gasped, lifting her hands to have her shirt pulled off. He unhooked her bra and moved down to suck on her breasts. Rachel groaned in pleasure, her nails dragging down his back. Johnny growled, “I like that. Keep doing it,” he returned his mouth to hers, kissing her again. Rachel’s nails continued their trail down his back. He bit her lip and tasted blood. Feeling even more excited now, he licked at her lip to taste her blood and continued the kiss. The knock at the door pulled them apart. Rachel put on his shirt and took out some money to pay for it. As she moved to the door it blasted open, Rachel falling back in surprise. Johnny stood to see the same man who had murdered his parents hulking in the doorway. “You,” was all the large man said. Johnny pulled Rachel back, moving toward the window with him now between her and the murderer. “Get out Rachel.” “I’m not leaving you Johnny.” “GET OUT!” He yelled, picking up an empty wine bottle and busting it on the coffee table. Frightened by her lover’s tone and the menacing man in her living room, she climbed out of the living room, picking up her phone on the way out and calling 911 and then Bruce. She watched from the fire escape as the intruder lumbered toward Johnny, who didn’t blink. He tightened his grip on the bottle, “You killed my parents,” he said. “They got what was coming to them. Should’ve paid their debts.” Johnny’s eyes narrowed in anger. If he could just hold the guy off, he’d be okay. Rachel had to have called Batman. This guy looked like the Hulk, except he was white. With a leather fetish mask on. The guy moved forward and reached for him. Johnny jumped up, kicking him square in the chest. He didn’t even flinch. Johnny frowned. How was he supposed to stop this guy? He was like a tank. Johnny swiped at him with the bottle, and the guy moved back. “Don’t like blood?” Johnny pulled a switchblade from his pocket, moving toward him. “You killed my parents. You nearly killed me. And because of you, the police think I killed my father. MY FATHER!” He leaped onto the man, Rachel watching in horror from the fire escape. The police arrived to see Johnny get thrown into the wall, his knife falling next to him. Rachel ran in, cradling his head in her arms. “Johnny!” “Gotham PD! Freeze!” The cops yelled at the guy. He turned on them, but stopped suddenly. He fell to the floor, convulsing. Behind him Batman stood, a supercharged taser in his hands. “This is the man that killed the Lawsons,” Batman said. “He works for the mob.” He glanced up at the cops, “Tell your bosses that you arrested the wrong man. And you might want to find a place to stash this guy. He’s tough.” Johnny woke to Batman helping the cops get rid of the murderer. Rachel smiled down at him, “Are you okay?” “Are you?” “I am, you protected me,” she smiled, leaning down to kiss him, “you’re okay, right?” “I have a headache,” he said, squinting in pain when Rachel reached to touch him. One of the cops returned, “Mr. Lawson? Ms. Dawes? I was told by Lieutenant Gordon to take the two of you to the hospital to get checked out, then to the squad. The prosecutor and Lieutenant Gordon need to take your statements.” “Can I call a friend first? I’d like us to have someplace to stay tonight. I don’t feel safe being here.” “Certainly. We’ll have a uniform come and watch over your apartment for you. I can help you pack a bag, if you like.” “No thanks, I can get it all. Maybe you can watch over Johnny? He’s a bit disoriented.” The cop nodded, helping Johnny up to the couch. Rachel left the room and he turned to Johnny, “Brave thing you did there, jumping onto him like that. You saved both your lives doing that.” “He took enough from me. I wasn’t letting him have Rachel.” The cop smiled at him and Rachel returned to them. “Bruce said we could stay at the manor until we find a new place,” she said. “Great,” he groaned, the cop helping him up. With his and Rachel’s help, Johnny made it to the elevator and then down to the squad car. They headed off to the hospital. After being told he was fine, just a slight concussion from hitting the wall, Johnny and Rachel went to the police station. Lieutenant Gordon met them, offering them a seat when Johnny insisted that Rachel stay with him. “On behalf of the department, I’d like to apologize to you, Mr. Lawson. You were innocent, just as you said. We should have taken what you told us seriously.”
“Thank you Lieutenant,” Johnny said. “What happens now?” “The man goes by Bane. He’ll be charged, and locked up until trial. No bail. He’s not getting out of jail, Mr. Lawson,” the prosecutor said. “And the DA sends his apologies for having you charged. First thing tomorrow the charges will be dropped. Your lawyer has already been contacted.” “Do I have to be there? Cause I don’t feel well. I’m sore and still a bit dizzy.” “We already stated that because of the attack, you don’t have to be there. Don’t worry about it.” “Thank you,” he said. He looked at Gordon, “Can I go now? I just want to lay down.” “Of course. Ms. Dawes, you called Mr. Bruce Wayne?” “I did. He’s here?” “He is,” Gordon nodded, “let me help you out,” he helped Johnny get up and walked out of the station with them to Bruce’s car. Bruce and Gordon got Johnny in, then Rachel climbed in next to him, “you all take care now,” he said, watching Bruce drive off. Bruce helped Johnny out, and Alfred came over to make sure his wounds were properly tended to. Then the two led Johnny and Rachel to a bedroom, helping Johnny get into bed. They left, leaving the couple alone. Rachel helped Johnny take his clothes off, getting him down to his boxers. She kissed him, “How do you feel?” “Better,” he mumbled, closing his eyes. “I just wanna get some sleep.” “Want me here with you?” “Yes,” he nodded, reaching for her. She lay down next to him, holding him. He fell asleep immediately.Rachel couldn’t sleep. So she got up and walked down to find Alfred and Bruce in the kitchen, “Thank you, Bruce.”
“You’re welcome,” he answered. “I can’t believe Johnny survived an encounter with that guy the first time. And I’m surprised all he has now is a concussion.” “He was really lucky, Rachel,” Bruce said. “If he were lucky he wouldn’t have been at his parents’ house in the first place.” “At least he isn’t dead,” Alfred offered. “You get him in one piece, at least.” “I just…I feel so bad for him. I am all he has now,” she looked back toward the staircase, “I should get back to him. I don’t want him to wake up alone. We’ll see you at dinner,” she smiled at them, hugging Bruce and kissing Alfred on the cheek before leaving the kitchen. “Johnny gets a second chance at life; that’s nothing to sneeze at.” “I’m sure he’s had his moments of hating that fact, Mr. Wayne,” Alfred said, “the guilt he must feel…that is something that you can understand.” “Rachel will help him through it, Alfred,” Bruce said, “he’s gotten this far. He’ll be fine.” “I think so as well,” he nodded, walking away. She was with Johnny when he woke. “Hey there handsome,” she smiled.
“You look beautiful right now,” he said, looking up at her. “Johnny, you’re biased. You’re hopelessly in love with me.” “So?” Rachel just shook her head and leaned down to kiss him. He returned the kiss, pulling her down against him. She moaned into his mouth as they made out, her hands reaching for his hair. “Dinner will be ready soon, Johnny.” “So I shouldn’t pull your clothes off and have my way with you?” “Not right now,” she shook her head and pulled away from him. “Later, Johnny.” “Promise?” “I promise,” she smiled, leaning in to kiss him, “I love you.” “How long have you known about Batman?” “What do you mean?” “That Bruce is Batman,” Johnny said. “Since the beginning,” she answered. “But Johnny, I don’t love him.”The next night Rachel went to the dojo after work. It had been a good day, she thought. Now she wanted to just cuddle with Johnny. But nowadays he was teaching self defense classes to women and she would have to wait. She looked around, there were twenty women here. And they all seemed eager. She smiled. Johnny entered in his gi and she had to admit, he looked sexy. Apparently she wasn’t the only one who thought so. She could see and hear the giggles and comments about his body. She didn’t like that; he was hers. Sure men pined for her and she didn’t mind that, but seeing women pining for Johnny…it bugged her alot.
“Alright ladies, are we ready?” Johnny showed them a couple basic moves; moves that the night before he’d taught her. He’d wanted her to be on the same playing field as the students. He led them through the three basic moves, one by one. Rachel followed along. These were easy. Bruce had taught her a few things over the years, and Johnny had as well. Johnny shifted into a stance, instructing them to follow suit and hold. He walked through, correcting their stances if they were incorrect. He approached her and stopped, looking her over, “Very good,” he whispered just loud enough for her to hear, “you learn fast.” “I have a good teacher,” she smiled at him. Johnny’s grin grew and he walked on to the next student. Once he’d checked on their poses he walked back to the front of the room, “Now you’ve got some basic moves and poses down, I want to start getting into some moves that can protect you from an attacker. Who wants to be my volunteer?” Half a dozen hands shot up. Johnny smirked but said, “Rachel, if you don’t mind,” she fought back a smile as she walked up to him. “Thank you,” he smiled. “Here’s what is going to happen. At some point I’m going to come up behind you. I want you to try to escape from me. One rule, don’t hit my genitals.” He looked over toward the others, “It could be a good excuse to run away, but not every guy will drop from a hit there. And I’d like the option of having kids, so let’s avoid hitting me there.” Several women exchanged looks. He walked away from her, then suddenly turned back around and grabbed her. Rachel had learned a few moves from Bruce, as he was concerned for her safety as she’d started law school. She’d never told Johnny that though. She elbowed him in the gut and then flipped him over her shoulder, landing flat on his back on the mat. “Ouch,” he muttered. “I should have let you kick me in the groin.” She helped him up, “Bruce taught you?” She smiled and nodded, “I’m not incapable, no matter what you might think.” “Right,” he said, taking a few deep breaths. “Actually, that was the move I was going to show anyway. Role reversal,” he said to Rachel, “grab me from behind, and we’ll go through the move step by step. Obviously,” he turned to the other women, “this move is effective. You all just witnessed that. So grab me,” Rachel did as he requested, and step by step, him lifting her up to demonstrate the move as though in slow motion, they walked through it. Then he assigned pairs. Given their odd number, Rachel sat out. He walked around, watching them take turns. By the end of class, all were able to do it. “Very good job ladies,” he said. “Already you have the tools to protect yourself. Next time I’ll show you another move. You all be safe on your way home now,” he smiled as they all clapped. Johnny grabbed a towel and wiped the sweat off of his face as the women gathered their things and started to trickle out. Rachel pulled out her water bottle and took a drink, then sat down to put her shoes on. She watched a woman walk up to Johnny, “That was a great class,” she said to him. “You all did great.” “I don’t suppose you could give me private lessons?” Johnny smiled, but shook his head, “I don’t think that’d be appropriate. My fiancée wouldn’t be thrilled about that.” “Oh please, she wouldn’t have to know.” “Well given that she’s sitting right over there, I’d say she would,” Johnny nodded toward Rachel, who smiled at him as she stood up. The woman mumbled some sort of apology and walked out. Johnny walked over and kissed her, “Hey there sexy.” “You look hot in that gi,” she said. “Then let’s get home so you can get me out of it,” he wrapped his arm around her as they walked out. Once home she walked to the bedroom and slid out of her workout clothes, “You are joining me in the shower,” she called over her shoulder. “Yes ma’am,” he grinned, locking the door behind him and tossing their bags onto the couch, “you look so sexy.” “I kicked your ass too,” she turned to him, wearing only her bra and underwear. “You did. That’s a huge turn-on,” he leaned in and kissed her passionately. “As is this. I love you.” “I love you too.” They entered the bathroom, Johnny shrugging off his gi, tossing his belt onto the bed. “They’re so jealous of me.” “Why?” “I get you all to myself,” she grinned. “You’ve had that a very long time,” he muttered, leaning in to kiss her. “And anyway, you know that you’re all I will ever want.” “I do,” she moaned and turned on the shower, “I love you so much, Johnny. So much that it hurts.” “Pain is good sometimes,” he whispered, leaning in to kiss her again. “It is indeed,” she said, pulling him into the shower with her, “less talk, more sex.” Johnny’s reply was stopped as she stroked him and bit his lip. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
