“I don’t need it. I am not going to remember anything. I am not the girl you knew.”

The school bell suddenly rang and students started to pour out of the rooms into the hallway.

“Bye Beast boy...” Terra said as she turned around and walked down the hall.”

Beast boy ran out of the school, hoping that one day Terra would remember. Beast boy knew that he could never love anyone as much as he loved Terra. He would wait forever for her to remember. He just had to have hope.

It’s been a little over a year since that day. All was going well for the Titans. Crime was at an all time low in Jump City. Something puzzled the Titans though. The strange creature they were fighting a year ago was never destroyed by the Titans. They think it may have just ran away never to return to Jump City. But it remained a big mystery. They knew nothing about the creature. Where did it come from? Who did it work for? Why did it constantly run and hide? Was It still alive...?

The Titans figured they would just wait for it to appear. They had no way of tracking it down. The creatures scent changed with each form it took, so Beast boy’s nose was pretty useless. There has not been any reports of damage or the monster in the city, so they just forgot about it eventually.

Beast boy still waited for Terra to come to him. Every time the phone rang, every time someone knocked on the door Beast boy wished it would be Terra, but it never was.

Beast boy checked where Terra’s statue use to be, just to make sure she was still out there. Every time the statue was not there, the only thing that remained was a concrete stand. He kinda knew it wouldn’t be there. He just wanted to be positive.

He sometimes watched Terra from the sky. He would watch where she went, watch what she did. He knew it was wrong to spy, but he couldn’t help himself. She seemed like an ordinary girl. He watched her come out of her home, she then waited for the bus to arrive, she then went to school. It was pretty much the same thing every day.

Terra knew something was strange about her. She could feel that she was different from the other students at school. She felt like she knew something but her mind wouldn’t let her remember. When she first saw Beast boy she felt like she knew him. That was a year ago. Terra began to feel even more strange and felt like she did something good and bad, but couldn’t remember. She needed help or it was going to drive her insane. She decided she would go visit Beast boy this summer.

It was finally the last day of school before summer break. Terra knew what she had to do.

Back at Titans Tower things were as normal as could be. Cyborg and Starfire were playing their new PS3. Starfire was actually winning against Cyborg in video games. Robin was training and preparing for slade’s surprise attacks, which never seemed to happen. Raven watched Cyborg and Starfire play video games, trying to understand them, but to no avail. Beast boy was cooking dinner. Tofu burgers and tofu milk shakes.

All of a sudden there was a knock on the door. Beast boy’s ears perked up and he ran to the door. The rest of the Titans did not even bother because they know he always gets it the fastest.

Beast boy rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn’t seeing things. But she was really here. Beast boy tried to say something but nothing came out. Finally Terra spoke up.

“May I come in, Beast boy?” Terra asked shyly.

Beast boy nodded and allowed Terra to walk into the Titans Tower. Everybody looked at Terra with huge eyes. Cyborg’s controller slipped out of his hand and the tofu burgers were burning in the kitchen.

The smell of burnt tofu finally snapped all of the Titans out of shock.

“Terra! You came! You finally came! Did you finally remember?!” Beast boy asked excitedly.

“I still don’t remember much. But I have these dreams at night about a person wearing an orange and black mask. One of his eyes is missing. He forced me to do something, I am not sure what. I know it is more than a simple dream! In these dreams, I have powers! The power you mentioned to me a year ago Beast boy. The power to move earth...” Terra spoke softly.

“Maybe we can try to help you remember” Robin spoke up.

“Yes, I may be able to tap into your mind and unlock the hidden memories if you wish. It won’t hurt. But... There may be memories you will wish that had not been unlocked. The choice is yours, Terra.” Raven said.

Terra tilted her head and went into deep thinking. This is what she came here for after all. She needed to know her past. She needed to know what happened before the accident. She needed to know what her dreams were saying. Even if the memories were bad, she wanted to know about herself.

Terra came out of her deep thinking. The Titans were looking at her waiting for her to speak. Finally Terra said “Let’s do it”.

“Are you sure you want to do this, Terra? I want you to remember us and all but if Raven can really unlock all your memories, there will be bad ones. I really want you to remember us Terra, all the fun we had together, and how you felt about me. Beast boy said.

“I am positive about this Beast boy, I can’t just run away from bad memories forever. I have to face them.” Terra said confidently.

Beast boy smiled like he hasn’t in years. Terra also showed a faint smile. “I am ready now if you are, Raven” Terra said.

Raven walked over in front of Terra and put her hands on Terra’s head and began to say special enchantments. “mIrLpOaV EnJinIaz qrzNXo....” She repeated those words over and over again while her mind was inside of Terra’s.

The only thing Terra could feel was Raven’s warm hands on her head. She appeared to be in a black room with thousands of doors with gold and black locks on them. Terra could hear noise of doors unlocking all around her. In every door that opened was an image. In one of the doors appeared to be Beast boy and a carnival. In another appeared to be her favorite pie. But in the darker locked doors appeared a big man in a steel mask. In another one of the darker doors appeared herself in weird clothes.

Terra fell to her knees and tears dripped down her pale cheeks. More and more doors were unlocking. A lot of them dark, but also a lot of them happy. Terra was beginning to remember little by little. She remembered that she use to live out doors, she has special powers, and she was a member of the Titans for a short time.

But she also remembered a lot of dark and evil memories... She remembered that she worked for Slade, she remembered how she betrayed her friends and Beast boy.

Terra’s memory was almost completely unlocked! There was no possible way to describe her feelings at this moment. So many good memories, yet so many bad ones all flooding her mind. But she was no longer confused. She knew the truth about herself. She knew what she had done. But she also remembered sacrificing herself to kill Slade.

Her lost memories now connected with her newer ones. She now understood why she was found by her parents in that cave. Of course now she realized they were not her real parents. But she was grateful they took her in anyway.

The dark room which was Terra’s mind was getting brighter and brighter. Soon so bright, the black room turned to white and she began to awaken.

Terra opened her eyes, as she did that, tears began to roll down her cheek. Raven was standing across from Terra looking at her. The rest of the Titans were in the other room to give Raven the needed concentration.

It took a few minutes for Terra to speak but she finally managed to say two words.

“I remember.”

“Do you remember everything, Terra?” Raven said.

“Yes, I remember everything. Thank you so much Raven.”

“Don’t mention it. But I think you should go talk to Beast boy. He is the reason why you are here”

Raven led Terra to Beast boy’s room. The door was closed but Raven knew he was in there. Raven left Terra at the front of his door.

Terra stood in front of the door for a good five minutes thinking of what she should say to him. She treated him pretty coldly before. Finally she mustered up the courage to knock on his door.

“Yes!” All of the Titans yelled.

Terra then took the communicator out of Robin’s hand. “Thank you”

The rest of the Titans nodded in agreement.

“I am so over joyed that you are once again with us, Terra! I say a celebration is needed!” Starfire said while squeezing Terra.

“Only if you promise to make some of your Tamaranian food.” Terra suggested.

Starfire happily agreed.

Suddenly the Titans alarm began to ring. The information of the distress signal appeared on the Titan main computer screen.

No information was available. Everything about it was unknown. The only thing known was it’s last location.

“Titans, go!” Robin yelled as all 6 Titans hurried into Jump City.
