Great story!

Aw! That was so sweet and I loved the ending where Bruce finds a small bit of hope. Great characterization and plot. The only shame is that I haven't watched the episode in question so for an instant I was left shaking my head. But it didn't matter in the end. I also got a kick out of Bruce's 'payback' against Clark and Lois, no doubt referring to that great NC-17 fic by Ugly_Girl (I think that's the author anyways) where they masquerade as BM and WW. I look forward to reading more.

I absolutely love this fi you you capture exactly what is so appealing about this relationship perfectly -- the impossibility of it, but yet how romantic (in the non-cheesy sense) the idea of two such wonderfully similar people finding each other, even if only for brief moments.
