I really liked this. You should definitely write more. I don't know the other doctor, but I love Crane. The intimacy between them is beautiful and tense, especially in the closed doctor's office.

I love the mocking bird part and the implication that Hush is Scarecrow's sidekick. Also the storm when they emerge from the doctor's office. A very strange but very delightful read at the same time.
