*waves* Hey. I first read this fic on your Live Journal a really long time ago, bidnidn't want to review it until it was finished. Now that it is, let me just say, I thinks iss is possibly the most accomplished Slade/Robin piece that I've ever read. You've got a knack for capturing the essence of the characters. I particularly liked how Robin was resistant until the bitter end. Afterall, he is a stubborn character, and most people are only too willing to turn him into some pathetic little boy that will submit at the first time of asking. I'm afraid I see Robin as more of a fighter. You've given good explaination as to why he submits - all tying back to his time as Slade's apprentice, and the fact that he can't control his own body. All this is definitely feasible, given that I'd say he's about what, seventeen? M six sixteen. Basically, he's at a time in adolescene where he's not going to care who it is that's pleasing him - as long as someone is. Besides, *grin* all this guilt gives for some excellent angst ridden writing, and don't we all love our angst?

You've got to feel for Slade sometimes, don't you? He's obssessed with Robin...so much so that he's willing to take one Hell of a chance to get near him. I mean...in an elevator? He must get a real rush from doing it there. His venom and passion come through well in your writing. It's pretty easy to see from Slade's vocabulary that he's enjoying every second of Robin's anxiousness. You're portraying that pretty well, too. I mean, the obvious contrast between the Titans and Slade is fairly easy to grasp - but the contrast between love and hate, that's different altogether. All in all, I think you've done an excellent job of playing Robin's hate and Robin's lust against each other.

Fantastic fic - be proud of it!

how much do i love you right now? too much to comprehend! the first response to my Slade/Robin challenge! and such a wonderful, wonderful read! there were a couple of tiny typos and tense confusions but i know what it's like to beta your own stuff so i can't complain.

i bow before your delicious writing! i writhe in wondrous pleasure for reading something so disturbingly(in the best way!) erotic. . . i. . . ok i think you get the point. . .

well i'll be going now, characters to torture(working on a virgin sacrifice one-shot, hehehe) and things to write(the next chapter of The Knife-Edge, which is the epitome of badness chapter and the chapter before just about everyone dies, *sigh*) so i'll leave you now! ja!
