This isn't bad! I'm not a big Doom/FF fan, so I was a little confused at parts, but not nearly as much as I should have been, which is a compliment to your skills. Very good job!

"steel bustiers"? Is that a highlight for the honeymoon, too? Bravo, you've succeeded in making Doom lovable, and an OFC delightful. I do wish that you had more smut in it.... You should seriously consider having Jovi undress Doom, if only for the sheer oddity of it. I'm very glad you didn't abandon this story early on... I do hope that Jovi gets a good style rating from the Wasp. I'm definitely looking forward to "Lady Doom" and if you haven't read "By the Grace of Lady Vader" with a title like that, you should put it on your to-do list.

Absolutely loved it. Good strong characterisation, charm and a plot. Nothing more needed! Looking forward tremendously to the sequel.

    Hey Gevaisa!

I enjoyed the story very much - say, do you see a posibility to include "Daredevil" - the blind lawyer Matt Murdock into the sequel? A friend of mine and I, both students of "special education for the blind" had several laughing-fits during the movie and found all the ideas of blindness and compensating super-powers in that movie just hilarious - and I would love to see what you could make out of it!

Thank you, too, for another update of another story! Maybe if you let trouble come step by step and not with one big bang it would be easier to write?

    Sincere greetings and best wishes,

    awoman

Chap 16- Your newest chapters have been anything but displeasing! It's my own habit checking for chapters late at night while my roomie is asleep that curtails my ability to write out the glowing responses they merit in the wee hours of the night.
I think the way Malice simply faded away was a little anti-climatic, but it does serve to give Jovi and Sue something to talk about in common, especially since Jovi was able to do alone what Sue couldn't: drive Malice under. I'm not sure if flashbacks were the best format for the action and adventure sequences like taking Toad out, and while Victor is clearly the main draw for many, his dialogue during the retelling was necesarily limited so that it seemed almost too curt for his character.
But this chapter is extremey nice. The clash of viewpoints was more interesting than any battle that Victor and Magneto could have sustained (kudos for keeping that fight scene short, btw). Peaceful mudanity vs. cataclysmic superheroics is so commonly approached from the other side in the comic books that its nice to see somone come down on the sane side for once. But you continue to tease us with Jovi's aversion to costumes without giving us a concrete or personal reason. Surely there must be one? Also, don't forget your promise of a Valeria appearance! (tho I still stand by my conviction that Jovi's birth mom should crash the party.)

rereading chap 3.... Has anyone yet mentioned that it's Noh theatre that has masks, not kabuki? I remember sticking a mental pin in it for later, but I don't think I said anything.

Nooo! you need to post another chapter! You must! i offer you many cookies for this, and much praise. I love your character, the effort involved in developing her intelligence (her references and such) must take some time to compile. It is well worth that effort. Do you think at the wedding the superheroes will pull the same stunt as the villains did on on the Reeds wedding? Will Joviana start her own school for metahumans to turn them into doctors, writers, messengers and the like? Having Dr. Doom as a funder would piss oh so many heroes off as well as be completely within the bounds of moral behaviour. Are we going to meet up again with Sue? Oh, (sorry lots of ideas from this) is Joviana going to show Sue the errors of her husband's ways?

arg! and lastly please post soon!
    much luv

Yay! Joviana kicks super mutant ass!

You know, one thing that always irritated the hell out of me about the X-men was the lack of ordinary human characters. I wanted to see the sper people deal with the not so super people- their dentists, their cousins, the pizza delivery guy. There was this school full of people who were supposed to be all for humans and mutants living in peace, but they seemed to have nothing much to do with humans. Never made sense to me...

I love you heroine's take on costumed adventurers from a civilian viewpoint. Has she had any luck in getting Doom to "mainstream" Latveria's mutants into actual productive citizens. They can't all have martial applications to their powers anyway, right?

I do feel like Magneto's character and motivations are kind of lacking in the story. I never thought he was a very good politician, but he's supposed to be good at tactics, and kidnapping Doom's fiance in order to find out what makes her tick seems really kind of stupid. Y'know, kind of like not stockpiling supplies in structures that are going to be used as emergency shelters...

Totally enjoying the story, and still waiting for the kiss and make up part after the little lover's tiff a few chapters back.
