I liked this a lot. I didn't read the actual comics, but I was familiar with the general arc of the story and Superboy-Prime as a baddie. Rainbow Girl, I had to remind myself about. Of course I loved the watersports aspect, and your being careful that Superboy didn't cave in RG's skull with his superstream. I'm a little disappointed that Rainbow Girl didn't last a bit longer, but hey, it was fun while she lasted. I assume she was too confused/stunned to try to use her powers? It might have been interesting if she managed to make him feel pity for her, or some other emotion. Hell, maybe she could have compelled him to kill her faster! :) If you're ever in the mood, it might be a good story to revisit this idea with Superboy-Prime choosing a more durable victim.
